@David.AVelez Nowadays everyone is so busy that they forget to hit the like button. I have found that mentioning it when asking for sub just reminds people. TH-cam algorithm has changed so much and uses AI to recommend videos. So if someone who primarily watched tech videos likes it, then YT will push your video to more people with like minds, increasing your viewing audience to tech watchers, who are more likely to sub, and dislikes will also help by not pushing your videos to people who don't watch tech type videos. Otherwise you will be just hitting random audiences and your views/subs will be random. But with a steady flow of techies like ourselves watching you will get more views and more complete video watches as well.

My main turn off for handhelds in the past has been screen size, which combined with screen refresh rate, has made them unpleasant for me to use long term, so they got re-gifted to friends and family, and while I don't have that issue with my Steam Deck, its borderline. I got he LLG mainly for the better CPU as the CPU side of the SD seemed to be its main weakness for emulators, with me choosing it over the AROGA due tot he screen size and refresh rate as both were of more value to me than freesync. In all honesty, the LLG is a bit of a mess software wise compared to the SD, but with the various updates and the windows version of emu deck, which I was already using thanks to the deck, I have now got an experience very similar to the SD with it booting into Steam Big Picture mode by default with no windows UI, but with the advantages outweighing the the disadvantages. I am glad my SD got me into this handheld PC gaming and showed it was viable and it still is on that device, but as of now, my LLG is the way to go for me, and once the Ryzen 8700G is released next week, the Steam Deck will no longer be needed as a HTPC and will be making my mate very happy instead.
Thank you so much! This YT thing can be tiring but comments like yours always make it worth it! I'm really happy you enjoyed it and there is more to come 😁
Absolutely impeccable comparison man. I had the chance to try the three of them for a reasonable amount of time and I agree 100% with what you described. Best of luck on your TH-cam journey.
Thank you so much, Ethian! I really appreciate that! It was fun breaking these down and using them. Current playing Midnight Suns on the Go 🤣 Which do you prefer of the 3?
The best of both worlds is ROG Ally. It's the most ergonomic and comfortable handheld among these pc handhelds. It's versatility with Steam + playing other launchers, mods and other use case that you can use to it is such a breath of fresh air. You are not limited to only playing steam and not limited to playing in tabletop coz of how light it is. Been playing it with Palworld and it's like holding a Switch with Steroids 🤣
Steam deck or more so steamOS its just linux is not limited to steam, one can use gog, epic w/heroic, that said for instance game pass still was not possible to get working on steamOS/linux.
One thing I don’t hear much reviewers talking about is continued support, valve is definitely more committed to deck support at this time, and given asus and Lenovos track record, I’m pressing X to doubt they’ll maintain prolonged support
Valve need to support it because it is linux while in Asus and Lenovo is windows and Asus and Lenovo only need few updates on their game launchers and windows will do the updates at the same time all games are compatible on windows in steamdeck you need to see if it is verified or not. Valve needs to support it so some games can be played on a Linux handheld. I have acer VX 15 bought it since 2017 up until now almost 7 years it still getting updates from windows and it still working fine and can still play games more than the steamdeck which is given because it is a windows laptop.
Well, you would be wrong there! :) Ben from Lenovo is very active on letting people know what's coming in the updates and walking people through issues so they can learn how to fix it for everyone. I have been impressed to say the least. I have a Go and am enjoying it, can't speak for the Ally or SD. The thing that turned me off of the SD, is that I can't even play half of my Steam library on the damn thing, at least not without having to install a handful of mods to get games working. While I pretty much hate Win11, it plays EVERYTHING I own from any platform, so in the end that's what won me over. Steam, Gamepass and a massive Retro build, it all just works. Having said that, what Valve has done with gaming on Linux is incredible, and I hope it continues to get better. The SD is a great piece of tech, but I'll hold out until the next one :D
@@MrNickpeck36 My experience is pretty much exact opposite. The only games that I cant play on the SD I wasnt going to play anyway. Being completely honest I just wish I could get a z1 oled deck available. I do wish the steam deck oled wouldve added usb4. Then I wouldve upgraded from my LCD for it
I actually don't put my Lenovo legion go in sleep mode. I disabled that feature because it messes up gaming computers well, not really messes it up, but it drains your performance anyway. So even on my desktop gaming PC I disabled hibernation an sleep mode.
Regarding the speakers on the Legion Go are you using FXsound? I was quite astonished as to the difference it made to the sound on my Legion Go when I got it installed. I don't think it's enough to entirely bridge the gap to the other devices when it comes to sound. But to me the main thing I have been lacking is loudness. And FXsound provided that without distorting.
I agree.... I'm honestly a bit disappointed to see these handheld not include the led screens... it's not that much more expensive to add. I would pay an extra 50 for an OLED display. And the battery life will be better... but honestly Legion go screen is top quality.. even the blacks look accurate on it.
Thanks for buying all those handhelds, staying home playing games and saving some ladies for the rest of us! In all seriousness Legion go with some headphones for the win. I love my steam deck but legions screen is a perfect laptop/handheld hybrid.
Hahaha! I'm grateful to have my lady, so have attem! But save some for the rest of the viewers 😉 😂 And you know what's crazy? All my hours played on the Go.... not once have I used headphones 🤦🏽♂️ It literally never occurred to me 😂 Will be giving that a try! I'm loving th Go and glad you are also!
@@DavidAVelez1 I'm a bed player so if I don't want to ruin any future potential of lovin from my wife one earbud goes in the left ear cause the right needs to stay open for any random comment I'll surely be blamed for forgetting. My wife hates video games, and technology but understands it was my hobby when we met.
Must just say symetrical sticks are great on the steam deck because they are positioned high relative to the grip as opposed to forced downward as in ps5 controller which can be painful after long play sessions, which is why these new handhelds may be choosing the offset method.
Legion go and rog ally. I have the Lenovo, think that rog might have slightly better performance, but legion go has a massive screen, so that's that. Writing this comment on my Lenovo, videos are pretty awesome to watch on it :)
Good video man. Thanks for comparing all three. I might wait until year end to see if any revised/new versions of the handhelds are due to be released. What game is being played at the 7:15 timestamp?
I’m thinking about buying either the steam deck oled or the ally I just can’t make up my mind. I’ll mostly be playing red dead redemption 2 and maybe some Xbox game pass. Which would you recommend?
I'm pretty sure you can but it's alot of work to get it running I don't have or play gamepass so I have no clue really but I've seen people get it working on the steam deck before. I don't own any of the other devices but the oled and lcd steam deck and I would say they are both amazing I would definitely go for oled it you do go steam deck route just for the upgrades but they both are very phenomenal devices and the lcd you can get for pretty cheap rn if budget is an issue. I've yet to come across a game that hasn't run on the SD you do have to do some tinkering with some games to optimize your experience most stuff just works though but I don't play alot of multiplayer besides mmos and the ones I play all run amazing on SD emulation is wonderful as well i play demon souls ps3 version but ps3 emulation is a bit iffy and switch games the switch emulation is pretty amazing runs better than my actual switch most the time if not the same if you were interested in that side of things. Also with the ally I'm not sure if this still an issue but it was destroying SD cards when you put them in your device they might've fixed that by now but just a heads up with that one. I hope this helps you in your handheld decision making and purchase whatever you get I'm sure you'll love it welcome to true handheld gaming!
Thanks for the input i was wondering if the lenovo legion go would be good for for someone who likes sports games? I haven't heard any reviews discussing that. Keep up the great content
Another banger video my guy. For me personally I'm leaning more towards the Legion Go. Of course its a lot more expensive (especially in my country its like 20-30% more expensive than market value because it has to get imported). The versatility, options, raw power, and of course the screen is what's pulling me in. I already use a PC to game on a daily basis so I don't think tinkering with windows 11 will bother me much. I just think its insane how much gaming potential this device can bring in such a small and convenient form factor (comparing it to a normal gaming laptop). Regarding with the poor battery life, I say just buy a 65 watt power bank and easily get 2-3 hours more on the Go. Hopefully I can save up money to get one for myself by 2nd quarter of this year! Great video my guy, looking forward to more Legion Go videos
Thanks so much for the kind words, Clarke! I do find myself leaning toward the Go and picking that up more often on a day to day basis than the other two also. Steamdeck is easiest for the average person to pick up and use, though, for sure! It's great we have so many options now!
Ease of use definitely the deck, but since i only use it at home.. i like the power that the ally has. Comfort definitely the deck! Everyone says it’s big until they hold it.. then they understand
If you need the longest play time unplugged the OLED deck is the winner. The Legion Go is better at everything else. I love my Legion Go. The Ally is good but I just feel like it got out classed by the Go and the New Deck almost doubles its battery life and the Ally has the smallest screen. Of the 3 with the worst battery life. It just doesn’t compete to me.
That was an easy subscription bro. I also have all 3 and your opinions were spot on with all 3. I cant get over the amazing go screen, but I do miss the steamdeck comfort. But i realized with the go, you let it rest in your fingers, then let it kind of float so your plams dont dig into the sharp sides.
Had all 3 and an ayaneo 2. If you want a pure handheld, turn it on plays games instantly, get steam deck, imo has the best stick positions. You want a deck with windows and more juice, you get rog ally. You want a mini pc that plays games, that is portable, legion go for you. You can add an Egpu to legion go, probably can on ally too but having detachable controllers really matter on the portable pc side of things. You can turn into just a screen. Has its own kick stand, looks great on a desk next to a portable monitor for pc tasks. I'll add in my aya 2. Thats a premium device with expensive price, mine was used. Theyre really good, software a little awkard in chinese. Its all glass which makes it quite premuim over others. Easy to use, 3x usb ports, no bezels. I sold my deck and ally for it. 2tb and 32gb ram is nice.
Haha! Very good question. I would say the Go is the loudest of the 3 and you'd want to play on a lower fan curve for sure. The Deck and Ally can play at higher TDP and be quieter (well, the Deck maxes out at 15, but the 25W on the Ally is workable I a quiet setting)
I have used all 4 systems, i have the steam deck, legion go, rog ally, logitec gcloud. My go to for travel is the logitec gcloud. I have installed a bunch of emulators and roms and can play xbox game pass using my hotspot on the go and i get 10hrs battery life. But as farnas the 3 handhelds mentioned on this video the lenovo legion go is my favorite. The screen is nicer on the rog ally but the screen on the lenovi legion go is bigger and has 144hz refresh rate. Also no issues with mocro sd card on the lenovo go. I am afraid to use a micro sd card on the rog since it has burned 2 already. Steam deck is a good device but the screen resolution killed it for me even with oled.
After watching this and the comments I had gotten I went with the ally. I had to return the first one the very next day due to the left joystick stopped working and then the second one kept crashing every time you opened any game and took it back and was told that there was something wrong with the board. So I got the refund and ordered the steam deck oled I really hope I have better luck out of the steam deck
LLG limited to software but screen is amazing, SD OLED old chips, limited software, but better on battery life and beautiful OLED screens. So I think the ALLY is all rounder best to buy right now while waiting for upcoming ALLY 2
Thanks for your other comment! Super helpful. How does it run on the Steamdeck? I ask because it has some performance issues sometimes on the Ally and Go which are more powerful. Madden as a whole isn't optimized all that well
after having my Oled ..my legion go and ally are sitting in the corner...will sell them next week sad because love the legion go display the only thing thats good on it

Subscribed. You should totally go full time TH-cam. Good, clear consise, non biased comparison with clear notifications of what your preferences are. I too own all 3 and they are all great for different uses. I agree Legion go is by far superior. However keep in mind, Ssd drives will fail faster on legion go and those 2242 drives are very expensive. My legion go is 3 months old and the drive is 89% life remaining. This is due to massive overheating of ssd. Temps on ssd frequently get into 85-90°c... there are small copper heatsinks on Amazon that help but not by much. Just a heads up on that
Wait, Really? That's crazy haha. Thank you for this tip! It would be nice if Steam gave an indicator for those who don't know you can workaround that way (like me, embarrassingly haha)
Everyone please look at this comment 😂 Although I think you're the first one to catch that, haha, I haven't caught any slack for it. But I appreciate your taking the time to comment nonethless!
@David.AVelez totally agreed on that. Have you changed the setting in the builtin Realtek app and put all the equalizer up and turned the omnidirectional sound on? Improved the sound quality, but still not better than the rog or steamdeck
🤣🤣🤣 I grew up with us loving Christmas so much we usually keep it until the last week of January, haha! I'm about 95% sure we're taking it down either today or tomorrow, though
Love the vibe of your videos and great content - have subbed! Best of luck on the road to 50K (and beyond) my man. Since having a kid my PS5 is collecting dust - hence looking to sell and get a handheld (I have a Switch too but thats more my family console) I know none of these can truly replace my PS5 but I can overlook that given the portability aspect. I am torn between the SD OLED and the L GO. I would probably be using Steam 99% of the time for games so wanted to ask in your experience: - How has the L GO handled running Steam and games off it. I have read a few places saying that controller support is a little iffy unlike Steam where you can select profiles etc - As someone who has never had a PC set up, how much 'tinkering' were you doing for every game to get it running properly? I dont mind changing a few settings before diving in (There are plenty guides online I am sure) but did you find yourself doing a LOT or just about the minimum? - I also read it didnt play all too well on lower TDP (compared to SD) did you find the L GO looked 'bad' on lower settings? - Do older games look blurry or pixelated on the screen due to its size, and how well do AAA games run? As I am looking to replace my PS5, the 8.8 inch screen is really attracting me to this. Battery life does concern me but if I am at home I should be near an outlet anyway, just when it comes to taking it out and about would be the question. Thank you in advance, any advice would be most appreciated!
I have used steam deck and rog ally. I love rog ally but I hate windows 11…. Once I complete my free libraries on epic I will definitely install Linux on ally.
Steam Deck: Awesome. I use it every day. AOG ROG Ally: Beautiful. I use it every other day. Nintendo Switch: OG original handheld for exclusive Nintendo titles. Legion Go: Too late. I don't need another handheld, and I absolutely do not want or need another portable device with joycons.
The TH-cam Algorithm can be a cruel mistress 🤣 I really appreciate the kind words EDJ! Hopefully I can hit that mark! Aiming to get a home this year with my fiance, and this would be a huge help. Thanks so much and MUCH more content to come for you guys 😁
I got the Rog Ally on Friday, now thats only 2 days , my mind Is blown by it. It did take a ling time ti set uo and work it's querks out and get everything installed. Cloning the disk to a 2tb did not work so had to cloud restore onto it. A few people say the sticks are a bit too loose, theese are really tight and have nice resistance. So Im thinking with it being bought like this week sometime in it's development they fixed it. I was worried before i got it with things like that that i may not like the sticks or buttons but it's very preem feeling! Battery from the get go was getting drained very quickly. After some registry edits and in depth tweaking and debloating I'm getting twice the battery in AAA ganes almost and just in windows doing things it's barly going down. Maybe the same drain as my pixel 8 pro when im using that for general stuff. I just adore it! I dont like the brick style charger, and bought a 65W charger that doesn't charge it properly, so dropled that off to go back and ordered a 120w that people say works. The 3rd party dock charging Pass through won't charge properly either. Theres a lot of accessories out there that just don't work. It can be hard to get the right balance in windows to fit things on screen whilst getting the text and size big enough to see properly. Theres a few things I had to do there. Im getting around 25-35 fps in star citizen because I had to try that and tweak it. That blew my mind! Red dead redemption 2 plays like a dream!! Looks amazing and very smooth! Ill put emulation on it tomorrow. Priject Zomboid plays well on it control wise, very happy about that. Im glad I got this and not the Steam deck. Having premiere pro on it and a ton of other stuff I can now do when I take it to work is great. The steam deck is too limiting for me o my the OLED I kind if wanted but after seeing this screen Im not bothered about it. i have an OLED on my main PC and for LED this is a fantastic screen. The Lenovo go is for just too big and heavy. And the detachable controllers look like they will break after a while having olastic connectors on one side. Speakers ive heard are really not good, theese ally speakers im impressed with!!!
@Cary_mac For me, the 24U! Both are absolutely great phones and the IPhone does what it can do very well! Bit for me, the 23U and 24/Galaxy Fold 5 are more true life companions than the IP is
@Cary_mac Oh wait 😂😂😂😂😂😂 My apologies, been going back and forth commenting on my recent video. Thankfully thata doing well. Out of these 3, for me, I side with the Legion Go for sure. Love the massive screen, grips feel better than the Ally, The Kickstand is awesome and I find myself missing it whenever I pick up the other two, and good battery. All preference of course! And there are some software things for them to add like better Gyro but all in all, Legion Go for me!
I have so many of these handhelds and I’ll keep it 100% honest, I go for the deck oled more than any of them. It is not underpowered, it utilizes what it has better than any, benchmarks are extremely misleading, I ran my own test with real gameplay across a 7840u with 64 gig ram, z1 extreme, and deck oled. I’ve found the deck more consistent, less studdery, and just a better experience. Going beyond 15 watts on other devices will burn through the battery and not be worth the trade off. unless you have the patience for Xbox on pc and pc gamepass, or need call of duty on a handheld, go with the steam deck oled. If u have both do some comparisons and look for yourselves!
Steam Deck is to limited can't even play all of its steam games and will just collect dust. I rather carry a Power bank and play on 30 wats 1080p 12ohz than to limit my self on what to play on my handheld
Steam Deck is not 1000 nits. Its 600. SD is apable of reaching 1000 nits brightness during some HDR scenes. FYI. I have both steam deck OLED, as well as ROG Ally. To me Ally feels brighter.
I enjoy some of the more slightly faded/lifted blacks look like in some movies - And some viewers do also! But it's so split 😂 Some like it, some say it's ugly. I'll keep tweaking!
Subject of fans. I've got aya 2 and the go. I don't agree with the loud fan part. They're both as loud as each other, and i wouldn't say either are loud at all under gaming. Really, just downloading you notice the noise. Only time you'll have no audio. If anyone thinks, im not playing another ps4 jet engine machine. Ones that were so loud sounded like a jet engine. Its just fans push air through top. Nothing major. Try using a gaming laptop. Them fans go mental at times.
Honestly stram deck oled is cool but you can't play any game you want. Can't play fc can't play cod can't play big tittle games.. so I sold it and I'm thinking of getting the lenovo or asus
Eh max 20 min longer on the legion over the ally and on highest performance only 7 min also your video is so sponsored 😂 you just try to turn everything arround to the steam deck and forget what the problem is with it and its the hardware its outdated..... And to weak i owned a steamdeck sold it got a legion go and the ally the price tak on the steamdeck oled is basicly the same aa asus rog ally.... But hardware is 3 to 4 times better on the ally but ur not the only youtuber that went to the dark side the ones reviewing asus and lenovo went there to not many honest reviews left..
Can someone explain to me why everyone has a hard on for the detachable controllers... i dont want the screen further away from my eyes its already small enough as it is!

This is a really good point!
I just got the legion go and im blown away on the screen it can easily pass as near OLED it looks beautiful wow 😍
I agree.... I'm honestly a bit disappointed to see these handheld not include the led screens... it's not that much more expensive to add. I would pay an extra 50 for an OLED display. And the battery life will be better... but honestly Legion go screen is top quality.. even the blacks look accurate on it.
This is my style of review. None of the bs, straight usage and to the point. Love this man, new subscriber.
But save some for the rest of the viewers 😉 😂
And you know what's crazy? All my hours played on the Go.... not once have I used headphones 🤦🏽♂️ It literally never occurred to me 😂 Will be giving that a try! I'm loving th Go and glad you are also!

Amazing video my friend. Loved your presentation, your attitude, your character. Thank you for your time doing this. Take care.
What is the mic you use on your shirt? Thanks!
It's a Rode Wireless Pro 2!
Must just say symetrical sticks are great on the steam deck because they are positioned high relative to the grip as opposed to forced downward as in ps5 controller which can be painful after long play sessions, which is why these new handhelds may be choosing the offset method.
would you ever try an Ayaneo or GPD handheld? or the upcoming MSI Claw?
Is the ally z1 or z1 extreme. Also exclusively plan on using it docked. Which one is better docked?
Legion go and rog ally. I have the Lenovo, think that rog might have slightly better performance, but legion go has a massive screen, so that's that. Writing this comment on my Lenovo, videos are pretty awesome to watch on it :)
Which of the three is best if I was planning to use it in docked mode to a 4K tv playing steam local multiplayer games of up to 4 or more?
Legion Go
Good video man. Thanks for comparing all three.
I might wait until year end to see if any revised/new versions of the handhelds are due to be released.
What game is being played at the 7:15 timestamp?
Did you figure it out?
Gives me heavy megaman X and 20xx/30xx vibes which im all in for.
Amazing review!
Posted my Asus ROG Ally review lately, but I'm still thinking if I should keep it or not ....
😅(I already have PS5/XSX/ Switch Oled )
My Bro Dave💪🏾 Great video as always bro!
All of them good for single player, we need them be test on crowd multiplayer like battlefield
How is the use of trackpad in legion go for shooter games?
Nice video, liked and subscribed - keep it up!!
ill sub thanks for the detailed review !
I’m thinking about buying either the steam deck oled or the ally I just can’t make up my mind. I’ll mostly be playing red dead redemption 2 and maybe some Xbox game pass. Which would you recommend?
If it's Xbox game pass then the rog ally
Ally has 3 months free Xbox Game Pass so go with the Ally
You can’t put game pass on steam deck? Sorry but I’ve never had a handheld gaming device
@@elvinnorthern904 No because you can only play steam games on steamdeck
They got Miguel reviewing video game handhelds now. Le le let my love adorn you.
This is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
9:39 In a vacuum, you wouldn't hear sound from the speakers of any of these devices
HAHAHAHAHAH
This is gold 🤣🤣🤣🤣
First time I've seen this kind of comment. Kudos 👏 And thank you for the laugh 🤣
@@DavidAVelez1 Glad to be of service. And thank you for the great video! I’m still trying to decide which handheld to go for.
Can I connect my AirPods to legion go?
Yes, they are Bluetooth and the lenovo go has Bluetooth.
How are you playing madden on the legion it is so choppy for me I can’t play even on the lowest resolution and settings
I would say increase your VRAM to 6GBs! That works well for me!
@@DavidAVelez1 I will do that now thanks! You deserve a follow for the quick response😌
@@DavidAVelez1 I’m still having issues what resolution do you play on?
I play madden thru Xbox game pass. No choppy at all. Plays great on all the systems.
@@joeoreo2498 i live in a van so I don’t have the best internet for game pass lol but it it runs fine now. Love the Lenovo go!
The Legion Go rules currently, no question
hopefully you can hit 50k :)
Thank you, Sammy! Haha, I hope so! I enjoy making content for you all a ton 😁
If you like sports games which one is the winner
My son and I get both thumbs numb with the steam Deck. Does anybody experience these too?
That was an easy subscription bro. I also have all 3 and your opinions were spot on with all 3. I cant get over the amazing go screen, but I do miss the steamdeck comfort. But i realized with the go, you let it rest in your fingers, then let it kind of float so your plams dont dig into the sharp sides.
Great video!!!
Lies
Subbed…..love the vids bro
I really appreciate that, thank you! Comments like yours letting me knowing you enjoy the content always makes it worth it 😁
For me i like legion go as a laptop and i like steamdeck as a handheld.
Got the legion go and returned it because of the fan noise. just navigating the system brought the fans up
Had all 3 and an ayaneo 2. 2tb and 32gb ram is nice.
my real question is HOW loud does the fan get.... Like sitting in a room with people during a movie would piss them off or ? haha
Haha! Very good question. I would say the Go is the loudest of the 3 and you'd want to play on a lower fan curve for sure.
The Deck and Ally can play at higher TDP and be quieter (well, the Deck maxes out at 15, but the 25W on the Ally is workable I a quiet setting)
@@DavidAVelez1 thank you haha. I'm considering waiting now the that rumour mill shows 2024 release for ally 2!
Love my OLED Steam deck but I prefer the VRR on the Ally.
This video is 5hra old and madden doesn’t work?? I’ve been playing madden this whole time on the steam deck lcd
Thanks for your other comment! Super helpful.
How does it run on the Steamdeck? I ask because it has some performance issues sometimes on the Ally and Go which are more powerful. Madden as a whole isn't optimized all that well
My new Steam Deck Oled, Switch and my PS4 are enough for me😊
SteamDeck all the way.
The only thing is that the Deck doesn't LITERALLY Steam anything.
Really disappointing.
Good stuff 🔥
certainly biggest gaming decision to make which one to buy now. think i gotta go with the ally 🙄

Just a heads up on that
Thought about the Steamdeck Oled, but after I bought the Legion Go, the Ally even is getting dusty 😂
Lauch steam deck in desktop mode then open steam play a ea game login once and whola it’ll work in game mode forevers
Wait, Really? That's crazy haha. Thank you for this tip! It would be nice if Steam gave an indicator for those who don't know you can workaround that way (like me, embarrassingly haha)

The Go has been amazinng 😂
Onnnnnly thing is I wish the speakers were better, and its definitely louder than the other two.
Otherwise?
*Chefs Kiss*
@David.AVelez totally agreed on that. Have you changed the setting in the builtin Realtek app and put all the equalizer up and turned the omnidirectional sound on? Improved the sound quality, but still not better than the rog or steamdeck
I'll agree once I get steam OS running on it 😂

Love the vibe of your videos and great content - have subbed! Best of luck on the road to 50K (and beyond) my man.
Since having a kid my PS5 is collecting dust - hence looking to sell and get a handheld (I have a Switch too but thats more my family console)
I know none of these can truly replace my PS5 but I can overlook that given the portability aspect. I am torn between the SD OLED and the L GO. I would probably be using Steam 99% of the time for games so wanted to ask in your experience:
- How has the L GO handled running Steam and games off it. I have read a few places saying that controller support is a little iffy unlike Steam where you can select profiles etc
- As someone who has never had a PC set up, how much 'tinkering' were you doing for every game to get it running properly?
Phillies in the house 💪🏽
Steamdeck Oled still stoms the rest
I have used steam deck and rog ally. I love rog ally but I hate windows 11…. Once I complete my free libraries on epic I will definitely install Linux on ally.
Steam Deck: Awesome. I use it every day.
AOG ROG Ally: Beautiful. I use it every other day.
Nintendo Switch: OG original handheld for exclusive Nintendo titles.
Legion Go: Too late. I don't need another handheld, and I absolutely do not want or need another portable device with joycons.
I hate Playstation symmetrical thumbsticks. Funny how we all have a specific preference.
Hahahah, EXACTLY! Different strokes, different folks. It's great we have options!
@@DavidAVelez1 I don't hate symmetrical but I definitely hate how high up they are on the SD.
You should have been at 50k already, subbed and liked, hopefully that helps you in the broke TH-cam algorithm. Keep up the good work
The TH-cam Algorithm can be a cruel mistress 🤣 I really appreciate the kind words EDJ!

@@DavidAVelez1 so the question of the day my friend. Which did you keep for your daily carry??
@Cary_mac For me, the 24U!
Both are absolutely great phones and the IPhone does what it can do very well! Bit for me, the 23U and 24/Galaxy Fold 5 are more true life companions than the IP is
@@DavidAVelez1 I meant for these gaming decks hah
@Cary_mac Oh wait 😂😂😂😂😂😂 My apologies, been going back and forth commenting on my recent video. Thankfully thata doing well.
Out of these 3, for me, I side with the Legion Go for sure. Love the massive screen, grips feel better than the Ally,
The Kickstand is awesome and I find myself missing it whenever I pick up the other two, and good battery.
You can play most of the games with proton, so far i didnt find any game i cant play
The deck is the ultimate the others are like prototypes of laptop transforming slowlu into a handheld.
Steam Deck is not 1000 nits. Its 600. SD is apable of reaching 1000 nits brightness during some HDR scenes.
FYI. I have both steam deck OLED, as well as ROG Ally. To me Ally feels brighter.
He said peak brightness, which you just agreed.

Heart says Lenovo Legion Go but pocket says Rog Ally. The steam deck can go in the trash along anything else valve makes.
