no iMessage/Facetime/Airdrop is what prevents me from using Android for my daily phone.. I have a Pixel 8 chillin that's fun to use but when stuff needs to get done, I grab my 15 pro max.. here in America, no one uses WhatsApp regularly. Everyone uses iMessage

I have an iPhone 14. I tried the S23 Ultra for 2 months and it was so amazingly fast and smooth and battery lasted a crazy long time. Like if they can make One UI easier to use it would win hands down. I’m the type of guy that pulls out my note app to jot something down but if I had that S pen built into my phone I could jot it down real quick and come back to it. Real thoughtful machine.

Never heard anyone bring it to the attention that with the price of these phones, they should offer more, and we should expect more. I was a true Apple diehard for many years until I tried a Samsung Note 3 (yes that old) and found I could just do more with the phone.

Regarding photo and video editing. Is there a better way than having to transfer files to tablet, edit, then transfer out?

Nice to see someone really using it with a long term review. How do you like the s9+ for portability, and reading on the go? I am debating with the base model and s9+. And secondly, I plan on using the tablet as a secondary monitor to my desktop when I'm not actively using it as a tablet. What do you think? Would it be a problem for the screen?

Do you use a portable Internet device or your phone hotspot? And do you have a video on some basic accessories for school and for work?

Im confused on one point... the s24 ultra certainly plays some games in 120 fps, and pub g is supposed to be releasing an update to support 120 on the samsung as well. Not sure what exactly you're reference

Ipad is better for me camera is better on ipad main cam and front cam ultra wide on samsung of course screen on ipad is ahit speakers is amazing battery is abit better charging on samsung performance is obviously ipad and yea ilove ipad its more context to buy it its about personal preference 😅

I love everything about my galaxy tab s9 plus except that... The iPad has two things over Samsung: the better camera and the better suite of professional apps and app support. We only have lumafusion on the Google Play store. Would love to have some vector drawing Software like affinity designer. Nomad sculpt is on the Play store but apparently it is missing a feature that is exclusive on iOS. If Samsung can invest in the app support, the tab would easily be #1 in my opinion!

As a Tab S5e User, i feel a *caveman like ape* compared to the Tab S9 Ultra.

I'm still wondering if the iPad would ever have a desktop mode ala "macOS" lite or something like that. They could be working on that, but I also trust Apple's need to ensure that their MacBooks sell. I tried using both the iPad and Samsung Tablet (older model) for work. I need to use some extensions for work as the apps don't cut it for me. The time when i try to use it as desktop , that's when I felt the limitations albeit, to me, the Android is a lot more versatile in this. If i was a content creator of the sort, I would say, video editing SHOULD be better on the iPad but If I'm just going to post shit on IG, it doesn't matter to me. btw, I really hate the IG app on both tablets. tbf, Android allows me to reshape , resize the app so i don't feel much pain with it as one would but I find myself reaching out for my phone if I want to post something on IG. I use Kiwi Browser mostly for my work and brave or Opera for personal use. I didn't want to use Samsung Internet despite me thinking it's great but it's not really on my desktop PC or my Mac other than the extension for bookmarks. I use two password managers also, 1password and bitwarden. Overlay works on both but there was a moment where i needed to access 1password instead of bitwarden , i had 1password as a floating window and copy and pasted my login . I notice for Android, I must use the touch screen to hold and paste my login instead of using the keyboard shortcut. I also found that the numpad on the MX keys doesn't work on Android. I can't remember for the iPad since i sold it as it became less useful to me other than a netflix streaming monitor. Also, if you're actually reading this, I would suggest Localsend for your airdrop needs with mac and android. it's multiplatform and it can be found on the appstore and everywhere else or you can download the dmg off the github page. Quickshare works on Windows if you have that. Must be an intel bluetooth chip though. anything else like realtek, won't work at the moment but localsend, yes. TLDR; i prefer the samsung over the iPad. Also, you're doing a great job as a tech reviewer. I don't feel it's too polished or scripted like how i feel MKBHD and mrwhoosetheboss feels like.

Does anyone know why I can't download voice access on my S24 ultra. It keeps saying it's downloading. But nothing is happening..for several days now. Hmmm

Foldables and flips are still a waste of money as they are fragile as heck. My wife's Samsung flip 4s hinge skewed out of allianment when it fell on our carpeted floor from her hand. Thankfully, our carrier fixed it, no questions asked. But the fact that these phones no matter the manufacturer brake this easy is not acceptable for the price. Until they become as robust as current gen slab phones, Foldables are not a good idea for heavy phone users.

You can't go wrong with either but I do love my Tab S9 Ultra. I use it for gaming (COD) and all my streaming content. I highly recommend this device and this channel. Great video as always

I don't have any problems with the haptic motor in my S9 Ultra. Also since i have this tablet, because of DEX I used it 95% as my main computer, no need for a laptop anymore. Of course if you want to do more professional work on a tablet the iPad would be better because of more programs available, it is more powerful for that, but if you do want to do more serious work a laptop would be a better buy. But for photo normal editing, some video editing, movie watching, gaming with a controller, the S9 Ultra is great. I especially love to connect it to a TV/monitor, connect a controller and play xbox games like that, you don't even need a console

M4 is only necessary for gaming rest all points goes to Samsung tab S9

Are the screen qualities comparable? Or is one significantly better than the other?

You can enable developer settings on android and make transitions and animations etc for example 0,5 times speed so everything feels even more snappy :P hidden feature many don't know

Samsung galaxy s24 also has a photo and video drop transfer also.. just like air drop but better.

Great video as always I’ve had the s9 plus great tablet but just moved to the M4 13inch pro and for my use case it just fits better. Both phenomenal products but I’m also in the apple ecosystem which makes my thoughts biased to an extent.

One thing a lot of reviewers seem to forget is that the ipads pen needs to be charged in order to work at all. For the S Pen, it only needs to be charged to use air gesture.

Not sure what Apple was thinking by putting an M4 chip in an iPad but restricting it with software. Lol

I'm an Apple fan all the way since the first 9.7 Pro...what...10 years ago? I fell in love with the Pencil. I had the old Note Pro tablet first but didn't care for it. Fast forward and I'm going to get the best specs I can afford if I'm throwing my money around. So I wanted the new Pencil because, well...love! I can't do the Air...60 Hz is a joke. 256/512 Pro...8 GB of RAM? I have to bump up to get more RAM. The minimum was $1700 for an 11-inch with a Pencil. *sigh* So I'm rocking the S9 Ultra. I got it for around a grand...caught a sale. I will say I've always had Samsung Note/S series phones for the S Pen. So being in the same ecosystem is pretty cool for the first time in a long time. And the S Pen has dramatically improved since the first one. Lol. I'm not crying over the switch. I do miss some stuff, but I never used an iPad for business/professional-type stuff. It was for fun and entertainment with a few tasks that needed to be done. If you're making money with an iPad, it's worth it. For my use, I just can't do it. I can't spend $1700 on 11 inches when I know I can get a laptop that's better for that much. That's my heartbroken rant. Maybe next time, Apple. Maybe not. My one and only gripe about Samsung tablets is the apps aren't always optimized for tablets. But I've found plenty that work for my needs.

Buy the m1 brandnew. Even m2 macbooks arent even the best for gaming. If they cant game meaning theyre not the best for overall use

I have the S9+ and it is awesome. Aspect ratio is great for movies and long web pages.
