A lot of people think this is a Zappa song because he did a wonderful cover with Don Harris on violin, but it was actually written and originally recorded by Little Richard.
Great rendition of a classic Zappa tune. Katie is fantastic and the vocalist is right on. Love Ed's band! He's from my hometown of Ocean City, NJ. We may have attended OC High together. He does our town proud!!
Obviously this group has studied FZ. As everyone should. The EPBB add their own touch though. I believe Frank would approve. As much as I adore him however, Frank did not stand alone. Don't forget the Mothers, LRP and Don "Sugarcane" Harris. No single person is responsible for this arrangement. I believe that an in depth study into Little Richard is absolutely warranted. There are about a million ongoing investigations concerning Frank, as well there should be.

She goes from those nasty notes to the sweet notes so smoothly. You gotta believe Frank and Sugarcane would like this version.
Move over "Sugarcane" there's a new sheriff in town. Beautifully done Katie
Wow. Incredible performance. Zappa would be proud! Think I have a crush on the violinist.
Doesn't everybody?
They get the spirit of the song ...
Used to see Sugar Cane in the 70s ..
I love Ed's band and Katie is bad ass! It just warms this old man's heart to hear all sorts of musicians and bands keeping Frank's music alive!
Hot! This whole bank cranks it out. Loved the electric fiddle.
Katie brought me here from Trala!
I'm on Trala too! How are you enjoying it? I just started this week

This is easy one of the best songs I've heard in a long-long time, I am just captivated and the band is beautiful!
I wore the album out forty years ago..."Weasels Ripped my Flesh". Great artwork on the cover.
Great!
Incredible performance.
Loved it. Who could not?
OMG She is amazing! Killer no filler 🔥🔥🔥
Flying V violin !
I just gave this a spin. 😳. Holy Moly straight🔥
Amazing..... thank you.
She just gave me chills
Me too, literally.
Weasels are eatin' me flesh!
I wish I hadn't quit playing the violin (after my older brother smashed it over my head) 😜
very good ! Thanks to Frank !
Let's not forget Little Richard.
Awesome performance.
wow
That cover was AWESOME ! And the girl on the violin was ( Beyond the Beyond ) even better than Sugar Cane Harris if thats even possiable.
Holy sh!t !!!
Would love to hear you play Elanor Rigby, based off Sugarcane's version
Appreciate this version but cannot help pining for the original.
She doesn't bang it like Sugarcane did with an incredible stacatto. Vocals slick.
Tongue in cheek and fiddle too
I am confused: this violin has six strings (not four) and has frets like a guitar. Can anybody explain??
It's a 6 string violin made of synthetic material and includes frets
@@pauladamy1471 Thank you 🙏
@@pauladamy1471 Is the fingerboard carbon fiber or ebony?
Some things just can't be explained.
@@Frisbieinstein Thanks 🙏 my friend
Original by Little Richard.
I did not know that- thank you
Yooooooooo
What an amazing cover, but that violin what kind is it? With 6 strings
It’s a 6 string electric violin called the Viper made by Wood Violins
Richard Penniman is smiling down !
That would be Penniman, you idiot.
Richard Penniman

You're from trala app, right?
Great googly-moogly -- is she playing a guitar like a violin????

Between the vocalist and the violinist, Sugar Cane redo
Weichgespülte Kopie von Don Sugarcane Harris
A copy cat!
