How’s it khans fault here? Check the stats, murder rates under boris Johnson were double what they are under khan. And khan managed that with less police force than boris did too. This is a social problem that one mayor cannot fix.

I’m America if your crime is gang related it’s an enforcement meaning extra few years in prison, mask era few years in prison, gun extra few years in prison
I mis labeled as a gang member due to my family members and neighborhood. Never once was I jumped in.
When I went to prison for selling drugs I learned I had a gang card going back to the late 90s early 2000s. I was born in 1990 how could I be a 10 year old gang member lol. At 30 after doing 7 years in prison I still couldn’t get the gang card removed. I’m 33 I haven’t been in trouble since my last conviction over 13 years ago and I still have a gang card and always will. So not only am I housed with gang members when I’m arrested I’m also automatically a target by other gang members in prison and jails.
And to be in a room of 300 hardened gang members when I’ve never been a part of it and don’t know their laws or anything to the gang and can’t denounce it to gang members and say hey this is a mistake that’s asking for a death sentence by other inmates I just find it crazy that they do that to you here.
      Anyways be safe

      I think you misunderstood...
The point was, someone has taken a knife from the kitchen to protect themselves. The sole purpose was for protection, which yes as we know isn't right from the get go...
Now, that knife is on the person, it's there in their pocket, trousers, bag whatever.. Its in reach. Someone makes that person angry or bullies, or teases. Irrationally, the person reaches for the knife they had and uses it...
If that knife wasn't on the person for protection, it wasn't used when they were angry
Imagine your father throwing a slipper at you. If it wasn't cold he wasn't having a slipper on his foot to throw, he got angry and used what he had on his person. Obviously a reach of an example but that was the point

@@jjmmjj9999 it's down to the individual, not everyone would use a weapon in anger . I was in work gear and had a Stanley knife on me when someone attacked me , I didn't feel the need to use a weapon if I felt my life was in danger I may well have but i didn't.
To say someone shouldn't carry a weapon for defence because they will use it in anger is just not true I depends entirely on the individual and people know whether they would use a weapon in anger or not .

    • @jjmmjj9999
      @jjmmjj9999 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@richardwestwood1812of course it's down to the individual.
Everything around us is the way it is, due to an individual.
Speed limits, because some individuals can't be trusted.
cctv, because some individuals cant be trusted.
bus drivers behind an entire plastic screen, because some individuals can't be trusted
Of course, like most things, it's a generalisation. A child who doesn't understand consequences wouldn't have an issue using the stanley knife in your situation, but you've got self control and know right from wrong. These kids are stabbing left right and centre with no remorse for the families or the fact they've actually ended a life. People respawn in games, not in real life... the fact simply saying the wrong thing causes your life and all future opportunities to end is a madness

Why are you angry? Do you suffer from PTSD? Do you have nightmares or flashbacks? Are you paranoid and always looking over your shoulder as soon as you go out? Did you have a traumatic upbringing and parents who were drug dependent, violent or criminals?
I’m hoping and feel sure that the answer to all of these is no.
The main people selling drugs at street level and robbing people tend to suffer with some, sometimes all of the things I mentioned above.
Many of them don’t even have the money you think they do and if they do earn it, they don’t know how to spend is wisely and mainly still end up broke.
That life is not what you think it is and I feel sure that if you spent one week in it, even if you earned a lot, you’d be grateful to return back to your mundane 9-5 life.
The real ones who buy houses and earn a lot are the ones people don’t usually see or suspect and the ones the police tend not to catch.

Why are you angry? Majority of drug dealers earn less than minimum wage and risking their lives. Don’t let the movies and music videos make it seem they’re all doing well. Majority drug dealers never get to own a house because if you have ever bought a house you have to provide proof of funds.
Second of all we all have the same 24 hours. Aspire to get a better job or start a business instead of resenting people accumulating wealth no matter legal or illegal because you don’t know the stress they deal with

We are Rancher, it's a tool for us, we go to town shopping or a pub, and no one even bats on eye at the sight of a knife. Never in my 68 years have I seen any issues with people carrying knives, we have seen lots of scraps and punch ups at bars, but no one pull out a knife. Could be because most folk have gun in the truck.

Also, as a kid, most kids in school had a knife on them, most adults had knifes, and there was nearly no knife crime.

It only ever gets enforced against people who aren't in gangs. These gang scumbags get multiple convictions on these nanny state laws and they get released over and over again, given light sentences, endless concessions made to them. And it makes it impossible for people to defend themselves. Being armed is a fundamental right of all living beings. Self defense is a pillar of existence on this planet, and the idea that a government can restrict that is abhorrent. Especially when they cultivate problems like these gangs in the midst of our society.

He's right that there needs to be harsher punishments for anyone carrying a weapon designed for killing. It's a good idea about sending them to the army. Not sure the troops would want someone with no discipline or respect amoung their ranks though.
Bringing back National service seems like it might help bring some discipline and respect to these young fools. And help find them a proper trade.

People throwing around the term "zombie knives" like they know what they're talking about.
Most stabbings are done with standard kitchen knives. Much cheaper, much easier to conceal, available from any supermarket or home kitchen for minors, and much more effective, sharper, and more durable than ornamental "zombie knives". The term is just something the government has adopted so they have a direction to point a finger, rather than address the cultural and edicational source of the issue.
In fact, hyping up any knife that values aesthetics over function as a "zombie knife" generates MORE appeal to younger kids, as it makes them seem more intimidating, dangerous, and illegal. So the government is literally just advertising these knives as cool and edgy weapons, and making them illegal just increases demand for them. Making then a sought after fashion accessory for young lads trying to make an impression.
But it's a lot easier for politicians to look like they're doing something by saying "zombie knives are the problem. Make them illegal", than it is to start throwing people in prison for carrying knives in public, or to start investing into better public support for neglected communities with poor schools.

What a load of absolute bollocks! How many so called 'Zombie knives' have been used in an actual murder? The number would be very small - so called Zombie knives were made as wall hangers... The tang of the blade is so thin and fragile that the blades would snap if they had been mis used..... That's how you know that when the police pose with an intact zombie knife that it has actually not been used in a fatal stabbing.... Stop taking advise from stupid actors like Idris Alba who would rather blame the near to non existent crime of children buying knives online than blame the the culture that exists in mainly the youths of the black communities in every major city. Most knives used in these crimes are kitchen knives.... Not brought online, but taken from home or stolen from supermarkets or even brought from Asian owned shops where they are lax with asking for I. D
