I mean after Roadkill did a kart-car out of one of these I was always wondered what else could be done with the platform. Along came Cleet with Leroy which was a C5 but it certainly consolidated the wonder of the Vette package. I have a C3 and I'm starting to wonder what the potential is there as well. Maybe a 4.2 from a trailblazer with a turbo for some ameri-barra inline 6 goodness? Who knows, but one thing I know is that projects like this front-run a lot of cool day dreams. Hey by the way, I think you said the trans was a ZF, is that what the CD from a Nissan 350z is? Would be great if you guys did a video detailing what trans options you have with what adapters for what engines that Drift HQ has available.
I love this build. I want to know what y’all think of the van steel coil overs. I’m thinking about them for my 96. The wheels are awesome. I’d suggest getting the vette2vette brace as well for keeping the car as rigid as possible too. Especially if you take the top off.
We used a self centering shifter from coolerworx. took the stock shifter linkage and cut one end off, cut it to length and welded it back together. Bingo bango bongo 🤘🏼

The zf is the manual out of the bmw either from a 330 or m3 can handle up to 650-700whp no problem if you aren’t a dog on it

I got the gas guage, temp guage and tach working, speedo was originally a cable so going to be interesting to try and get that going as well
