Thank you all very much for watching and for your patience as this longer video took more time to edit than expected! 😅 Really happy with both the project and video though. I'm trying to push quality over quantity with these current videos I’m working on, but I also want to keep the content coming for all you amazing viewers! 👍
You outdid yourself here brother. Love to see the success of your channel and scale products. Keep up the great work. I actually enjoy having your channel on while I do my own builds, so the long form was great. I'm sure you will get the mechanics worked out.
Pretty hard on yourself dude. This thing looks so good. Rolling with the paint, and just adding some light weathering worked out good. Some of those shots are absolutely beautiful in the end.
One thing my dad told me when I was probably 14, building my first few model cars, fretting over every microscopic detail...." Just remember, nobody has it parked on their nose. If you can't see it at arms length, 99% of people won't see it. I'm sure having a camera 6 or 7 inches away definitely adds to the pressure. But still
What an awesome project!!! Congratulations! 👏 I'm sure you'll be able to sort any issues with this model, like the front-drive, if that's what you set yourself to do! Cheers! 👌💪
Very nice! Making the steering knuckles out of an aluminum extrusion may allow you to make it smaller and more scale. If the inner and outer front axle shafts were forked they may work a bit better. I think three would work well similar to modern cars driveshaft couplers. I noticed that on the Camaro the rear axle torque reaction was backwards. If the motor was to turn clockwise that would be fixed. As far as hitting your target demographic you knocked it out of the park! I used to do car models for contests and I currently do R/C cars. I like my R/C cars to look as scale as possible and oh yeah, they need to move too! Mostly because I am a terrible R/C driver. :)
This is exactly what I meant when I said about a year ago of you building an RC model crawler and I'm glad you finally did it and when you iron out all the kinks I will definitely be buying a chassis kit
You can buy lithium battery rechargeable dog nail trimmers that have a stone tip that also fits the round emery piece's for dremels etc there small light and handy for burr removal or even light carving type work and cheap. I love the work you do and way you explain and edit your videos for people to learn from great work mate 🤟
Thats a really cool build. A lot of really cool ideas went into that. The chrome looks great, what paint did you use to get it to look so good? On the new "curbside" kits without an engine, they come with an underside detail plate that looks like an engine is in there. That might be able to work for the underside detail you were looking for.
You can try to use soft cable housing rubber for alternative universal shafts. Considering that your car don't go really fast and don't use very powerful not fast spinning motors, I figured you could give it a try.
Awesome build! I'm seriously considering getting back into the RC Hobby after watching some of your previous builds. Fun fact, the model didn't include a rear view mirror because AMC Jeep didn't install them on trucks equipped with the louvered back window, blind spots were features back then.
lol Good to know! I'm so used to some of these older kits not always including rear view mirrors, even on passenger cars that should have them. Makes sense though knowing AMC. 😆
Awesome! I recently started in the RC world and one of my first questions was, why are there so many similar models, while Revell for example, has so many nice and different bodies? They aren't robust enough for most RC drivers, but if realism is something you like, it's perfect. You get a real sense of "do not crash it". I hope some day I have the time to get into this in such a way I'm able to build things like this. But that's a long way to go 😁
Do you have a chassis or video of a 1/25 scale Chevy Van RC conversion. There's so many 1/25 van model kits and I really wanna buy one. I was going to use a kyosho MINI-Z as a chassis but turns out it doesn't work out too good. Could tou please do a video on one, amt and Revell do great Chevy van and Ford Ecoline models kits 😊
Nice man! I have an approx 24?25? scale unimog from the 80s that I badly want to rc, but don't want to hack up. Maybe get an scx24 and try to put the body on it. Don't have 3d printers etc.
Wow my first truck was a poser wagon then a jeep j10 lol i was like 11 when i got the power wagon it was a site rig from huge development up the street my dad worked at my third was a f100 stepside that i drove forever i got it in boxes that filled the bed of the truck & the cab was on blocks in an oltimers basement best $600 i ever spent i had it running by the time i got my permit 13 1/2 yrs old in Maine lol 36yrs ago some of my best memories f100 had a 429 Cobra jet with a c6 loved that truck hey cant tell if there a adapter for the rims 🤷♂️ if anyone else would even notice if u didnt say lol great vid👍🔥🔥👏oh that blue was so rare👏
Oh thats what i was going to say get a cheep vape or i find them on the ground all the time they have 3.7v lil round batterys & they li-po real li-po so rechargable smaller ones like cig shaped 1’s are like 5+20-30mm The square 1’s are like 12+50 or around they are verry good for hideing then u could add the engine or at least part of top if u hide batt somewhere😂😂 Happy trails👋👍
Can you please try to make a 1/18 scale model car with a shaving machine motor (180). It operates at 6V and 450mA and has 32.000 RPM so I figured it could be a nice little project and if it turns good, it'll be pretty fast.

Wonderfull just wonderfull work you did make it rc a good build my friend so thank you and have nice weakend bye now.
Amazing RC 4X4 ❤
Your videos are always great! Hope we get to see this in March! ❤
Awesome job on this jeep and especially liked the vintage jeep commercial 👍😃
Do an A-Team van!
A small solder spot on the front springs should fix the issue.
And sounds like it's time to build an indoor off road testing course.
Yes going to try soldering the springs next. I'm not the best at it and it's a small part but I think it will work much better.
That truck is a masterpiece in my opinion…wow bro.

next time use Pledge floor polish for the clear! works just as good and you just simply paint it on with a brush!
What an awesome project!!! Congratulations! 👏 I'm sure you'll be able to sort any issues with this model, like the front-drive, if that's what you set yourself to do! Cheers! 👌💪

This would be a great platform for a 1:25 IH Scout 2 like the one my dad had when I was growing up.
Honcho was my favorite Jeep back then.
This build is top 3 of your builds.
Nice build work
Awesome build. I would of done the jeep from twister
You learned paint does not always play well! Dry times matter. 😁✌️

A really great project. And the truck looks excellent 👍
excited to see more development on this chassis. this build came out really nice, love the old full size jeeps. keep up the awesome work!
Yesss!👌🥰👍👉❤️It came out absolutely stunning! Wow! Amazing details! Great job! 👏 loved it! The twister 🌪️ Jeep pickup!
Very nice and creative, good work! 👍
hell ya love the semi i built mine with working roof, interior, engine bay and head lights that'll be dope to make it rc
What about trying a Humvee as a different test bed too?
So Beautiful RC Jeep My Favourite ❤
Can you 3d print some kind of ball and socket with a few spline and notches in place of the springs?
Have you ever thought about using a 1/24 scalextric or Carrera car?
Soooo cool 🤙 nice job!

Do you have a list of the electronic components used somewhere? It's difficult for me to source from your store where I live.

Hello. FMS has a 1:24 scale Unimog that you should definitely check out.
@@CenReaper. Thank Pal! I know of it, but I so want to make my childhood toy into an RC.
@@christianrambissoon1141 I'm suggesting because you may be able to use the chassis for your project.
@@CenReaper. I'm dumb! That's a good idea. Will investigate wheell-base etc

Have you ever converted a 1: 18 scale diecast to RC?
I've not yet converted any diecast vehicle due to weight.

Sad there is so few views !
What is this esc and receiver?
White table and white model kit don't go together very well
Sir you should invest in a xmods evolution street chassis, and the truck chassis. Would suit your channel very well.
What about trying a Humvee as a different test bed too?
