Just a small sample of all the amazing stuff that’s happening on the forum. The social media format is good for certain things, but not for rc: being able to follow along with a build allows you to learn so much and really appreciate the soul that’s in these builds.
Thanks for watching and I totally agree that the forum is perfect for being able to showcase your builds step by step and allows people to follow along and learn!
The last Toyota does exist.....we had one! The conversions were done by a company named Sparlingco. Ours was a factory blue and was great back in 82 when there weren't ''Extra Cab'' trucks from the factory. We also had a 80 4x4 pick up with a ''4Runner'' style conversion as well.
The camper Toyota was built for Alaskan pipeline workers as a truck they could sleep in I’ve seen one in person and it blew my mind so I did some research. They are very expensive to get your hands on and now a complete collectors item
Thanks to this channel for making it bearable being in the machining industry. I am chuffed as you say to have a quality car as my wife blessed me with an axial Capra for Christmas. Happy early new year to you and the family Matt! 👍
What Amazing builds, all you guys are absolute artist at this hobby, hats off to each & every one of you!! I have to admit the last Toyota while the build was absolute perfection & wildy spectacular, it has to be one of the ugliest real world trucks ever designed lol...... Happy New Year Matt, Thanks for all your hard work year round keeping the Hobby running....
Talent, and skill abound with this group of forum members, as in the hobby in it's entirety. Always blown away. Thanks to Matt, and all of the forum members for sharing their awesome projects.
Love the last Toyota. The irony of that Hilux, there was a California conversion company back in the late 70's and 80's that built strecthed frame Toyota pickups for work crews. Elsewhere around the world, Toyota sold and still sells crew cab Hilux pickup trucks. We just never got them here in the states. Today you can see them popup on ebay every once in a blue moon. Always wanted to purchase one for myself. Bro, awesome vid!
Awesome! The landcruisers were def my favourite. The last photos of the long Toyota on the trail looked so real I saw a couple of the builds were using felt for carpets, etc. I recently tried flock on some helicopter seats..what a difference and so easy
The stretch toy dually is real cool. I drive a 3/4 scale 1 ton dually flatbed. I converted it from a Shasta Mini Motorhome. It has 30 inches if stretch In the frame I can see them using the same thing as a base for the prototype build. Hope your holidays went well, have fun.

I owned one of those long Toyota trucks. Had a 22r motor 4wheel drive 5speed. That thing would go through just about anything and was super fun sliding it around on the winter. Mine was blue. Memory flood

Just started my first scale build for class 2. Just started the printing on an F-150 body, still need to find some interior for it may have to design some of it myself. Building off of a RTR Gen cat Gen 9, though all the electronics have been replaced including the motor. As for components I went treal underneath and proline shocks
