Disclaimer: I've only recently started OP, but I'm aware of everything that was discussed in this video prior to watching. While I agree with a lot of your points, I don't think that he's at all not confident in himself. In fact, I think the opposite in that he exudes a large amount of confidence. Something I'd like to point out is that there's a very fine line between arrogance and being confident in one's abilities. Zoro not only shows a fuck ton of confidence, but he never becomes arrogant. He never assumes that anyone that he fights is free, and it's even more true for the people he knows are absolutely stronger than him in every capacity, specifically Mihawk post-baratie. Zoro fully acknowledges their strength and even states on Mihawk's island that he's not dumb enough to even think about defeating him. Zoro emits so much confidence Mihawk even goes out of his way to tell him that he's an "overconfident youth" while he's trying to make it back to Luffy in his fucked up state. And I don't think him losing is at all bad for him, as a matter of fact its something that drives him because not once has he lost sight of his goal. In his eyes, protecting his captain's dreams and making them a reality is his path to attaining his own dream. He holds himself to the highest of standards, second only to the standards he holds Luffy to. In my own little head canon, I see his sacrifices are his own trials by fire. He constantly says that if he were to die there then that's all that he was made of, and not in a way that says that it's okay to die. He says it as a means to say that he himself is better than this. He constantly pushes himself to be better not because he's not confident, but it's because he has to in order to get to his goal. He has absolute confidence that he will push through his trials, not only for his captain, but for himself to progress as a swordsman. Another thing I would like to say about just how absolutely confident Zoro is was during the transition to Enies Lobby from Water 7. While they were on Rocketman on their way to rescue Robin, Luffy goes up ahead because he sees a stray car from the sea train that had Robin on it. Luffy comes back and tells Zoro "Cut it. It's in the way.". To which Zoro responds with a very casual, unbelievably nonchalant "Sure.". Zoro has absolutely no doubt in his ability and knows what he's capable of. He exudes an amount of confident that's borderline arrogance, knowing that the possibility of defeat is there but never accepting defeat. In my eyes, Zoro never truly loses even when he's supposed to because he always gets something out of it that just pushes him beyond where he used to be and puts him even closer to his goal. His captain's dreams are more important than his because he absolutely cannot be the world's strongest swordsman if he can't even make his captain become the Pirate King. That's his trial because the King of the Pirates would want nothing less than the world's strongest swordsman, at his side.
I believe there is much more than swords and Kuina. Zoro has an opportunity to have extreme character development and a past with greater depth, Oda shouldn't waste it.

That past for Zoro is anime-only which we now have confirmed through SBS. Zoro was a native of Shimotuki village and a descendant of its founders. i didn't need an any ally bruh if i have this man on my side , his loyalty it's something barelly rare to find especially nowaday. that kinda sad knowing eventually any relationship just always come out with self-benefits.
Did Zoro go out to sea at 16? I feel like he was probably more like 17/18 years old at the time. He didn't look that much younger when he left the dojo, and I can't see Zoro staying in the East Blue for 3 whole years. 1 - 2 years makes more sense imo.
luffy doubted himself so many times since childhood man, Zoro also had confidence enough to face worlds strongest swordsmen(Mihawk) as early as baratie instead of saying "nah it is too soon" which black beard always does. also this is on the assumption that conquorors haki is stemming from confidence, but that is not at all the case man cause it is smth genetically passed down besides needing to awaken it on their own. likr Kaido an he is devoid of confidence in a sense cause he arguably has the biggest L's in the onepiece verse and also fears living (sucide hobby ans even planning world destruction cause he is too scraed to live long) but he has concuoros haki just fine so man your points are qute negated based on canon stuff and my perosnal bias and speculation combined.
I disagree with Zoro’s character Development. Many kids say that because Zoro told Luffy if he make trouble for his dream of wss he will kill Luffy And Later Zoro sacrifice his Dream for Luffy. They say Zoro was a selfish character and become selfless for that reason 👆 I told and they said Zoro had a character Development because this change about Luffy. Really what a bad and Nonsense reason for character development. Zoro hasn't change at all Zoro in Thriller bark Just Choose between His dream of wss for kuina not for his selfish dream just for kuina and Luffy's dream.and first mate just how much Zorofans disrespect other Strawhats Loyalty. There is No need for firstmate since all of strawhats are so much Loyal to Luffy I am pretty sure if Nami and Usopp and all other If they were that much Strong like Zoro they would sacrifice like Zoro in Front of Kuma.Usopp only fought Luffy because of that special situation Usopp just Loved going merry so much even like a nakama Yeah He was wrong for fighting his captain and Leave the crew but only one time and Going merry was a nakama for him and he just can't Accept the facts.I am pretty sure if Luffy Bring back Usopp without Apology I'm pretty sure if Luffy were to bring Usopp back into the group without an apology, the crew wouldn't fall apart and there wouldn't be any problems because the Straw Hats are all fiercely loyal to each other and this was just an exception. Zoro fans only Without logic, they insult the loyalty of the rest of the Straw Hats.
I'm not big OP fan. Zoro....was what kept me watching. I also wanted to be the best musician, and leave my mark on music for ever. I haven't made it yet...but I will ...maybe for just Mr.
Zoro is your typical loner swordsman we see in almost every anime. He's a great foil for other characters, but not a great character in and of himself. Zoro is like the basic knight in every fantasy quest setting: important, but dull.
Bro you're tripping. Zoro faces enemies he stands no chance against with the full intention of defeating them. Mihawk, Oars, Kuma, Kaido, he never truly doubts himself or lacks confidence. Mr 1 was unbeatable but the whole time Zoro fought to win. I just don't agree at all. Good try tho.

I subbed to you to flex on Lord Nuxanor for not making this video for the G.O.A.T B.A.M.F swordsman!
He reminds me a little of Luisa from encanto
i didn't need an any ally bruh if i have this man on my side , his loyalty it's something barelly rare to find especially nowaday. that kinda sad knowing eventually any relationship just always come out with self-benefits.
He is the dude
Did Zoro go out to sea at 16? I feel like he was probably more like 17/18 years old at the time. He didn't look that much younger when he left the dojo, and I can't see Zoro staying in the East Blue for 3 whole years. 1 - 2 years makes more sense imo.
I refuse to understand zoro from anyone but nux
Just saying roronoa sounds badass
Best character
luffy doubted himself so many times since childhood man, Zoro also had confidence enough to face worlds strongest swordsmen(Mihawk) as early as baratie instead of saying "nah it is too soon" which black beard always does. also this is on the assumption that conquorors haki is stemming from confidence, but that is not at all the case man cause it is smth genetically passed down besides needing to awaken it on their own. likr Kaido an he is devoid of confidence in a sense cause he arguably has the biggest L's in the onepiece verse and also fears living (sucide hobby ans even planning world destruction cause he is too scraed to live long) but he has concuoros haki just fine so man your points are qute negated based on canon stuff and my perosnal bias and speculation combined.
Spoiler zoro has conqer haki
Inshallah ill be eating good food in the next life

Zoro is easily top 35 strongest anime character ever and doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.
A bit of an overstatement buddy.
Stfu
@@socioexecutor1800 why are you booing him he’s right
Well then make a video explaining a character who's deeper than that instead of just saying "you're wrong" with no actual argument to back this up.

I do think that saying Zoro is the deepest character in anime is a bit of an overstatement
I'm not big OP fan. Zoro....was what kept me watching. I also wanted to be the best musician, and leave my mark on music for ever. I haven't made it yet...but I will ...maybe for just Mr.
That's a lie, Zoro has emerse self belief & confidence.
Worst analyse ever. Aged like milk.
Zoro is your typical loner swordsman we see in almost every anime. He's a great foil for other characters, but not a great character in and of himself. Zoro is like the basic knight in every fantasy quest setting: important, but dull.
zoro is bland and mid
Far from. That
Bro you're tripping. Good try tho.
hes a mid character and everyone thinks hes the greatest in onepiece and i dont understand how. hes just a decently written character with nothing that really stands out, he has cool moments and people think that coolmoment=great character or something. oda is amazing at story telling and scenery but those factors dont make zoro anything greater than sanji or luffy
