the macbook touchpad is one of the best, its pretty fun to game on it.
Bro, video editing in 1080p? That's like nothing for these macbooks. Im using my macbook pro m1 13 (16gb ram) for professional video editing in 4k multicam (4-5 cameras) and it works perfectly, never had any problems with it. Such a beast. 11/10.
Still my daily driver with 16gb of ram. Not a big fan of the Touch Bar or the low volume speakers but still gets the job done so I hope it continues to get a lot of more years of software support.
Great video! Using this same model since 2020 as a secondary device apart from my PC. Still performs great for day to day normal use, even for light video editing.

What did you do with your late 2013 MacBook Pro and do you notice much of a difference between that and this one during normal use?
This is definitely more snappier in loading things like apps and web pages. The 2013 is what I would consider usable, but not amazing.
I personally love the touchbar. Its the reason why i still use the m1 MacBook pro. I never ever understood why people hated it?

I do regret not getting it with 16GB RAM, but I still find my MacBook Pro M1 13-inch to be an excellent laptop
why a u regretting? I want to bay air on amazon bc it costs 500$ , but only base model, is it really worth it to pay 150$ more for 16 Ram only? For what sake ?

I got mine for 4 years the battery health is 99% which is dope
I liked how much slimmer this model was than the current chunky MacBook Pro.
Which doesn’t really make sense, because the previous models had much hotter Intel CPUs inside, while the M-series barely gets warm during normal usage
