Anyway just posting my experience with M1 macbook pro. If someone is planning to work with virtualization with docker and kubernetes and stuff do not go for M1. I had to switch to an intel macbook pro due to issues in above mentioned context. I highly recommend M1 for software development.

One of mechanic told me macs need regular services in every 6 months in countries like Sri Lanka as atmospheric dust is too high and will obstruct ventilation and it might be the cause for heating.
