Now the next challenge is a cabover semi model that has actual fuctional tilt cab while hiding all the electronics Gmc astro or other models would be cool rc conversions
@@MakeItRC maybe next model could hide a small motor within engine block to run fan and driveshaft to simulate scale look , I'm sure watch gears and other smaller metal parts will come in handy for cab lift mechanism
Very cool build! At 6:22 I see your ESC and later you mention how difficult to modulate it is (well, you say modulation is "ok" and coasting is an issue). I would suggest you try a different ESC. I am pretty sure I had this ESC in my 4x4x4 motor grader and it was basically undrivable, including very sudden stop (no coast) at low speed with a standard gear motor. I tried expo and deadband compensation and nothing worked. I switched to another ESC and it was so much better. I can't say for certain it was this exact one, and I'm not at my work bench for the next few days, but maybe try out a different ESC.
Came here for this also. Already have this and a 3rd gen F body RC model in the same scale. All it needs is the FLAG trailer! Black with gold stripes and the Knight chess piece.
The model is missing something on the hood is supposed to be 5 stars on the side and there not there the reason I know this is because my grandfather had a general and please fix the company's mistake it bothers me so much and it will make it more realistic so please fix it
Thanks for watching, and for your patience with getting this project posted! Very happy with how this truck turned out. Stay tuned for more. 👍
Awesome conversion and explanation👍
What a nice work and effort!
This is so detailed, that you took modelism to another level!
What a masterpiece, congrats 👏
The truck turned out awesome, and those old Detroits leaked so much oil they were always grimy.
Nice truck 🚚 can't wait to see part to with the trailer 👍
Dude! That’s freaking cool! Amazing build!
That's pretty cool. You should build a car hall trailer to cart around some of your cars you made 😊
That's sick! Recently found a 1/32 dump truck that's similar to my dad's rig. Smaller scale is cool to drive.
I have this model already. I was just waiting for you to come out with a rc kit. Nice job
Excellent job. Nice weathering
Would love to see a BJ and the Bear Kenworth COE build!!!
Amazing job
Amazing!!! Hello from France
Very nice! Bravo!
Brilliant
Bravo
Of course you got me dreaming again! The possibilities!
Awesome! You're going places! :)
That truck looks awesome

For sure. A cabover truck would be awesome.

hello . great video
Nice. Now we just need a trailer full of Coors. Eastbound and down….

Clicked on this so fast
Amazing 😂😂
This is the same truck that was used in Knight Rider. Make it happen.
Was just going to say to make it a knight rider replica

Image this GMC General/KITT and a Dorsey Trailer as a build? Hmmm Knight rider?
My only problem with this maybe due to photography, but it seems to sag between the battery box and the tanks otherwise it's bang on.
I noticed that too, I think it's mostly because the fuel tanks aren't quite parallel to the chassis. I just eyeballed the placement.

Did anybody else see blood on his hands?
