@@markyeager3022 it still puts energy in the active that wasn’t there, and doesn’t use your attach for turn. So with magma basin it’s definitely accelerating 1 every turn
I've watched a lot of dragapult ex matches from jp channels and... Not a single one lost to charizard ex. I'm really looking forward to getting this deck. Also, though I love greninja, I think dragapult is a bit better in consistency to setting up, and also better in sniping.
Boomerang energy could be fun in Garchomp for the bench snipe attack, although with Greninja ex in the format, there are fewer reasons to consider it now
I already have 2 different Gholdengo decks built just waiting for Sinestcha ex. One that uses more typical draw engines and one that uses the new hyper aroma to get all the Gholdengos up as the engine.
Perrin could work over Jaqc in Lugia because of the flexibility to get two archeops or one and a lumineon since Jacq only retrieves evolution Pokemon. Could even use it to get a Lugia on a very bad starting hand.
Sinistcha could definitely cook if given the right opportunity- Gholdengo seems like a great pairing for it- and if you are worried about grass energy needing to be pushed out, it’s not great but Alolan Exeggutor V or Hisuian Liligant work in theory (though they’re not done through abilities, unfortunately). I think Sinistcha and its EX counterpart could be played well together for an interesting one-prize attacker + setup for the EX to get a snipe?
Definitely not meta, but I think Survival Cast would be the ace spec of choice for Venomth Spidops control decks that item locks your opponents with a 90HP Pokemon. As a whole, I think you did a great job with the tier list LDF. Still think the new Dipplin festival deck could have some more potential with its auto charizard win.
super looking forward to this new set. I love dragapult but in truth this festival deck seems like a really fun rogue. Also interested to see the potentially catastrophic effects of unfair stamp and secret box.
I see the festival deck as a perfect deck for secret box. It sets you up pretty nicely as soon you can use it plus it's searchable off Thwackey. Box can also find BBP or bug catcher to find even more of your cards. Plus Max belt doesn't really offer much in the way in math fixing that you can't get in other ways. super effective glasses plus Kieren is 390 to one shot charizard and roaring moon ex, leaving you able to hit something else for between 100 to 390, vitality band 110 twice for 220, defiance band or Kieren for 130 twice takes out iron hands or both hits 320. it isn't a bad option for sure but kind of feels like a waste to me
I think Blazekin with Dragon Koraidon EX might see some play. You hit for 280, it’s can charge in one turn, you can play Max Belt for Charizard, its first attack it’s decent if it doesn’t die instantly after using the second attack. You can play most Fire Big Basics like Entei, Gouging Fire, and Deplhox. You can play RadZard as well. It won’t be top tier, but ChickenBox could be fun. I also think that GrassOgre makes Toedscruel EX playable since it allows you to accelerate energy, damage, and a bit of draw. Finally I believe the way people will play Dragapult EX will likely be a 4-4-3 line with a 3-3 Xatu line for the psychic acceleration.
Seeing tera Greninja EX in S makes me so happy! Love Greninja, but man is Greninja EX kind of underwhelming. Damage output can be inconsistent at times (you’re not always gonna have a damage marker on an opponent) and 300 HP hurts it a lot against opponents like Charizard EX.
If Iron thorns turned off all abilities then it would be broken, but sinces its only rule boxes it doesn't feel as strong. It's Path to the peak but for 2 prizes.
Was wondering if you were going to slot the baby iron leaves in tier A or B. Shocked it wasn’t included here. It’s really solid in future box according to city league data.
The fact that Goldeen can discard energies from your pokemon isn't that good, tbh. As a Garchomp ex player, I DARE someone to use it against me. I'll just retreat to a second Garchomp and re-attach the energy. Goldeen players, bring it!!
Gyrados ex gonna be absolutely broken with froslass Also i cant see greninja being that good for now manaphys a masive problem for it so until manaphy rotates out its kinda mid when manaphys gone though spherical shield rellor will be a problem although you could just bench snipe the rabscas before they set it up
@@kefireszon 1 if greninja becomes a threat decks start running manaphy way more frequently second if they sit in the prizes is too much of a problem hisuian heavy ball exists and decks can just run 2 manaphy if greninja becomes that big of a threat and they can just snipe the rabsca oft the bench
Conk and brute bonnet? That will work. I thought of reuniclus and call upon as many possible conk. Just get the brute bonnete make you poisoned, then good to go. 250 easy
Conk and brute bonnet? That will work. I thought of reuniclus and call upon as many possible conk. Just get the brute bonnete make you poisoned, then good to go. 250 easy
Personally, I think you rated Perrin too low. Its pretty situational for sure but its a crazy good combo with the Palafin EX considering you need to keep them in your deck and keep the basics on your bench
Is worth buying new cards that cannot make a breakthrough at the current meta. 90% of the cards that maybe will be used will make tweaks at the Charizard ex and the 2-3 decks that can make the fight against it, the new dinamics and box something have little to no support to be the new meta. There is no balance in the game
When does this set come out ? Also that hearthflame mask ogerpon ex that's better then Gouging fire right? So I could replace that with that Also next set is next month ? And what Is that called?
@@AresSTArK for future reference you can just google it. Prerelease dates show when you can get physical copies of the cards I believe whereas the later date is the official release, or when it becomes legal in standard and is released online.
I think is because aside for tm devo/evo, it doesn't have good synergy with the fest archetype: using other tms cost 3 energies in a archetype with not much energy accel. Maybe its not that consistent yet
Luxray ex is a stage 2, so it isn't as fast as Luxray V. It still has a chance to be rather powerful, and to become a cornerstone of a control archetype itself admittedly, but they aren't really the same. The things is that what makes Luxray V scary is that it is easy to set up and easy to bounce back when you need to. It also does minimal damage, meaning you are able to stick something heavy in the active spot, and slowly steal cards from your opponent without worrying about knocking out the utility pokemon you are trying to stall your opponent out with.
hands can't os a palafin unless it has 3 iron crown, and even then palafin can play a rigid band to go to 370 pv to force hands to use at least 4 ironcrowns and with a lot of switch cards and 1 free retreater it's easy to "summon" the palafin ex or you can play it with rescue board on palfin + pidgeot V, dudunsparce or heck even a fossil lmao + the switch cards just in case or a decydueye ex with a baloon or gengar
Lol it only needs 2 and future booster. Also, like i predicted, palafin is poo. Blissey and festival are here and there alongside dragapult's domination, but palafin is nowhere to be seen.
