Interesting, what are your views on mortgage interest rates? Are you anticipating any rise in mortgage interest rates? would you recommend fixed or variable rates (or what is available in Ontario)? My fear is having the monthly payments spike above what can be reasonably charged and start requiring out of pocket. Perhaps that can be mitigated by going out of city limits. and a duplex or triplex
Why not keep the third unit for yourself so that you have a place to stay when you visit "this city"? With two units already rented out, there is somewhat of enough to cover the mortgage plus some cash flow.
The more the cashflow, the better lol She’ll be able to save up quicker for her next property and grow her portfolio. Also, she’ll have some money left over from herself and/or other interests
