Gee whiz Graham - I was the General Manager of Suzuki Australia in the 2000's and this Swift was the turning point for Suzuki in Australia. I was close to the development team in Japan and remember their plans to target Europe with this car. Hence its handles well and its fun to drive and, of course its build in Japan so it has great build quality. We hardly spent anything on warranty. I have a Swift because it my reminds of a great time in my automotive career. they are still fun to drive......
Yeah,my daughter n son have both owned a couple of these....nothing much ever seemed to go wrong with them n were sold fast. Good little city cars!@@xacoupeguy
I'm hearing you Graham. Went to SA for the HR nationals, got back to NSW and immediately fell sick. Recovered for a week but crook again! Not well enough to work on cars yet. Covid neg. You start to get sick of being sick! Hope you recover quickly. Always good to see a different type of project! Great to hear the EJ is getting painted!
I’ve done a couple of these, more fun to drive than expected. Quick tip, some new gloss black vinyl wrap over the faded A & B pillar trims makes a huge difference.
Good luck with the car flipping idea Graeme hope it works out for you This wog going around is a bugger I think I have had it now on and off for at least 4 weeks and it’s still hanging on I have given up on having a project now and just focus on my work and I hope to spend my money on small holidays

Looks like a nice quick job, you should have it up for sale very soon!
Hope you're feeling flash again soon, Flash! Nice little runner, great fun in a manual.
There are some gems in all those nuggets in the auctions.

Yeah bro that sickness went through our place
Cool to see the wagon sold
Now to the Suzuki that should be a good flip
Take it easy mate 👍
Allegedly the automatics are more desirable these days and apparently sell quicker from a fellow I know who has been buying for a while
Suzuki Swift
I must admit, I prefer manual myself. That's just me, but that's okay. We are all different.
Keep up a good content, buddy.

What happened to the EJ???
It's called cash flow 😊
Tough time to sell cars right now. Good time to buy cars to keep.
@paulcoote3094 little buzz boxes are about the only cars selling currently
I'm a bit confused about that right off or not stuff. Can u say how much u got for the XA?
i wont be saying on here, but well under what it was worth.
Getting old and don't pull good dollars anymore , but if it was cheap maybe
@@xacoupeguy There's an old saying , it's only worth what u can get for it.
