Love the modular concepts and the dedicated safe space for Monty! The floor is Beauuuuuutiful!!! Mel does great work!
Now how awesome would it be to have a power outlet on the front wall of the van where you could plug a small heating pad in for the back half of the crate for Monty? (only in the back half so if he gets too hot he can alternate to the non-heated side)

As a dog owner am always on the look out for fitting their space in the van with the least disruption to mine. Modular I’d def the way to go. It really looks great.
That’s so great to know that you liked it. I knew I needed a safe space for my dog, but trying to work out the best placement has been the trickiest part so that he doesn’t feel trapped in a dark hole. I originally was going to put a bed under the main fixed bed, but in the end I thought it wouldn’t vent as well and be dark all the time for him.
This way when the doors are open he can still be contained if needed but has fresh air and a view of me if I’m outside so won’t be distressed. Hope this has given you some ideas for the future 👍🏻💚🚐

You made a right dog's box of that! Honestly, it looks great. You could even rotate it clockwise 90 degrees and use it with the pop up worktop. I have done something very similar in my Renault Trafic but mine is my battery box and is a seat to use with the adjustable height pop up worktop.
You could create a shoe locker under the floor in the door way. I would suggest you add a support under that unsupported corner though just in case you accidentally pup weight on it and crack your gorgeous floor. I wish I had used that laminate on my floor. Looks great xx (oh and you do sound posh)
Thank you Nomadd Uk! That battery box idea sounds good too. The pop up worktop idea is great, I’ll keep that in mind. The support has gone in, as yes the corner was starting to droop, so that’s been added to make it stronger and all’s good now.

There's so much in this... knocked up, why doesn't Mel's box have bars? Presicely, how many things are 'solid'? If MI6 super spy Gareth Williams can lock himself in a large bag, Mel can get in that 'SOLID' box. So Monty farts and Monty lives, Mel farts and he dies? 😂😂😂
