I just want to say. I made your laksa dish for my man after watching your video. He has requested it a multitude of times. Youre an amazing chef and the fact you explain every element does wonders for us at home. Please keep doing what you're doing because you are amazing x
Dear Marion, thank you so much for that tip. I adopted it about a year ago with my pad thai noodles because they were always breaking up. You are a very good chef and video persona who really knows what she's doing!
Marion's Kitchen dropped off my TH-cam feed sadly.. But now I have 3 months of videos to watch! Thank you Marion and the team for these great recipes! Happy new year!
"Tempting my Asian ancestors to come after me." Lmao! You are not only a great chef, but very funny and beautiful too. I used to eat Singapore rice and noodles at this Thai place where I live here in the U.S., but it closed down permanently due to covid. So seeing your video helps me in making one of my fav dishes at home. You're the best Marion!
Oh 🥹 this is exactly my Singaporean grandma’s fried beehoon 🥹😍 love it so much! My mom and I try to get the perfect recipe living in France but the noodles are always hard to get right 😂
Where have you been hiding? I finally found a rice noodle recipe that i can follow at home here on the other side of the planet in Guatemala, C.A. Thanks a whole bunch!!! Israel Perez😋👨🍳
So Singapore noodles is my go-too at my local noodles house.... so I was so looking forward to this recipe, but then you had to go and rip out my heart and tell me that it's yet another kit we can't get in New Zealand 😭 I mean, I have figured out how to make it over the years, but still.... wanna support you and make my life easier hahaha
Thank you Marion! You never disappoint! I first found out about you a few tears ago when my mom got your curry kit, I was wondering how to stir fry these noodles so they aren't soggy/mushy 🙂. You came to the rescue!
So excited to get Mako wok & your first cookbook to go along with your two most recent cookbooks!!! So happy!!! I have been searching for the perfect Wok!!! Cannot wait to get wok!!! ♥️♥️🤗🤗🌺🌺
Hope you like the recipes in our cookbooks and of course our new MAKO wok Alice! Can't wait to see what you're going to cook first! 🥰 -Team Marion's Kitchen
Finally made this recipe for me and my husband!! The noodle soaking technique worked like a charm!! Definitely want one of those woks one day, thank you Marion!!💕💕💕
Love your videos. Such clear directions. Superb . Your style is great. Your photographer is excellent focusing on the right parts of the dish. Not sure Dax is your husband but you are a great team ribbing each other now and then. Love when your mum and children make a cameo visit or more often like your lovely mum does with her own cooking. Asian ancestors too!!
I looked online and didn't see any stores available in the USA any more? Are the kits only available in Australia and New Zealand at this time? ❤️ your videos
We are hooked on your Vietnamese tangy salad dressing. Since we can not get it in the USA anymore would you please do a video on how to replicate it. There are many more ingredients on the bottle than are mentioned in your Vietnamese Salad video. Would be greatly appreciated.
I spend my internship, 3 months, at the teacher training college in Georgetown, Guyana. Which is now 22 years ago. Had an amazing time! Wonderful to see a comment from Guyana. Love from The Netherlands.
This recipe looks delicious Marion and I’ll have to try it. My Wok is similar to yours in design, but by Taylor & N.G. EVERY person who loves to cook NEEDS a wok. Greetings from north Texas. Ron S 🤓😜

For wide rice noodles, I like to soak first until they’re softened. But these will also need a quick blanch in boiling water because they’re so much thicker. But the soak does make things less sticky and is worth it for the wider noodles too 👍
I just found your channel. I would love to know more about you. I know you’re part Thai and that you live in Bangkok. Have you always lived there? What is your background culinary wise? Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you so much for your interest in our MK products, Christine 😊 Our food products are currently available in Australia (Coles/ Woolies/ IGA) and NZ (Countdown store). Hi Marion, just a question. Does the soaking in cold water alo work with thicker Phad thai rice noodles? How long would you leave them in cold water? Cooking them in boiling water let them stick together as hell. Best wishes from 🇦🇹 .
Love your channel Marion! I was just wondering if you've ever heard of kamloo fried wontons? My local Chinese restaurant has them and they are delicious and I would love to know how to make them (not so much the wontons them selves, but the sauce itself) Thanks!
Hi just wanted to thank you so much for all the lovely recipes you shared with ❤and I am cooking all of those. But I am really very sad that I had asked many times how do I get a set of your Mako wok shipped to Singapore. I went on line and at checkout it says it cannot be shipped to my address. I would really love to have one and I pray that there is a way. Please help to advice how can I get hold of your wok. I love and am a great fan of you and your recipes.❤
This isn’t exactly related to this episode but I have a food genre request! I have been really wanting to try Japanese street food and I know how amazing of a chef you are lol so maybe you could do some recipes like that? Like takoyaki, taiyaki, and dango? I’ve always wanted to try these but nowhere close by sells them 😢
❤Hi I am a great fan of yours and you are the best favourite chef. I tried to purchase your Mako wok from Marion’s Kitchen but it says it cannot be shipped to my address in Singapore. I love this recipe, but unfortunately a little confused as to what's in the sauce? The recipe online doesn't mention what it is, just that it's a part of the kit? I've googled it and it says it's mostly curry powder? Is that right considering that you've already added this to the dish first?
my recipe is a little bit water, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar. just as much as you like. i also sauteed small part of ginger and throw it away before serving.
Unfortunately, it's only available at Coles, Australia at the moment 😅 But you can always follow Marion's recipe here! www.marionskitchen.com/singapore-noodles/ Hope this helps! -Team Marion's Kitchen
Add them frozen like you would when doing a pre packaged frozen stir fry. If you worry because the protein might overcook, you can always cook the protein first, remove it from wok or pan, and then add the veggies and once they are done, add the protein back and continue as normal.
@@SchwarzeWitwe2 It does if you dont have the heat high enough or therestoo many veggies, but you can always keep frying until the water is gone. Sometimes I even add a splash of water to the noodles if I feel they are already dry but they are still a bit tough, and the water is gone in less than a minute. You can always try different methods with the frozen veggies and choose the one that you prefer the most

My biggest weakness is frozen veggies - do I defrost them first? Microwave? Bung into the pan when frozen?
Add them frozen like you would when doing a pre packaged frozen stir fry.
If you worry because the protein might overcook, you can always cook the protein first, remove it from wok or pan, and then add the veggies and once they are done, add the protein back and continue as normal.
