Great video. I have recently started buying PS1 games as I don't have that many. Last week I bought Tomb Raider 3, Tomb Raider The last Revelation and Tomb Raider Chronicles. I am also waiting for Tomb Raider 2 to come through the post. The Medieval games are brilliant. I used to love playing the second one. Fantastic channel.

Great video Gemma. The PS1 is an awesome console, with an amazing library of games. Many series that made what the Playstation is today. Like Metal Gear Solid,Sypro and Crash Bandicoot,Final Fantasy,Silent Hill,Resident Evil,Twisted Metal,Syphon Filter,Tony Hawk Pro Skater,Tomb Raider,etc. The list goes on and on.I played most of the games you mentioned, unfortunately a lot of them I don't own any more.Hopefully one day I can add them back into the collection.Take care.Have an Awesome Day!!! :)

I'm glad to see Silent Hill in this list, I played it couple of hours ago. Year was 2000 and back then my number 1 game was Metal Gear Solid, I tried to play it these days, but I had lost all my skills. I'm currently playing Final Fantasy 8 and if you learn junction system, it becomes fun game. I paid attention to learn junction system and all bosses are now easier in FF8.

I would add Dino Crisis, Vagrant Story, Alundra, RE2 and 3, Ridge Racer type 4, I would love to own all these games again

Just started picking up Japan region PS1 games. Mainly fighting games.
Surely Kurushi needs to be on this list. Still a seriously good puzzle game to this day. Super rare too ;)

Resident evil 1,2,and 3 is amazing. I play to beat one of them probably every 6 months. Own them for multiple systems

Can’t disagree with any of your choices Gemma. All great games which may not stand up graphics wise to todays games, but more than hold their own playability-wise. Great choices and great video.
Fear Effect 1 and 2 are some classics not many people have in their collections.
I have to mention X2! And if you have an Amiga, Project X!

I got Gran Turismo and Crash Bandicoot with my first PS1. However I foolishly broke Gran Turismo with a back scratcher. I somehow got the disk over the back scratcher spine and it fell to the end and split the disc in half. I rebought it as an adult, and I also now have Gran Turismo 2. I assume neither of them need their backs scratched, as they are compact discs. And my little sister stepped on my Spyro the Dragon disc. And I broke Crash Bandicoot 2 because it wouldn't work anymore.

I wasn't a fan of platform games or Tomb Raider my kind of games was Resident Evil Silent Hill Street Fighter ex plus alpha Street Fighter Alpha from 1 to 2 was not too fond on number three Mortal Kombat 4 and the one made in Wales kudelka

OK, would take resident evil off the list, as its better on the game cube and is on so many consoles, it not even the best on the ps1, the pc version was better.
As for Silent hill it aged better as theres a lot more melee, tank controls just worked best with melee.
So expensive 🙄
PSX best console, better than ps4,5,6
No Spyro 1 and 2, no TR3 and 4. No Resident evil 2 and 3. No mission impossible and no Tekken 3. What kind of crappy compilation is that?
