  • Peckham Town FC are a community club. In every sense of the word. From free space at Peckham Rye to their very own Menace Arena. But the journey hasn't been easy. Anyone from south London will tell you that people from south of the river are special, and the volunteers that make up Peckham Town are no different. A football club for the community built by the community. It doesn't get any better than that.

Over the past 3 years I've been starting to go to lower league football in London and around the UK. Can't get tickets for the team I support - so this is how I can watch the game. The passion at the lower levels and the community is inspiring. This video captures all of that.

This is beautiful, hearing Bryan speak with such passion of his dream turning into reality, it just brought me to tears man.
I really hope they can move a couple of divisions up and play in the FA Cup one day. The Menace have a new fan from Barcelona.

COPA90 Stories honestly does so much for football… The content they develop and publish on TH-cam is FAR better than other football channels - especially those channels who solely focus on the uber rich players and clubs.
They shine a light on what makes football truly great.

Bryan, Mary and the club are an inspiration.
It's what football should be about, what it was built on and lost over the years.
Much luck and success to Peckham Town.

The rest of the football world admires the support lower league football gets in the U.K. They may have the richest top division ever seen in world football, but clubs like Peckham are the foundations the whole English football pyramid is built upon. It's all down to volunteers who do what they do for the love of their community and for the love of the game.

The people are different, everything! Love Peckham and the people man, will go down to support the team at some point! Goodluck Peckham Town FC.

I have played there before and i am glad to have had the opportunity to be part of Peckham Town’s Journey. One thing about this club i realised was the reliance on volunteers who came from busy lives, I remember Alex Scott (Former Arsenal, England Women’s and a current TV presenter, she would come down and help out with sessions which at the point we probably didn’t think much of it but I m hope all the Volunteers at this club get the recognition they deserve. Diversity was always a significant element in the club’s operations
