I've played Ancient Box! I was 5-3-1 and barely missed day 2. Meta was decent for Lugia due to the low amounts of Future Hands decks. There was a decent amount of Lugia and Espathra. Charizard was everywhere (problably was more than 30%+ of the field in Day 1). There was a decent amount of Chien-Pao and Arceus too.
Literally just lack of Vacuum. Nothing can one shot Charizard with Mist+Cape outside of 8 energy Pao, 4 energy Espathra, Meowscarada, or 9 energy Gholdengo, and if you drop that after 4 prizes, the only thing that can take the hit is another Charizard, so it just takes so much commitment to get over it that it’s usually game ending at that point of you don’t have the Vacuum.
Been doing really well in my locals with palkia Blastoise. Charizards can't one shot and has trouble 2 shooting the Blastoise and I hit 330 under max belt
@@Cmurda93 currently zero on the vacuum, but this may change as the format develops. Under lake acuity the zard has to 3 shot the Blastoise or at best 2 shot in the later game while I can consistently one shot the zard or the Pidgeot
I've been thinking a lot about Espathra. Really want to play some grass Pokemon not really because of Zard but because is one of my favorite types in the game, maybe using Meowscarada as well, but getting worried about the Enhanced Hammer reprint killing the cat.
My interest in this game right now has gone so far down. First time in years I don't even want to play the game. Play against the same decks over and over and it's so fkn boring. I'm super happy I started playing Digimon, it has taken over as my priority for playing tcgs
Dark Tera Charizard ex is becoming a problem for Pokemon TCG that is ruining the competitive scene. Looks like time Pokemon Company ban the card or they finally get their heads out of their butt and give us the Grass Type Cannon that we need to finally stop this madness
When the thumbnail is Espathra, guess not many surprises, but so happy for Meowscarada!
Almost made it to day 2, played Pao and faced off against 5 Zards, winning 3 of them.
420/1255 isn't that bad for a first tournament though
That's awesome your first.
That seems like it would suck to play against the same deck over and over. Still would be pretty fun to go to a tournament. Hope I’m able to someday
Absolutely demolished my local yesterday with espathra. It is being slept on for sure
I have trouble with Lugia, giratina, chein pao, gardevoir… have you cracked the code?
For chien pao just use banete ex
I'm not so sure about tina but it's OK ig
Your worst match up here is probably lugia
Idk why but no matter how creative or adaptable it is, as a spectator I have no interest in seeing Lost Box, cant wait for it to go

Maybe temple of sinnoh will be optimal for lost zone box with all of the mist energy running around could help the lugia and arceus matchup
Hero's Cape on 4 of the highest Zards. I would love the arguments for that over Prime Catcher

I play 2 lost vacuum with Zard so no sweat lol

Anyone please explain to me where the Incineroar ex fails as a deck? Haven't seen it on limitless.
I am new.

Honestly, I probably have like an 80-85% win rate against Zard with Espathra.
man im already sick of Charizard gatekeeping
This is good for the IRL which I might start playing because tcg live is done completely crashed can't sign in at all
Your ptcgl crash is hardware related no doubt. I have a top pc and the game works flawlessly on it. Also works fine on my S21 android.
Paulo otimista e fé ❤❤
Same 3 decks recycled over and over. Boring meta.
How? There's something like 10 valid decks now
Almost all archetypes are recycled except for ancient and future box
@@althaboss3925 i mean... You expect the game to change at every set? Also op said that there are always the same 3 decks
Bleybleyd
Ban the zard
Can't beat em join em

And a new art for Zard is coming out in Japan soon. Has been reprinted like crazy.
Couldn't agree more but the chances of them banning their golden boy is never happening.
Would there be a time we would see Pikachu being BDIF? Lol!
as someone who's only good deck is a charizard one yeah give us a op grass type already
I really hate Charizard
