I think the Varg is really in a class to itself so far. But I agree it would be in this companies best interest to start trying to deliver what they’re promising. I’d be prrrretty disappointed if I ordered a bike that’s supposed to have a top speed of 75mph and turns out it only will do 50 or weighs 100lbs more than originally promised!

Well right off the bat,Sonders has a very bad reputation. when Sonders first started making e-bikes they were taking orders and taking orders and taking orders and it literally took them several years before they started shipping anything. people actually thought the whole thing was a rip off, but it wasn't and eventually they did start shipping their bikes. so to order from Sonders, who knows when you'll get it. so if you're in a hurry to get an electric motorcycle,pick another brand. sonders specs are not that good and their reputation sucks

Have a good friend that rides in pro series and he says no one will run electric if they want to win a race. I tried to get him to look at an electric dirt bike and he just laughed. 🤷♂️
Unlike the Sondors street bike the dirt bikes are not hub drives. Electric bicycles and electric cars are viable but electric motorcycles fall far short of ICE motorcycles. They're more expensive and they underperform.
@@davinadavidson9062 No, I don't think so. The Sonders street bike can go 80mph but only for a few minutes. My $5300 ICE motorcycle can go 150 miles at 80mph and refills in minutes. See the problem?
@@georgekrpan3181 you are right. They can get away with it in cars because most people are not affected by the weight of electric cars. But for a E motorcycle to compete with an ice moto. It’ll need to have at least 200lbs of battery.
The problem electric motorcycles have that electric cars don’t have is aerodynamics. Motorcycles ice and electric are not aerodynamic or rather the rider is not aerodynamic. The rider is a brick. Electric cars don’t have this problem. Even ice bikes have the problem of wind resistance but less so because gasoline is very power dense/weight as where battery are less dense/weight. So that’s the issue. Its people. People are always the problem

The metabeast x can be registered..it ships ready to plate they advertise it like that. The cheaper one is off-road only

A gas dirt bike isn’t street legal and you’re going to pay about 8k for a top end bike
"Max speed 50 MPH" "max range 44 miles" why would anyone want to buy that over a gas powered bike?
