Totally infuriating Mac! NONE of the recommended recovery options worked. Only option now seems to be to take it into an Apple shop, for them to look at it (they'll obviously try and talk me into buying a new Mac, due to 'built in obsolescence').
Good afternoon, pls I need some help on this: My MacBook Air M1 2020 got stucked at the apple logo which usually pop up while booting the laptop, this happened after I was trying to update the operating system from Catalina to the latest OS and light went off, although my battery is not in good condition so the system went off immediately light was taken. Pls, what can I do? Thanks
Hi there, thank you for your question! First, force restart by holding down the power button until it turns off, then restart. If that doesn’t work, boot into Recovery Mode by holding the power button until you see "Loading startup options," then select "Options" to enter Recovery and try reinstalling macOS to complete the update without data loss. For more complex solutions, connect your Mac to another Mac using a USB-C cable and use Apple Configurator to restore the firmware. If the issue persists, consider visiting an Apple Store or an Authorized Service Provider, as a battery replacement might be necessary for stable power during updates.
Hi there, thank you for your question! I would recommend opening up disk utility then select your disk go to the first aid tab and select run to repair the permissions and then restart. If that doesn't work I would recommend taking it to a professional for further assistance.
Is there any solution apart from apple shop. Boot loop on my macbook air was cause by boot camp after installing windows. Any solution since none of the video work for it.
[SOLVED] My MacBook Pro 2019 with Intel i9 encountered an issue while in Recovery mode, becoming stuck in an infinite loop with the logo. (Running OS Sonoma) After reading a comment suggesting erasing the main drive in Recovery mode (by holding down Cmd + R after turning on). I erased and, then re-installed the OS, and to my relief, it worked. I realized that it was stuck during the installation process and not actually booting up the OS. Typically, after restarting, it should also take some time... It displays something like "About 25 minutes remaining." I didn't use the power cable during the installation process, so I'm not sure if that might have caused any issues. Man, I just bought this laptop this week from someone, and I regretted it almost immediately. Hopefully, I can use it for work for at least a year or more. Tip: If you can't buy from a store, at least purchase a product that still has a warranty. I learned my lesson.
Hi there, thank you for your question! it means your Mac is locked with a firmware password. This security feature prevents unauthorized users from accessing recovery mode or booting from an external drive. To proceed, enter the firmware password if you know it, allowing you to continue into recovery mode. If you don’t know the password, you’ll need to contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Authorized Service Provider to have the password removed; be ready to provide proof of ownership. If someone else previously used the Mac, it’s worth checking if they may have set up the password. Once past the lock screen, you should be able to access recovery mode to perform any necessary repairs or diagnostics.

Hi there, thank you for your question! You’ll need to create a bootable macOS installer using another Mac. Download the macOS installer from the App Store, create a bootable USB using Terminal, and then reset the NVRAM/PRAM by holding Option + Command + P + R during startup. Boot from the USB installer by holding Option during startup, and use Disk Utility to erase your internal hard drive again in APFS format with GUID Partition Map. Then, proceed with reinstalling macOS from the USB installer, and if needed, reinstall OCLP to maintain compatibility with the Sonoma update
I still can't get my macbook air to reboot. I started an update and it has been looping for 24 hours. Nothing seems to work:[ but the instructions here are clear, though i wish the subtitles were smaller and more condensed with the instructions.

Hi there, thank you for your question! If your stuck on any of the steps in the video I would recommend trying the next step to see if that solves your issue and if none of the steps in the video solve the issue then I would recommend taking it to apple for further assistance as it could be a more serious issue.
I’m having a problem where before I can boot up MacBook in safe mode it restarts/goes blank again before getting any progress on the bar. Any ideas on how to fix?
Hi there, thank you for your question! If your MacBook restarts or goes blank before completing the boot-up process into Safe Mode, you can try these steps to troubleshoot: Reset NVRAM/PRAM by holding Option, Command, P, and R keys during startup; run Disk Utility in Recovery Mode to check for and repair disk errors; investigate hardware issues by disconnecting new components; attempt Safe Boot from Recovery Mode using Terminal to set the boot argument; check for conflicting software by uninstalling recent installations; and if issues persist, consider resetting the SMC and if all else fails, contact Apple Support or visit an authorized service provider for further assistance.

My apple logo goes away when I want to go into recovery mode.
Hi there, thank you for your question. If you're experiencing an issue where the Apple logo disappears when trying to enter recovery mode on your iOS device, there are a few potential solutions you can try:
Force Restart:
Sometimes, a force restart can help resolve issues. For different iPhone models:
iPhone 8 and later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, press and quickly release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: Press and hold the Side button and the Volume Down button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.
iPhone 6s and earlier: Press and hold the Home button and the Side (or Top) button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.
Try a Different USB Cable and Port:
Connect your iPhone to your computer using a different USB cable and try a different USB port. Sometimes, connectivity issues can interfere with the recovery mode process.
Update iTunes (or Finder on macOS Catalina and later):
Ensure that you have the latest version of iTunes (or Finder if you're using macOS Catalina or later) installed on your computer. Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
All of it cant fix my issue
Hi there, thank you for your question! Can you give me some more information about your issue we're happy to help.
