There could be a new Structure, the ruined Mansion. It looks old and abandoned, even having Holes in the Roof and Plants growing on the Floor in some Spots
I like a lot of these ideas, but I'm with you on the topic of "painted wood". I think the way that Mojang is doing it by adding different wood colors via "natural" wood types by adding new trees to the game not only makes sense from a gameplay standpoint but it also gives them reasons to add new tree types to the game to fill out existing biomes and/or add new biomes. They will have to take some creative liberties with the newer trees as far as the wood color (adding a Palm tree with green tinted wood for example), but I think that given the fantasy elements of the game this shouldn't be much of a problem even if they have to make up a wood (such as what they did with Warped Wood). For example, I can see them adding a tree type to the End that had a purple wood to go along with the Purpur blocks and Chorus plants, so its not much of a stretch to get more wood color variation into the game over time. I also really like the idea of using Banner Patterns for Carved Pumpkins. Kudos to whomever came up with that.
Pale garden made me think of hollow knight, which game me an idea. Introducing, my new hypothetical plant, pale brambles! Think of a sort of berry-less sweetberry bush, with little spikes, and is a metallic grey color. It would mine fastest with a sword, and you move at cobweb speeds through it, all the while taking damage. Perhaps they only bloom at night, perhaps not, but here is where this block shines the most: you are in the woods, at night, being chased by the creaking, but as you step away, keeping your eyes on the beast, you get caught in brambles! What do you do, risk turning around and breaking them, or try pulling yourself out? (Also they would look good as barbed wire for builds :3)
Strongly agree they should add white pumpkins. I also think there should be varied sized pumpkins, along with carving designs especially since Halloween is coming up
Imagine if you could “cure” a creaking heart like a zombie villager, and it becomes something that reduces any damage you take when you’re near the radius of it (So pretty much an early to middle game version of a beacon)
1:58 the chrysanthemum is 3 blocks tall and has those flowers because it’s meant to look like a creaking. The eyes match the flowers. It would keep you on edge even when there isn’t a creaking there.
To your point at 3:39 with colored chest of each type of wood, they also should add that with wooden tools, pickaxes, swords, shovels, axes, bows, sticks, fishing rods, and shields
I think that a haunted mansion structure that generates in the pale garden that is infested with creaking hearts that spawns creakings, new pale garden variants of zombies, skeletons, and spiders, and maybe even ghosts and wraiths, would be cool. I don’t think that the haunted mansion should be an exact copy of the woodland mansion with it instead being a bit gothic to fit with the creepy and eerie atmosphere of the pale garden, but I think that it should be the same size as the woodland mansion. I also have the idea of a haunted house structure that generates in the pale garden which would be a smaller and more common version of the haunted mansion. Another idea I have is that spider infested caves should generate underneath dark forests with there being a variant of spider infested caves that only generates underneath pale gardens and that has pale garden variants of spiders instead of normal spiders.
Having dyed/painted wood, will always be a dream of mine. However the argument about this feature, cluttering the creative inventory is disproven by the existence of dyed leather/wolf armor. Having a specific kind of wood that would be able to be dyeable would be a very desirable treasure for builders. Big plus if it is vertical specific planks.
Creaking hearts should grow a special item at night which you can collect to turn any mob into wood. You could then collect the wooden mob and use them as a statue or transport them to where you want and strip them back into their normal form.
What if placing a creaking heart near a sapling (from any tree) would turn that tree into a Pale version - comprised of Pale wood and leaves from the Pale oak but in the shape of the tree the sapling would normally grow into. (I'm sure I could have explained this easier lol)
Love the idea!!! Maybe this passive creaking takes on the appearance of the trees in the biome it's placed in, like an extra tall spruce creaking, or a fiery crimson creaking
I Hate how none of my posts on reddit ever get any traction anymore. I had a ton of really good ideas and drew illustrations to demonstrate them but it only got 98 upvotes on the official MC subreddit... I wish people could see some of my ideas like the abandoned pale village having gravel paths with sus gravel and new sherds
White pumpkin 🎃 that hides you from the creaking and stained pale wood would be sick. Stained pale wood with that pastle or spring faded hues would be LEGENDARY for cottage core buildings.
Some other cool ideas I’ve collected from either other people or myself are: (Also some of these have already been said in the vid): The Creaking - maybe make it so that it has several models, so that each one is slightly different and more interesting, - also different heights, widths, more/less branches, bent different ways, etc… Maybe make it be able to crawl, Maybe make the walking animation creepier, Maybe a bit faster?, Maybe during the day you can have creaking but at a long distance, but if it is seen for 5seconds or got within a certain distance of it disappears, Maybe make the disappear animation a bit slower, when you break the heart, More root-y at the ends of the hands?, More moss, Pale Garden - maybe change tree shape a bit, so that it is more like the sapling, Maybe make it so that stuff grown their (plants) look pale even when you remove but plants not grown there look green, so builders can have a choice for builds, Maybe Add denser fog at night, and lighter fog in day?, Maybe have water drops from plants in morning, eg. As dew drops from the fog, Some more unique plants, Maybe some new structure, eg. A maze, or haunted house, and maybe if possible it will generate at night and then disappear in daytime, also if it is a maze then it can procedurally generate a new one each time, White pumpkins can spawn there - storymode reference, Less mobs in general, maybe no hostile ones?, Also mobs are slightly pale looking, though not entirely, A flower similar to spore blossom but with grey, ashy particles like what is in basalt deltas, Add fireflies, please, Maybe some random structure looking things like those mossy cobblestone blobs in large taigas, eg. A stone staircase to nowhere, or a random well, Abandoned villages will spawn sometimes in them, Some smallish bush, similar to sweetberries, maybe nightshade berries? Maybe some kind of that moss except which traps mobs, eg. Like cobwebs, but not as sticky, Have the caves below it also creepy-ish with moss, Have lots of tall grasses, to obscure stuff, Maybe add crows?, Maybe something that if you trigger will spawn a creaking day or night, like with the shriekers and the warden, Taller trees + denser canopy?, more like willow trees), More plants, eg. The wall mushrooms, Add owls, Creaking Heart - maybe spread the pale moss onto nearby grass blocks and roofs,
I think the pale garden should be foggy and torches get blown out when you are in there, which creates a more spooky atmosphere, the vines that look like the creaking are cool because in the night it’d be hard to tell if it’s a creaking or just the vines. Also there really should be a unique structure for the pale garden to make people go for the reward.
i love the idea of beng able to have dyed wood!! it could e treated like leather armour. you dont have all the colors in the creative inventory but you can still dye it any color, i think thatd be a easier work around then putting a bunch of new varities of wood colors in the inventory.
A possible solution to the dyed planks would be to just add paint. You have to place a white plank before painting it, each block has to be painted individually once placed. Once you mine that painted block, it drops a white plank and a "dried paint" item that can be reused. Would also be a neat additional function for the brush! And would solve the issue of having hundreds of new items in inventories or the creative menu. Only having the white planks be paintable would also be a huuuuge incentive to go to the pale garden more often,
We can just have it so the dyed blocks don't have inventory things and just store the dyed property using nbt data like with banners, and you just combine the wood and the dye in a crafting table or dyed water cauldron.
I like the idea of there being a village in the pale garden but with inverted odds of it being abandoned so theres a chance of finding a hold out in the garden
If White Pumpkins are added into Minecraft, I would be cosplaying as the White Pumpkin from Minecraft Story Mode in Minecraft (me wearing blue leather armor)
Suggestion: Cherry Blosson 🌸 Creaking🌸 When you sandwich the Creaking Heart between different woods, it should spawn a variant Creaking. Cherry Creaking could drop petals behind it. Crimson Forest Creaking could be a light source that follows you but doesn't attack?
differing woods on chests (and barrels) would be amazing and would legitimately shift the way we think about item storage organization. And renaming the banner patterns to Stencils is a good idea! They could work on banners ofc, pumpkins, beds... I'm sure there's more
Hey Toycat! I just my longboi yesterday!! :D Funny story, I handed him my little sister and she tripped and he landed in some ketchup… he’s fine and ketchup free now tho
Mansion variant: Haunted Mansion- spawns in pale gardens with several creaking hearts hidden amongst its rooms. The mansion has pillagers still but far fewer and looks more rundown, during day itd be like a normal mansion with a new aesthetic but at night you'd move through whilst hearing pillagers dying to the creaking
An abandoned greenhouse, or at the centre of a mausoleum to make a garden of remembrance. I don't think mojang will ok grave robbing...but a looting a haunted mausoleum before it gets dark would be awesome.
the pale mansion with even paler/creakified illagers and an evoker that drops a totem that teleports you on death to a random location within 2k blocks or something. risky but potentially even safer than a regular totem unless you tp to an outpost or a lava pit
Since you've been talking about the wood sets and potential items from them, what about a Creaking Shield? It could act in sync with another item you need for it, such as a chestplate or helmet. Shield takes the hit and the helmet would instead take the durability hit of it, making the shield keep working and unbreakable till the helmet/chestplate break. Without the armor the shield should be worse than a normal shield for balance. I came up with this due to how the creaking heart and the creaking work in tandem with one another so it could work with equipment too.
Seeing as Mojang seems very intent on constantly adding new wood variations every update, I highly doubt we will ever get dyed planks. Within the past few years they’ve given us blue, purple, red, yellow, pink, and now white and I see them continuing to give us more and more over the years. They’re trying to give us all the different colors as different types of wood from different kinds of trees to encourage exploration, rather than letting us just craft any plank with dye to color it. All the other ideas are so painfully obvious im honestly shocked they arent being officially added
I don't know if anyone else has said this yet, but finally being able to have a get white pumpkins reminds me of Minecraft Story Mode's The White Pumpkin.
@ibxtoycat What if Mojang added a “Calibrated Creaking Heart” of sorts where a player could place that block, and be able to spawn a creaking without it attacking them. Furthermore, perhaps it wouldn’t attack players but attack mobs at night. Overall, it’s an idea that I believe has so much potential and really can provide a major purpose to the creaking heart, as well as a big reason to visit a Pale Garden
Instead of dyed planks we should get more vibrant wood types, a green olive or cactus wood set or a purple end woodset would be so much better than just dyed planks
Scary ideas i really want in this update is -add woodland mansion pale -add vampire -add werewolf -add grim reaper -add graveyard -add pale cave -add bucket of blood -add bottle of blood -add weapon scythe -add fog in pale garden -add abondened village in pale garden -add all mob heads
Since the pale garden is a dead roofed forest, that makes it have a unique history. An archaeology structure for the pale gardens to represent that would be super cool.
Out of all the suggestions, I really really liked the idea of Pale Garden being a cave biome imstead, and not only would it be more creepy, it would also scientifically makes sense, since sunlight doesnt reach on insides of the cave, chlorophyll (a factor that makes plants green + absorbs light) makes it obsolete and useless to the plants, making them pale and white, and with that, they should make an entirely new ecosystem with this biome just like with deep dark and lush caves :')) but i guess I'm just dreaming at this point
Maybe instead of putting the pale garden underground, we could make a new biome called the Pale Grotto, a lush cave overcome by the same influence affecting the pale gardens. It would only generate under or near pale gardens, making it quite rare, and would resemble a lush cave, but with pale moss instead of regular. Glowberries could get a new variant, and azaeleas could be replaced by a new tree, the pale willow, which has a sokid sapling like azalea, orange flowers, and can generate fully grown eith creaking hearts in the grotto. The tropical fish could be replaced with a monotone ghost fish, and axolotols whould be replaced by their cousing the olm.
If white pumpkins are going to be added to the pale garden, and you can carve them then place them on your head, then it would explain why Phil doesn't like the carved orange variant. Because as far as Phil is concerned the orange pumpkin is not part of the garden but the white one is.
Personally, love to have a pale cabin structure instead of a mansion. It would help set it apart from the dark oak forest and its small size would help maintain the eerie feeling of being in the pale garden instead of looming over it.
I love that the Creaking is something players can indirectly spawn (like a golem) but not actually have controll over. It will happily murder any player. I do think Mojang upping the horror element is really cool. I have an insane idea though. The Guardian hinders mining. The Warden, seeing. The Wither, fighting. What if - the aura from a Creaking Heart prevented the placing of blocks and entities like boats within a radius around it... Enabling and Disabling the hearts could then be used to discourage cheating in puzzles and (combined with the other mobs mentioned) enable "Adventure Mode" for a given minigame.
People say that the White Pumpkin should come to Minecraft as a tribute to Story Mode, but the real thing from Story Mode that needs to be in the actual game is this: "Gary may seem scary, but he's a swell guy" "Sally dillie-dallies, give her credit, she tries" "They might look the same to the untrained eye...; "But that's a lie, so I say..." "Uh... I can't say it!" "I haven't had luck with humans," "They can be so unkind" "But lend a hand to an Enderman" "Soon you'll find you have a Friender-man!" "As long as you never look them in the eye" "You'll never have to say..." "Oh, this is proving difficult..." "What's The End, if not a new beginning?" "Sunset precedes, sunrise" "And so I say, with tears in my eyes..." "Farewell!" "What is it? The singing or the dancing? Ew, it's both, isn't it...?"
What i want is a special interaction between the creaking heart and sniffer egg. Or maybe pale moss and sniffer egg. Like placing sniffer egg on moss speeds it up, maybe placing it on pale moss prevents it from ever hatching and placing it on creaking heart ends up making it hatch into a skeletal sniffer or a pale sniffer which in turn would dig up different varieties of plants like the chrysanthemum or whatever was mentioned in the video
I feel like the creaking heart really looks like it has sap in it, so maybe “creaking sap” could be an interesting substance you could extract to make something
Mangrove plank color is kinda realistic. Mangrove trees do have a dark red color under the bark, though their trunks are extremely thin and not viable for building.
There is one use for the creaking that someone found. A creaking can be moved of range of its heart and persist using render distance trickery. It even survives in the daytime using this method. Detecting the creaking despawning (after using an ender pearl chunk loader on it) can make a long-distance signal, as that way the creaking will remain until someone loads the chunk with the heart (or the person who loaded the creaking logs off).
Lets hope the Pumpkin doesn't start murdering people over a Flint n Steel

I do know that illagers run from Creakings- definitely some interesting lore tidbit there
I like a lot of these ideas, but I'm with you on the topic of "painted wood".
White pumpkins or gourds when worn by players could also have a special effect, such as the creaking ignoring them, etc...
Yes please. I need a grey Chest, so I can build a Munsters or Adams Family Style House there that's completely monochrome
(Also they would look good as barbed wire for builds :3)
colored chests NEED to happen like for realz
It looks Goofy
Same with crafting tables imo
"one of them is a twink, one off them is a...."
How can you not Finish that sentence!?
Is the warden a bear ?a gym bro? We need to know!
Hunk
Twunk
@@noctisthedevious I feel so out of touch, what even is that?
This is otters all over again
Anyways Warden is a bear
Warden is a himbo
Strongly agree they should add white pumpkins. I also think there should be varied sized pumpkins, along with carving designs especially since Halloween is coming up
Imagine if you could “cure” a creaking heart like a zombie villager, and it becomes something that reduces any damage you take when you’re near the radius of it (So pretty much an early to middle game version of a beacon)
And not hostile creaking
1:58 the chrysanthemum is 3 blocks tall and has those flowers because it’s meant to look like a creaking. The eyes match the flowers. It would keep you on edge even when there isn’t a creaking there.
To your point at 3:39 with colored chest of each type of wood, they also should add that with wooden tools, pickaxes, swords, shovels, axes, bows, sticks, fishing rods, and shields
I like that the Pale Garden is on the surface. It's so ominous and serene and the day time and it's the perfect vibe.
🤔 I really hope Rain there will also be grey and of course the normal Water too
9:29 The whole point of the Pale Garden is that it feels out of place and unsettling during the day, then creepy at night.
12:50 shirtless Toycat. Definitivly not expected lol.
(I'm sure I could have explained this easier lol)
how about a recipe to make a "purified creaking heart" which spawns a passive creaking near it, and acts as a light source?
Or like a golem that attacks hostile mobs
Love the idea!!! Maybe this passive creaking takes on the appearance of the trees in the biome it's placed in, like an extra tall spruce creaking, or a fiery crimson creaking
with the white pumpkin, I feel like the perfect name would be Pale Gourd or something to that extent.
No.
Now you can play as the White Pumpkin (reference from Minecraft Story Mode [R.I.P])
White pumpkin 🎃 that hides you from the creaking and stained pale wood would be sick. Stained pale wood with that pastle or spring faded hues would be LEGENDARY for cottage core buildings.
Some other cool ideas I’ve collected from either other people or myself are:
(Also some of these have already been said in the vid):
The Creaking -
maybe make it so that it has several models, so that each one is slightly different and more interesting, - also different heights, widths, more/less branches, bent different ways, etc…
Maybe make it be able to crawl,
Maybe make the walking animation creepier,
Maybe a bit faster?,
Maybe during the day you can have creaking but at a long distance, but if it is seen for 5seconds or got within a certain distance of it disappears,
Maybe make the disappear animation a bit slower, when you break the heart,
More root-y at the ends of the hands?,
More moss,
Pale Garden -
maybe change tree shape a bit, so that it is more like the sapling,
Maybe make it so that stuff grown their (plants) look pale even when you remove but plants not grown there look green, so builders can have a choice for builds,
Maybe Add denser fog at night, and lighter fog in day?,
Maybe have water drops from plants in morning, eg. As dew drops from the fog,
Some more unique plants,
Maybe some new structure, eg. A maze, or haunted house, and maybe if possible it will generate at night and then disappear in daytime, also if it is a maze then it can procedurally generate a new one each time,
White pumpkins can spawn there - storymode reference,
Less mobs in general, maybe no hostile ones?,
Also mobs are slightly pale looking, though not entirely,
A flower similar to spore blossom but with grey, ashy particles like what is in basalt deltas,
Add fireflies, please,
Maybe some random structure looking things like those mossy cobblestone blobs in large taigas, eg. A stone staircase to nowhere, or a random well,
Abandoned villages will spawn sometimes in them,
Some smallish bush, similar to sweetberries, maybe nightshade berries?
Maybe some kind of that moss except which traps mobs, eg. Like cobwebs, but not as sticky,
Have the caves below it also creepy-ish with moss,
Have lots of tall grasses, to obscure stuff,
Maybe add crows?,
Maybe something that if you trigger will spawn a creaking day or night, like with the shriekers and the warden,
Taller trees + denser canopy?, more like willow trees),
More plants, eg. The wall mushrooms,
Add owls,
Creaking Heart -
maybe spread the pale moss onto nearby grass blocks and roofs,
I think the pale garden should be foggy and torches get blown out when you are in there, which creates a more spooky atmosphere, the vines that look like the creaking are cool because in the night it’d be hard to tell if it’s a creaking or just the vines.
Only having the white planks be paintable would also be a huuuuge incentive to go to the pale garden more often,
Pleaaaaseee 😭😭
Minecraft story mode????
some people are making a story mode game i think it’s called minecraft story mode the amulet trailer on youtube
White pumpkins? Hmmm SOUNDS LIKE A REFERENCE TO MCSM!! :0
I want custom paintings and a texture pack with 2 moons and a blue/green flint-n-steal
Funny story, I handed him my little sister and she tripped and he landed in some ketchup… he’s fine and ketchup free now tho
Mansion variant:
Haunted Mansion- spawns in pale gardens with several creaking hearts hidden amongst its rooms. The mansion has pillagers still but far fewer and looks more rundown, during day itd be like a normal mansion with a new aesthetic but at night you'd move through whilst hearing pillagers dying to the creaking
Absolutely cannot get enough of toycat discussing updates in random places, need more of that
6:37 Honestly that idea would be sick.
I feel there should have been a greenhouse with a giant tree inside, and maybe a upgrade to the shield since you cannot kill the creaking
An abandoned greenhouse, or at the centre of a mausoleum to make a garden of remembrance.
I don't think mojang will ok grave robbing...but a looting a haunted mausoleum before it gets dark would be awesome.
Sounds like a nice Idea. Would let it feel way more like a abandoned and overgrown Garden
I really like your idea for growing trees with creaking hearts. It’s kinda like how bees nests generate on trees only if they’re next to a flower.
For the dyeable planks you could make it like the dyeable leather armor were in creative you have to do it manually in creative
the pale mansion with even paler/creakified illagers and an evoker that drops a totem that teleports you on death to a random location within 2k blocks or something. risky but potentially even safer than a regular totem unless you tp to an outpost or a lava pit
Introducing: The Crunching! “yesn’t” :o :o :o
It will drop Cereal😂

Been waiting on custom chests for ages. Easier to colour coordinate than use signs
WHITE Pumpkin
Minecraft story mode reference
Since you've been talking about the wood sets and potential items from them, what about a Creaking Shield?
It could act in sync with another item you need for it, such as a chestplate or helmet.
Shield takes the hit and the helmet would instead take the durability hit of it, making the shield keep working and unbreakable till the helmet/chestplate break. Without the armor the shield should be worse than a normal shield for balance.
I came up with this due to how the creaking heart and the creaking work in tandem with one another so it could work with equipment too.
Idea
Make the creaking eyes don't glow but when it is close enough it will glow back
This can make the creaking camouflage
White pumpkins please.
Some great ideas, agree dyed wood seems excessive but would like coloured chests. Also my long boi arrived ❤😊
I think there needs to be a garden temple in the pale garden.
And I do agree it should have been a cave biome.
I love pumpkins, so the news of white pumpkins existing is making me tweak
@ibxtoycat What if Mojang added a “Calibrated Creaking Heart” of sorts where a player could place that block, and be able to spawn a creaking without it attacking them. Furthermore, perhaps it wouldn’t attack players but attack mobs at night.
Overall, it’s an idea that I believe has so much potential and really can provide a major purpose to the creaking heart, as well as a big reason to visit a Pale Garden
Instead of dyed planks we should get more vibrant wood types, a green olive or cactus wood set or a purple end woodset would be so much better than just dyed planks
Scary ideas i really want in this update is
-add woodland mansion pale
-add vampire
-add werewolf
-add grim reaper
-add graveyard
-add pale cave
-add bucket of blood
-add bottle of blood
-add weapon scythe
-add fog in pale garden
-add abondened village in pale garden
-add all mob heads
The Daylight sensor does not require sunlight if you interact with it it switches to night mode it does need sky access
Ah the name “white pumpkin” haven’t heard that name in years
Since the pale garden is a dead roofed forest, that makes it have a unique history. An archaeology structure for the pale gardens to represent that would be super cool.
love how much he stumbles over his words in the section about the ship
It is the first Minecraft story mode block to be added in the original game
@@Wardenhd-z6i Would be. White pumpkins aren't added *yet.*
@@wariodude128 we will wait untill the next snapshot add the white pumpkins
Personally, love to have a pale cabin structure instead of a mansion. It would help set it apart from the dark oak forest and its small size would help maintain the eerie feeling of being in the pale garden instead of looming over it.
Toycat pronouncing Chrysanthemum is the highlight of my day
It made me shiver
Missed opportunity to allow the pale garden biome to host albino variants like white axolotls or pale frogs etc.
minecraft trys to add horror even if the biggest scare factor is terror
The kid in me needs the white pumpkins. I love minecraft story mode sm
Possibly a pale parrot that's skeletal like the skeleton horse, it could also only spawn at night.
People say that the White Pumpkin should come to Minecraft as a tribute to Story Mode, but the real thing from Story Mode that needs to be in the actual game is this:
"Gary may seem scary, but he's a swell guy"
"Sally dillie-dallies, give her credit, she tries"
"They might look the same to the untrained eye...;
"But that's a lie, so I say..."
"Uh... I can't say it!"
"I haven't had luck with humans,"
"They can be so unkind"
"But lend a hand to an Enderman"
"Soon you'll find you have a Friender-man!"
"As long as you never look them in the eye"
"You'll never have to say..."
"Oh, this is proving difficult..."
"What's The End, if not a new beginning?"
"Sunset precedes, sunrise"
"And so I say, with tears in my eyes..."
"Farewell!"
"What is it? The singing or the dancing? Ew, it's both, isn't it...?"
REAL
Ooooh make a variant of the lush caves made with pale moss and gravel(?) to generate below pale gardens. Roots could have hearts throughout the cave.
I want a little shack to spawn in the pale gardens
What if the pumpkins had a carving on every side
Maybe the white pumpkins could give you a night vision effect?
i'd argue dyed wood would be an equivalent to painted wood in the real world, which is something i've seen people hoping for for a while
What i want is a special interaction between the creaking heart and sniffer egg.
White pumpkins? So... Minecraft story mode chapter 6?
I feel like the creaking heart really looks like it has sap in it, so maybe “creaking sap” could be an interesting substance you could extract to make something
White Pumpkins? MANSIONS???
THEY DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH CALICO CATS, DO THEY???
I just realized THE WARDEN AND CREAKING ARE SENSORY MOBS THE WARDEN FOR HEARING AND CREAKING FOR SEEING
