  • Welcome to your 30 min animal moves flow. This sequence includes a full body yoga flow with primal movements to give you a dynamic and diverse practice.
    It's an energetic and playful practice that will have you twisting, turning, jumping and stretching all in one. At times it might feel like a workout and at others it may feel deeply relaxing and meditative. I hope you enjoy the mixture of movements.
    This class is better suited to intermediate practitioners as some of the transitions will be tricky for beginners.

    I've started calisthenics and have to combine resistant workout with stretching workout. Watched few yoga (probably different types) and few "mobility" videos, but this "yoga flow" type feels the best compliment so far.

    This might be my favorite video of yours that I’ve done so far. So much fun doing new moves. I was cracking up laughing during the monkey jumps. I couldn’t do the wheel. At the end of video lying on my back I put my hands behind me and I can do it with my head on the ground. You’ve given a new goal to work towards. Earlier this morning, I tried Aerial Yoga for the first time. I had a good time. I’ll give it another go in a few weeks or so.

    Animal & Primal Movements are my next fav practice to Yoga! I was always hoping that you would combine both these practices but was hesitant to suggest as I wasn’t sure what you thought about this movement practice. But I am so glad you answered my silent prayer by combining the two practices Charlie…totally enjoyed it so thank you so much! The only comment I would like to make is to name the different primal movement poses while practising such as static beast, loaded beast, ape etc. so that people are aware of the different poses. 💜👩🏻💙🍑💋💪🏻🙏🏻👌🏻✨ 🦍 🦀🥰

    I've been practicing Silat and Escrima since 1993 and Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi since 2008. I like practicing slow twisting and circling steps with blades. It nourishes my brain and I circulate my chi to stay healthy and massage my internal organs to stay soft and limber.
    The first thing I would teach someone is how to relax and root and circulate Qi. After relaxing, someone can learn basic Gong Fu!
    When I was 16 YO, I bought all the Yoga books from the used book store. I incorporated some of the postures into my stretching routine. I like to hold postures sometimes when I practice, and Silat has a lot of crouching postures.

    I have done this flow several times and enjoy it more each time! For me it gathers energy. I'd be happy to see longer version with even more integration of animal moves into the practice.

    I love the challenge this class brings and the contact movement. after finishing this workout, I felt really good and very sweaty. I also realized that there is so much more to yoga and I hope I can learn to improve. I hope to learn to do the wheel and be able to do some sort of a handstand...hopefully :)

    Charlie your primal movements personifies what it "is" to move like spirited animals! After my intense plyometrics and baskeball workouts I usually transition into deep Yoga. However, I felt that your "vinyasa flow " eased me into middle gear, instead of shifting down too fast. This type of flow is new to me. As I moved along with you, I found the angles/orientations reaching my tendons in pliable new ways. I still need to practice the "reverse table into wheel"-- that one is a tricky flow for me. ;) And that majestic tranqull lake/pond as your playground-- wow, what a blessing!

    Innovative! Interesting, challenging, accessible. During monkey jumps I was able to see that I had hand/arm strength that hasn't always been there. I saw some balance that is new. Love finding new discoveries in my body while on the mat. Thanks, Charlie!

    Hello Charlie. I came across your videos after I searched for animal moves last week .I tried two of them and both the videos are amazing. I felt my hips have opened a lot, my strength has improved exponentially and my body is getting way more muscular. This helps me a lot with my capoiera classes.     What a great experience! This is the first animal flow type of routine done and am very pleased. The ending is the only move I had difficulty doing, the disappearing or invisibility breath I need to work on 😅. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this for us all. You are appreciated 🙏

    I just found your page today, and I absolutely LOVED this flow. I love the animalistic nature, I found myself actually growl out some of my stored tension in some of the movements. I can't wait to keep flowing with you now. Thank you!

    Love this one, Charlie! We used a little On the Mend oil to warm up some creaky spots we couldn't get into to but looking forward to doing more of this flow! It's been added to our Stretch Sessions to Follow Playlist .Cheers 💥

    I think it is one of the best practices that I've seen so far. Nevertheless, naturally, without any 'advanced only' warning or more detailed explanation - I've ended up damaged myself in my knees and in my shoulders.
    Including around 20:00. Beside that, I enjoyed it. My only hope is that I won't regret it tomorrow.

    yes...this was fabulous. just what i was looking for...to be freed up from standard routines of exercises, looking for mobility which has reduced performance in life and sports...i need to follow this now- for definite> Wonderful

    I loved it, quite the challenge! My wrists are easily unhappy but this was doable for them. The singing blackbirds are such a joy, too!

    I loved this practice 👌 I will repeat once a week this month. I am still a table 😂 sweating and breathing every movement but I have felt my muscles and articulations stretching and making efforts. Thanks for sharing ❤
