sometimes I get stucked with production and your videos help me to unlock my senses and get on work! I hope everything’s good for you! cheers from Argentina 🇦🇷
I started doing this on my channel recently -- giving myself 15 or 20 minutes to make a quick beat, but using only the akai s950 and the mpc 3000. It's amazing what happens when you give yourself a few restrictions, a genre, and some funky equipment that gets the job done. Peace from Oakland,
this is an incredible beat and a great video aesthetically, Liked and subscribed! I never had a hobby or any talents potentially discovered. Getting by my mental ailments is particularly hard because of this, I've had a big love for 90s hip-hop growing up, soo much so that my friends picked up on it along with my passion for music, and pushed me to learn how to make music on Ableton. dozens of tutorials and hours of practicing and I'm slowly getting the hang of it. One of them even gave me a launchpad (haven't used it much cause finger drumming is hard af), I'm going to keep pushing myself to the point I'm able to get myself an MPC, I'm soo fascinated by this piece of tech. Anyways sick video man, looking forward to browsing through your content. Hope you're having a great day!

@@engin3ar yeah, so I have all 8 ins and outs of my Apollo connected to it, and I also have all 4 ins and all 4 outs of my MPC connected to it, then I have my turntable routed through it, all my synths, and my rhodes, as well as a mic preamp that I keep in a rack in another part of the room to mic up guitar amp and bass amp. Then if I want to record the rhodes, for instance, directly into Ableton, I just route it to one of the ins of my Apollo. But if I want to route the rhodes to my MPC to sample it, I switch it to the ins of the MPC, right from the front of the patch bay without having to ever unplug anything from where it sits in my studio. One of the best investments I’ve made. And it’s totally noiseless.
Great jam as always. When are we getting an overview/jam on that Minibrute 2S casually chilling next to the Live 2? Curious synth heads want to know, lol.
Great beat! On a side note have you ever considered the mpcstuff fat pads? I've always thought they look really appealing but I know it could be a risky install

Have you got a video on making the drums used bro ? Really struggling with getting drums to have that low end and the snap crack shortened snare ...

Yeah this one was straight inspiration. Last week I sprung for the patch bay which changed my life. This week you got me back in the crates digging.
How are you using that, just connecting and switching between a lot of different sources?

X and analogue heat ...
Ay boy what's that ish to your right handside ?
Hey Marlow? Will you ever get emcees to ryhme over your beats? That would be dope...
Maybe, not planning on doing it but sounds like a good thing to do.

I have two offers. 1 mpc live1 for 450 and sp 404mk2 for 380. What should i buy? I want to make boombap Beats.
If you ask me, mpc Live
Nice
Great beat! On a side note have you ever considered the mpcstuff fat pads? I've always thought they look really appealing but I know it could be a risky install
i've installed some fat pads in my mpd24 and they feel and look awesome, but idk if its possible for the mpc live
@@Pnkfrmg yeah they make them for the live but it's a really risky install. Lucky for me I built a pc so that experience must make it abut easier

This is not a boom bap, boom bap should swing, powerful percussion, bass, kicks and snare drums. And what you do is background music, lo-fi, etc.
