Just moved from FL to oregon. Picked up one of these today. First car was an 02 WRX (still have her). Super excited about this. Love seeing the home state in the background.
I got a 2013 SS would there be a difference in sound with a full outlaw axle back exhaust or a stock muffler replaced with an outlaw muffler with a resonator delete. The full axle back has a resonator delete. Please help
What size did you go on the rear tires? I went with 305/35ZR20 in the rear & 285/35/ZR20 on the front which has caused the speedometer to be off by 3 MPH slower.
@@6.2Pena It wasn't quite rubbing and it is lowered. I ended up switching to 305/30's in the rear to fix the speedometer and to avoid it rubbing. I didn't want to mess with relocating that wire harness.
What if I got 305s all the way around, does the upgrade have to be 285s front, 305 in the back and what does ordering rims go with two different widths?
since the camaro is RWD, you want beef on the rear wheels, that's where the power will be diverted upon launch. as for the rims, the 20in spec goes for all tires since it's referencing the inner diameter of the tire. even if the tire is wider, the diameter stays the same.
Anything that gets you significantly more power will probably void warranty. That’s why he didn’t mention it. Full Exhaust, LT2 ported mani, 95mm Throttle body, CAI, Heads + Cam Package, with E85 gets you plenty of power without even boosting it.
Not really. You could argue that a full exhaust would. However, the key here is that these mods would preserve the warranty while giving you some performance enhancement.
@@gvaspirated word, thinking about getting an LT1. Don’t know much about sports cars, I know stock is 455 hp and I would love to get it too 500. just don’t really know what to do
@@nonstopfeeds7169 I have the LT1 engine, I dynoed 380 whp bone stock. After catless headers + rotofab intake + tune, I dynoed 430 whp. I'm guessing an intake manifold (ported lt2 or msd) and e85 should get you just below 500. A cam would definitely push you above the 500 mark. Any form of boost would likely push you over the 600 mark but LT1s are sketchy with boost, so you'd have to spend a fortune to forge your internals (eg. pistons, rods etc)
I actually just bought a 2020 4cyl turbocharged camaro. Going to be doing a bunch to it

Also I like the direction he took with the lt1. Now I gotta get one too
LT1 with NPP, Recaros, Tech Package I’ll take that over 1SS any day of the week
2 years ago when you could buy one for 34K absolutely. Now they’re all 4-5 thousand dollars more.
I just put that same spoiler on my 23 2ss 1le. Looks way more aggressive now

What I need in my life

Are you stock ride height? Did you have any problems with the rears rubbing being 305/35/20?

Wider tires while keeping the same aspect ratio increases the overall diameter of the wheel. Thats probably why your speedometer was off.
What exhausts do you think I could get for my LT1 that would fit under my warranty?
Flowmaster outlaw
Borla Atak for sure. Corsa is the loudest but is overpriced. Flowmasters are good too but doesn’t have an option to retain NPP function.

The cute parts are cool but I’m tryna be a fast boy
Heads cam and a tune go get some brodix heads, and for the love of christ do not get a cam kit
And Intake manifold.
I wish I could do that stuff to mine, but I have a 160xxx power train warranty I would like to not void😅

What happened in the beginning. Did you get attacked by a mockingjay
275's are good on the rear..
I have 275 Nittos on the rear. Work just fine
Did any of these mods add hp?

All these mods are only for show.
Headers void the warranty as you should have the vehicle tuned or you purchased a performance part for nothing
I didn't mention headers specifically for that reason bro.
