    Is there a way to connect to a shower hose? My apartment has tamper proof aerators.

    • @donnamaco1
      @donnamaco1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your aerator might be tamper proof (not able to override the water saving feature) but you still may be able to remove the aerator. The aerator may need a key. If this is the case then you will be successful in attaching you quick connect. Some aerators are not removable, but most are.

    For some reason, when I attach the hose to the quick connect, a little water is scraping from the back. That doesn't seem right. The quick connect came with a small and big thread. I need help.

      If the faucet adaptor that shipped with our product doesn't fit your faucet, you will need to obtain an additional adaptor to allow it to attach to your faucet.
      The first step to identifying the adaptor you need will be to identify the type and size of your current aerator.
      If your aerator is hidden from view, tucked inside the faucet, it is likely a Cache Aerators. A small plastic tool to remove the Cache Aerators would have come with the faucet that contains this style of aerator.
      There are four different sizes of the cache aerators. If you google cache aerator sizes, you can locate videos to help you identify the correct aerator and it's thread size.
      The more common aerator is visible at the end of the faucet. They come in three different sizes. If you google faucet aerator sizes, you can locate videos to help you identify the correct aerator and it's thread size.
      Of the three sizes, our adaptor fits the standard adaptor size, which is actually one of two sizes. Our adaptor has 15/16-27 male thread as 55/64-27 female. In order to access the female thread, you need to remove one of the two washers inside the adaptor.

      @@MagicChefUSA What is the correct quick connect if you do not have a standard faucet? Standard faucets are measured using Imperial measurement but in the case of manufacturers like MOEN Faucets, they are using Metric measurements. How do I know which quick connect accommodates MOEN RINZA 84627? There should be a human out there that knows which one to purchase.

      Turn the water off at the faucet. Then wait 1 to 2 minutes for the pressure to decrease, then remove the quick adapter from the faucet.
