Spearfishing huge Yellowfin Tuna Cape Town South Africa

The canyon areas off Cape Point are home to some of the largest Yellowfin Tuna in the world. Deep drop offs from 600m to 1100m with trawlers and longline fleets all forming the perfect conditions for these fish as well as Bluefin Tuna, Albacore and Marlin at certain times of the year. The average size Tuna ranges from 50kg to 100kg. The entire experience of searching for gamefish while greater albertros soar overhead and looking at the purple clear waters makes it so unique to South Africa.
