Well, I just learned that I've been wasting restores since I've been using them with my brews while salted, didn't occur to me that your stats get refreshed, cheers for that info!
You can also brew on the 15 second intervals and get your stats back on the same tick. Any of :15, :30, :45, and :00 remaining on your salt works. That also applies to overloads in cox.
My baby iron out here riding the struggle bus in 150s with a dragon sword lmao. This is a solid, no bs, no meta tech guide. Just go in, hit bosses, get loot. Hopefully more people get into raiding. ToA has its issues but its undeniable that it got more people into raids and end game pvm overall.

Thank you very much for clicking the bosses and getting loot, I especially learned a lot from when you clicked the last boss and then clicked the white potion and then got the loot! (actually didn't know you can braindead that part, that's nice to fall back on for when my skill issue kicks in). I just recently got back into OSRS and forgot a bunch of mechanics etc. so having this as a refresher helped a lot.
This is a great vid I can send my buddy who's gonna be starting ToA soon, told him he can do these once he gets a fang and lightbarer (yes he's an ironman). Once he gets his bofa he can go up to 400, and past that if he gets shadow.

Another tip for beginners, if you're overwhelmed at BaBa/need to collect yourself or just want to get some free DPS in, just range BaBa after the boulder skip. BaBa will not attack you until she's done throwing boulders. It gives you like 6-7 free range shots. Just beware of damaging too much after the first boulder phase because it could immediately throw you into the second boulder phase if you damage BaBa below the threshold, the threshold is 33%. Attack with melee anytime to end the boulder phase. Blowpipe on BaBa is really bad so stick with Bowfa for this or crossbow.
Keep up the good work! I feel like you have been making smart choices with guides, or at least thats how it feels with my main account (~850mil) and my ironman (perilous moon grinding). Excited to watch and find those little optimizations that gets me excited enough to jump in and grind!
For the brothers out there looking to get into TOA, I was trash at pvm 😂 but after building some confidence in entry mode then going straight to 150, then to 300, then 405 (all solo), I quickly realised that the only change really is their increased hp. You can essentially ignore their increased damage if you have semi-decent clicks. Semi-decent meaning you can move 2 squares at a time and pray correctly
I love how you dumb things down to the lowest level for us pea brains with 500ms brain latency. Makes scary content not so scary. Got some of my first CG completions because of your CG guide and this is also really easy to watch and understand
Yeah P2 is very weird, accuracy = max hits so using augury is very very good alongside minimizing -magic gear. The exact formula isn't known either afaik.

if ur totally clueless, need carried, hate monkeyroom or just dont like solo, you can find FFA 8man TOA on world 329 basically any hour of the day. most people there are very beginner friendly, and just down to raid for fun!

Serp guarantees venom with blowpipe on shamans, and with the qol change that keeps them from summoning thralls. Serp is very very good, i prefer it over face guard if it doesnt cost me a fang max hit.
very helpful guide, if I have dwh should I swap it out for bone dagger? not sure if the defense lowering is better and outweighs the higher risk of missing the spec or if bone dagger is just better in that case.

The higher the invocation, the more noticeable your mistakes are. For instance I forgot to turn protect melee back on against baba after boulders and he told me to sit.
So I’m not sure what video I watched, but they said something about saving baba for last, that was at 150 invo though. Is there any benefit for saving him in 300s?
For baba, if you have a bowfa and crystal armour, when you run up to the top DO NOT melee baba. If you continue using ranged, she will keep throwing boulders, allowing you to phase skip if you do enough damage.
When do you recommend upgrading to zenyte jewelry/ other upgrades? Trying to get a feel of when more dps is more of a benefit than the simplicity of fewer switches.
DPS is always better than fewer switches. You definitely want Anguish ASAP, and Torms. Suffering is completely useless and Torture is the same str as amulet so you can hold off on it for awhile.
BofA, fang is BiS, sang/shadow with ancestral. Spec weapons and pushing the invos. Once you get into the 500 range there's some hybrid budget setups you can do for more brew + restores. It really just depends
You should be fine doing even 300s with blue keris and hasta. It's totally servicable. it may just be hard. If you're finding it too hard, go down a bit in invos. That's the beauty of ToA! Just remember every raid is helping you improve, even if you fail it/die.
I'm not sure if this is a stupid question cause I'm new to raiding in OSRS (only done TOB story and a failed COX duo) but would it be possible to have a gear guide for TOB like this too? I understand that TOB it might be better done in a team of 3 so you can have 1 style for each style of nylocas. I don't have an insane bank either I really need to get into some PVM
Your best bet is to get all the Elite Void and do learner raids with that. ToB is the hardest of the three raids, but technically the least gear dependent because of Elite Void (this only works in ToB because everything's defense is drained to 0, you can't really use void anywhere else). My old ToB guide is still relevant

at 15:45. Why don't you kill the swarms first? And then the melee? I think killing the swarms is simular like doing damage to Khepri while he is down (because they heal khepri while he is down and killing the swarms prevents healing khepri) and then when Khepri is up (with low HP), you can kill the melee and finish off Khepri.
Would it be better to run Ahrim + Eclipse over Blessed D'hide + Blue? 1 more strength for melee and lower cost, but heavier. Asking because it's a diff of saving 6.3m or 2.8m for me

Your notes for using gearscape is the most useful thing here. No info on using gearscape out there really.

There will always be toxicity/elitism. Best you can do is surround yourself with people who want the same things as you, and be a good example.
I skipped the heart for a long time until I was reminded by the wiki that magic level increases thrall duration.
Heart is also 110m and you could upgrade your entire budget by selling it. I don't recommend actually owning a heart until very very late vame

P2 wardens damage taken calc involves max hit and accuracy, so accuracy increases max hits on p2 warden

at 15:45. Why don't you kill the swarms first? And then the melee? I think killing the swarms is simular like doing damage to Khepri while he is down (because they heal khepri while he is down and killing the swarms prevents healing khepri) and then when Khepri is up (with low HP), you can kill the melee and finish off Khepri.

Question: what happens if there only one salt in the first chaos? Do you still use for Akka? But then you only have one salt for boss and it could run out?
You never take Chaos. Take Power, then life. You should always have enough supplies by the time you hit the first ghost. You need 2 salts
