Melissa, this was so much fun to make. Your instructions were spot on. I flew right through it. Only problem I had, I went to use my new super duper glue gun and it sparked and popped. Didn’t even get to use it once. Had to use my old one. Thank you for the excellent instructions!
If selling that though I would get a sheet of (however big the frame) backing and use shallow tack nails to cover the back, looks more complete and professional. But it looks great!!

Instead of removing the canvas just find a piece of wood or some old hardback books that fit in well. It doesn't matter so much on the edges. It still works well. Also you can sublimate straight onto the canvas just don't wash it....
Yes I've done it this way as well, but not if I want a reverse canvas ;)
I sublimate directly onto the canvas and then seal it with Polycrylic. Its great.
I cut out pieces of a cardboard box and stacked them underneath. I didn't have any books the right size, but stacking cardboard works great!
That’s what I was going to do but, My frame has a raised edge around (recessed) maybe an 1/8 inch. So the heat press wouldn’t touch the canvas.
@@wecraftnz polycrylic after? I have put polycrylic on the canvas before sublimating. Does it make the color more vibrant?

I’m so confused about so many things. What’s difference between sublimination and HTV and other like printer inks. I couldn’t find information what’s benefits to have them.

Is there any way these videos can be uploaded at higher quality than 360p? I love your videos, but have a really hard time seeing any detail at the lower quality.
Unfortunately, b/c they are originally done as Facebook Lives, this is the upload quality to TH-cam. Our higher resolution, post-edited videos are all on SilhouetteU.com and include fully edited start to finish videos, software tutorials, with better sound and video quality.
I am trying to sublimate on a canvas tote using sublimating spray coating. I am not having trouble getting the image to transfer. I end up burning my bag. Do you have an information on the temp and time that should be used on this type of material?

I missed the time/temp to press laminate. You said heat press to 400 but press laminate at lower heat than that. 350/60? Thank you.

Well that was weird, only a woman could take a canvas off a stretcher and then use it as a frame ha ha great fun…keep it up very entertaining.
I love your videos. The video quality it super bad when I watch on my smart tv. Any suggestions? A lot of times it is blurred and your voice does not match up at. Please let me know. I cannot imagine why.
All of my videos are originally recorded live from Facebook Live and then uploaded directly to TH-cam that's probably why.
