Just a small sample of all the amazing stuff that’s happening on the forum. The social media format is good for certain things, but not for rc: being able to follow along with a build allows you to learn so much and really appreciate the soul that’s in these builds.

The last Toyota does exist.....we had one! The conversions were done by a company named Sparlingco. Ours was a factory blue and was great back in 82 when there weren't ''Extra Cab'' trucks from the factory. We also had a 80 4x4 pick up with a ''4Runner'' style conversion as well.

The camper Toyota was built for Alaskan pipeline workers as a truck they could sleep in I’ve seen one in person and it blew my mind so I did some research. They are very expensive to get your hands on and now a complete collectors item

Love the last Toyota. The irony of that Hilux, there was a California conversion company back in the late 70's and 80's that built strecthed frame Toyota pickups for work crews. Elsewhere around the world, Toyota sold and still sells crew cab Hilux pickup trucks. We just never got them here in the states. Today you can see them popup on ebay every once in a blue moon. Always wanted to purchase one for myself. Bro, awesome vid!

The stretch toy dually is real cool. I drive a 3/4 scale 1 ton dually flatbed.
I converted it from a Shasta Mini Motorhome. It has 30 inches if stretch In the frame I can see them using the same thing as a base for the prototype build.

Your really long Toyota r\c truck - the real one resides in Imperial Beach California; complete with camper shell.

This is amazing I wonder where do they find all the parts or if everything is 3D printed!

I'm pretty sure I've seen that yellow Toyota dually in real life(1:1) somewhere and I remember seeing another one like it back in the nineties when I lived in Virginia but I think I've seen the truck that was modeled after in California not too long ago.

How would one go about finding information on how to start building scratch builds? I would love to get into this but I haven't a clue even what size styrene to even begin with or anything else. I'm curious if there's a tutorial section somwhere. Thank you

I've done a couple styrene building tutorials, but better than that, head over to the forum. Links are in the description.

Hey Matt, can you tell me which cutting mat you have on your work bench? I need to pick up a new one.

@@scalebuildersguild it looks really handy. I’ve been inspired by your styrene work and the builders on this video to start doing some building. Wish me luck! Lol
