@FlawedOffroad nah bro don't change anything I don't know how I've missed this channel all year I bought my Jeep a year ago and somehow just found you I've been binge watching so keep up the good work
I remember when Troy (the owner of badlands) bought a ford raptor right after they came out and launched it off one of the dunes and broke it immediately 😂. If I remember right, he broke the frame. He was friends with my step dad David Wilhoite who passed away awhile back unfortunately. Glad to see the park is doing good. Haven’t been there since probably 2008ish.
Consider going to a 5000 lb trailer axle. Way larger bearings and brakes. You have to change wheels though, 6 bolt. I've been in your exact spot. Anyway I went with 16" truck tires at the same time. No more tire, bearing or stopping issues. The only bummer is paying for it!
I had borrowed that trailer, thats the worst part! its 4' longer than mine. Mine also has 3500lb axles but its a 2020 and much better shape haha. Just so short only 16' deck. I checked the other wheels on his trailer and they all were too loose in the bearing department
The night runs were my favorite. People used to sneak into the park out back and we’d have to chase them off. Good times. I miss those days. Is dead man’s hill still around? Or did they shut it down?
@ it would be off the main strip towards the back of the park. Where the sand meets the tree line. It was a vertical climb for about 100 feet if not more, into the woods. I know they were talking about shutting it down but not sure they ever did. Not many ever attempted it.
That would be my dog Dixie, she is a farm dog used to being free around vehicles and tractors.i felt she was safe as any of the rest of us. I can appreciate you caring for animals.
This is literally the best off-road channel especially for Jeep YJ guys I have ever found. Definitely subscribed
@@Yelladog78 dude thanks so much! I get a little off topic sometimes but I try to keep it interesting.

That yota on TSLs was impressive!
Yeah it was! He recently upgraded to EFI from the carb since this video so it wont try to die so much on hills now.
32:26 when it rains alot that parts usually under water if you go out there look at the trees they all have a water line on them
By the tubes? I've been there when it was a couple feet deep
@FlawedOffroad no down in that lower section at the time of the video
great attitude on mishaps. It's all part of the adventure! and that is something that i've had to come to terms with too.
They call me captain mishap

Another great video bud. Makes me want to get back out again soon.
We really need a build/builder bio on the black Toyota that made it up V notch!

@@Alaskabuilt_ Yeah im not sure but theres plenty of other nasty climbs there
My 10yr old daughter is also my filmer and she says the funniest stuff.on camera

People need to stop bringing dog's when off roading. If you wouldn't let a 2 year old be in that situation, don't put a dog in that situation.
@@justicefornone3411 I have went offroad with my kids when they were that young too 🤣 The dog is happy as can be and you’re complaining why?
The dog had more fun than most of us out there.
