Thanks for the video. I agree that the AnkerMake M5C is SOOOO easy. I know nothing, first time user, up and running in about 1hr. I have printed 2 - 3 items in the first night and excited for all that is available to print.
I have been enjoying mine quite a bit. This is my 3rd FDM printer and I love the plug and play ability, though it has a lot of fine control if you want to really tweak settings.
How do you upload a file to print? There is a file from Etsy my nephew wanted me to print but not sure how to upload it to the printer. Do I just put it on a USB-C flash drive and put that in the printer?
I have an Aquila I have been upgrading over time, problem is it's falling apart, and I am actually terrible at wiring. Ok now to the point, I am looking into getting this one now because my current upgrades, all-metal, auto bed leveling, direct drive, and I literally run octoprint off a cellphone to print from a distance. Literally all of it is here. It's down to 320 now. It's physically smaller than my Aquila and faster. Plus it has a 6 spool AMS style unit coming out. Feels like a no brainier.
it's about the same bed space as my snapmaker J1.. love my work plate, everything pops off easily once it's cooled down. My J1 also built like a tank like this Anker. I'm still looking for a 2nd printer ..
I had no problems with my anker make then it started clogging. I cleaned that out not I have gear slipping. I wish I knew what could be the problem. It also leaks filament while its just sitting at idle. wish i knew the cause...
My biggest hang up is it always has to be on Wi-Fi or else it won’t work. Makes me kinda anxious if there is an internet outage here I can’t print. But everything else about it seems great
I'm sure you'll be reviewing the new Bambu Labs A1 pretty soon. If I didn't already have a Bambu X1c and a Tevo Tornado I might have been tempted to pick this Anker up.
Has the M5 worked with the new firmware update. It's currently 350$ the m5c is 244$ Amazon . I went ahead and got the m5c. I also may try the A1 mini 249$. If the M5 has the kinks worked out where would you go with all those choices. Please and thank you man. Appreciate you.
What do you think...this for 399 or the Bambu P1S. Looking to upgrade from my Ender 3 V2. I have all the upgrades on my ender but it's time to upgrade...to a new machine.
@@OriginaldoBo 15:10 "Doesn't have a screen, you will need to use your phone." That's the point, I do not want to "need to use" a phone. You explained M5C printer only used a phone to operate it along with a single button. You did mention a USB, but that was for "extra storage". That would mean the USB isn't used to input patterns. Then by setting it up would be by scanning the code, which would be with a smart phone, but for those of us who don't have smart phones, for personal reasons, there is no other way to use this printer according to your video. There is a connection, but that is directly over the cloud, according to you, which is not a personal computer, but somebody else's computer. Sure I can download right from the Anker Make store, you said so, but then I only have Anker Make items to print. A microphone? Really? I suppose if people buy it, but I want to print items a little more interesting than patterns downloaded from an online Anker Make store, which does have a lot I looked, but nothing I'm interested in. For reviewing a 3D printer you made it clear there is only one way to use the printer, 15:10.
This 3d printer is a huge flop! Lack of a good slicer is a big shot in the foot. There is no offline anything with the m5c which is a joke. The app is completely useless and the files on the app are very few and arent all stl files so you cant directly print 90 percent of those files.. The slicer will tell you 10 hour print and turn into 15 hour print somehow while printing. The fact that the company's on website lies about its own features should be enough to scare anyone away from buying this. And for the price, you can get many different 3d printers that utilize more types of filaments and have some sort of upgrade so your printer can do all the things you want with 10x better slicer. And the m5 is an even bigger joke with a camera that does nothing... I wouldnt recommend this to any entry-level person either because that's just predatory to suggest a bad product to someone who doesn't know any better.
We haven’t had any issues with them nor has others that I know using it. Also you don’t have to use just ankers slicer you can create Prusa slicer profiles
@OriginaldoBo that's funny. Only people I find not having issues are mainly youtubers, yet reading forums and product reviews many others say otherwise.... I'm glad you never had any issues. Unfortunately, that's not the case for me and many others. Yea, I will definitely be looking into a different slicer. The app can't even stop my printer. I have to do it manually. And you can try and defend this crappy printer all you want and your video it's your living, I get it. But the fact your only defense is use a different slicer and you haven't noticed any issues with what you use your printer for tells me all I need to know about this channel and the products your review.

Can't believe it printed the mask without supports! Looks like a great printer that even I could figure out, maybe! Thanks for the review!

I need this ASAP, my Ender 3 was a nightmare to level even after multiple calibration attempts. Does this come in a larger size?
Well, the larger size (only by a tad) would be the original, the M5. And that comes with an LCD screen and camera.
I was just looking at this - glad you caught a review on it. It appears to be a simple, pretty machine. and $360... wow.... that dragon looked amazing
My biggest hang up is it always has to be on Wi-Fi or else it won’t work. Makes me kinda anxious if there is an internet outage here I can’t print. But everything else about it seems great
I’ve it and it can also use Bluetooth
Hey Ty so much for the info. I’m jw is there any way to know how much filament each print might take?
It really just depends on the size of the print it can take almost as much as it needs or as little as it needs
Can we print helicopter or airplane?
Oh wow, great review! Looking good in green😍
Agreed! I couldn't help but notice all the green. I thought he might've done that on purpose to be coordinated. It was a whole vibe!

KEN. should I get this or the Sovol svo6 with klipper.
This is a far better machine in my experience with it

This is closer to the ender in terms of familiarity, but it’s really hard to beat a P1P
@@OriginaldoBo thanks man. I am going to go Bambu. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them.
this unit doesn't use a bowden tube?
Yes however it’s direct drive
had mine 3 months...rock solid....the M5 that is
Print quality any near is good
You must be running out of the space in the new office. Lol
What if I DO NOT want to use a phone.
Use the computer

@BigPositivity I'm hurt for calling out bs when I see it? I guess if that's the way you feel, it can't be wrong, right?
Should i be afraid if somehow the app is not supported? Lets say hypothetical Anker goes bankrupt.
No you can use the device with out the app as well
