Haven't been to Streamsong, but I love having a caddie. I usually play better because of their experience, less stress, and less physical exertion. But no caddie is perfect. Just like a putt hit twice from the same spot might not roll the same, a caddy's read cannot predict all the variables that your stroke includes. For best enjoyment, give your caddy a break and don't expect perfection.
Played Red & Blue early November - course condition is not worth the $400 greens fee. Turf has a lot of weeds and common bermuda grass. Blue had sod on some of the greens. Great layout still but conditions are not worth the high price.
Personally I was a bit underwhelmed on my visit. Hotel was pricey but nice enough. The restaurants seemed on the high end price wise for what the quality and quantity of the food. I played Red and Blue, both of which were nice but not amazing and in my opinion not worth the cost of the green fee. I enjoyed it but I doubt I'd go back.
I live 20 miles from streamsong and have absolutely loved my visits…..I think the staff, course design, and just the experience is amazing and a must for anyone.
Golf buddy trips are an investment for 3 days and 3-4 rounds. They need Affirm. In all seriousness, the resort course experience comes with a hefty price tag.
Why do you need an hour for this topic? 5 minutes in it’s clear: It’s a super nice place but arguably too expensive for people. You guys did not get paid for this, but did not mention that you had to pay for everything when you visited.

I 100% agree. I didn’t enjoy the food when I was there. But I’m not going for the food. The tacos at the turn were damn good though
