Looks amazing! As I’ve binged a lot of your videos, I find that it’s the wheels that make all the difference in the world. Getting those stock and often ugly factory wheels off of them a replacing with more realistic wheels just makes those vehicles look right every time.

I had a huge poster of the silver 959 in my bedroom as a youth. Such an iconic masterpiece by Porsche.
Awesome, Danny. I restored a MB Porsche 959, same model but from 1986. My ma found it buried in the garden! I went with gold because I saw an all-gold 959 (an actual one) on the web and had a little extra gold paint.

One of my dreamcars as well. The 959 is a work of art. Great restauration and I am happy you chose silver, the best colour for the 959 in my opinion. Personally I would also have detailed the windshield wipers though. :)

Wouldn’t look bad wit dem black paint wheels but hey! Great job! 1986 was the year that I got a studio photo of the prototype (if I’m not mistaken). Porsche (959) fan since then 🙌🏼

awesome work. ^.^ the wheels look pretty authentic, too.
what's also interesting is that even though the engine was aircooled, they had to watercool the cylinder heads and turbochargers, creating a strange mix of medias. I think they later started to develop all-new engines with watercooling, since this was crazy.
back when herpa of germany brought out an incredibly detailed model in H0 scale (1:87) with rubber tyres, springed suspension, and opening engine hood revealing a three-piece engine. the hinges were so filigreed, I broke them off right away... bought another one because of it. :P

Always thought that silver is best colour for 959 and those wheel look just perfect, almost like original 959 wheels, but little bit updated version of those 😀

I like it. You shuold paint the headlights in yellow like they used to be when they came out. Its just a suggestion
