    Regarding the flat panel canvas, definitely trim the laminate after all of your presses. It will stick to the paper you line your press with but it will easily trim away with the laminate.

      You could get a bit of a less shiny look if you did the polyacrylic spray or liquid on the canvas instead of the laminate sheet.

    Cut laminate a little bigger. It shrinks when it's heated. Also I have done 350 degrees for 120 seconds with great results. You could compare and see which has better results. If it's the dance result then less time would be ideal.

  • @patholloway2305

    Thank you for the video, in order not to get the white around your canvas, the picture needs to bigger then canvas. Have you thought of printing your picture borderless. If the white is on the picture, there will be white on the canvas. I hope this helps

    • @LeslieIrene
      @LeslieIrene  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not because of the picture actually. I always add a bleed to the design. Someone pointed out that it’s the laminate. I should be cutting the laminate bigger than the canvas, because when you apply heat it kind of shrinks a bit. So on the flat canvas you can kinda see the image on the borders but laminate is didn’t reach those areas, so you can’t see the picture as vibrant as the rest.

  • @crafting562

  • @maryloustaley8150

    Laminate shrinks with heat. Make laminate larger than canvas before heating. Then trim.
