- This is M5Paper made by M5Stack company. This device is based on ESP32 chip. It have build in RTC, 1150 mAh battery, large 4.7 eInk display
with touch support. SD card reader, three way button, SHT30 temperature and humidity sensor and more. This is great development system. Best part is power consumption.

This is a fantastic little dev board. I love eInk screens !
I just wish they weren't US$100 !
M5 stack are pricey in all the stuff they do. It's a shame because you could use this as an OEM loaded with whatever you code. Consumers are not used to such high prices though so it limits the market. It's low volume production.

4 days (100 hours) on battery with e-ink is too short time. Average is 10mA. Is it something wrong with sleep power consumption?

Here's a project for you Mate if your up to the challenge by turning this little unit into a Mount in Car or Truck Diagnostic Tool with up to 12 Channel Pico Oscilloscope to Hook into Engine censers and Monitoring Software in Real Time System Analyst? Code Reading and Wave Form of all Censers? You could use the (RASPBERRY-PI-4) for the main Processor that could Operate as a Radio and Video for say, watching TH-cam Video's plus Movies. Yes, this would be complicated. Can you do it? Will you do it? I look forward to this Video. Thanks for the upload.

Yes in Arduino Ide, no, it dont have os
I use esp32s but not the Arduino IDE because of the constraints. Esspresif have esp-IDF a development system that has a plugin for the Eclipse IDE which is harder to use than Arduino but has much more power. All my esp32s are running under Free RTOS, a very powerful real time operating system. You have to sort out lots of things for yourself for example I use LVGL for all graphics. It's a bit obscure to start with but very logically consistent and with a bit of practice it is ideal for small displays driven by microcontrollers.

Great display with a lot of possibilities, however sadly at £85 each it`s a no go ...
After advancing 1 minute from hour_14: 53 to hour_14: 54 at 3:54, why did it go from 4218 mV to 4234 mV?
Power consumption is so minimal that it actually gains energy with time

Probably a low resolution ADC measuring the battery voltage. Its no uncommon with built-in ADC's

Am putting you off your video i cant get my esp32 to work ive been at it for 2weeks now av tried using uno av tried ftdi usb av got esp32 camera model checked an checked its all wired up correctly one thing ive noticed at the bottom of the board theres no avr isp and when you try to set it it says no programmes for this board can you give me a solution thank you

@@VolosProjects Jedva pretekoh pre mesec dana. Temperatura nije silazila ispod 38.6 čak 8 dana. Obostrana upala pluća. Drži se, nije za igranje. Kašalj vučem mesec dana.
