- When Jude Bellingham, for many the world’s most talented teenager, signed for Real Madrid, for many the world's greatest club, no one, not even perhaps Jude himself, could have envisaged the start he would make.
The picture perfect debut away to Athletic Bilbao, arms wide open to the world, instant hero status. And we were there to capture it all.
It may be early days, but his move could signal the start of a renaissance, not just for Real Madrid but for LALIGA as whole. So now, on the eve of his Bernabéu bow, here is the story of his journey. Welcome to the Jude Bellingham Era.

What amazes me about this young man is how he adapts to any situation with such confidence. He knows he belongs as this level and he just oozes confidence. By the 2026 world cup, I believe he will be the captain of England.
I believe he’ll probably not just be the captain but by 2028 mabye be one of Englands best ever players and be miles infront of that Garrard lampard, scholes debate
100% I was a little concerned about how he’d deal with such a big price tag and the expectations it brings but he’s not only living up to the hype, he’s surpassing it.

Carlo Ancelotti is directly responsible for us seeing this great Bellingham. In the first press conference that the coach gave after Bellingham had signed for Real Madrid he said: Bellingham is an outstanding player and we must modify the structure of the team to find his best position. We are all seeing the result and the freedom that Carleto gives him on the field makes him even a better player. It is no small thing to change the structure of a team with which you have won everything to bring in a 19-year-old player if you have not seen something very special in him. There is no doubt that Jud is a special player, he has great football talent, he is physically gifted and the most surprising of all is his personality. I am a lifelong fan of Real Madrid and I have seen many top and experienced players fall apart like sugar because of the pressure of seeing themselves at the Bernabeu in the white shirt. This boy's shirt doesn't bother him at all, he enjoys the pressure and demands, he has a self-confidence that is very difficult to find. The Madrid fans love him and he is going to become the leader on the field and the image of the Club to the world. He is very intelligent, educated, calm, committed and has declared his love for Real Madrid, he is the perfect player.
When I first introduced to Bellingham was when he played at Dortmund, there is something about him I don't know how to use word to describe.

I was lucky to get to one England world cup match in Qatar and Bellingham was head and shoulders the best England player. Birmingham can be rightly proud of the player they gave a chance to.

Mate, I remember somebody at the club saying the whole of Europe (scouts) were there (to watch Bellingham) on a regular basis. They didn't miss out, United had him at the club to look around but he chose Dortmund.

It's December of 2023 and Jude Bellingham is greatly exceeding all expectations. Scoring and assisting in almost every game, being everywhere and improving every play, he's become the key player in Real Madrid in just a couple of months. As Ancelotti said, he's a 20 year old that plays like he had the experience of a 35 year old player. And he's learning even more from some of the best midfielders there are (Modric and Kroos). I think we are looking at the player of this generation and possibly multiple Balon d'Or winner. Great video and great get from Madrid.

When it comes to football you couldn't find more opposites than a little club like Birmingham, a club that has won next to nothing and Madrid that repeatedly win everything. One that has support from a small quarter of their city to one that has fans all over the world, one that hasn't a pot to piss in, the other an endless supply of money. Jude has done unbelievably to make the transition in such a short time. He's the Cinderella of football.
Real Madrid is a members' club with no other sources of funding than those arising from its sporting activities: ticket sales, television rights, merchandise, and player transfers (its youth academy, 'La Fábrica,' is the leading producer of elite players in all of Europe). Nevertheless, it is a historically well-managed club, first under Bernabéu and later under Pérez (with some more questionable presidents in between).
They are not an oil club like City or PSG.
