At 1:34- Lugs the motor at 2k rpm.... "I paid for all the American torque ... Imma use all the American torque".... Just kidding ... great video ... impressive driving too!
2k RPM is not lugging, especially in a V8 Camaro. These things don't lug until < 1.5k. These cars make 375 ft-lb of torque at 2k RPM. Source: I own one.
@@Derangedteddy yeah.. i completely agree... It's just interesting to me how 2k rpm would be well into lugging territory for practically any other motor... But these ls motors make just so much torque barely off idle... Very american!!
@@Derangedteddy Yeah, it'll pull from 1K in most situations and is plenty happy to cruise along at that RPM. 300tq at 1000rpm and it only builds from there. Not that you'd want to do that for performance driving, but it'll climb out of 1K just fine most of the time. It's got mountains of torque behind it.
Very easy to say this sitting in an armchair when it's not your car and your $45,000 to pay over the next six years if you crash it. Do you feel strong, big man? Go sign up for an $800/mo car payment and go throw the collateral around one of the world's most technically-challenging, unforgiving, and notoriously dangerous tracks at triple digit speeds. See how that goes for you.
This made my day dude, awesome.
Nice video! The km threw me off, ha!
You don't have the special Corvette icon for your "low traction" warning on your overlay 😥
Somehow can drive a stick 🔥🔥🔥

Well you post a video mate and go drive on a track. Drag strips do not count.
