I still have the orginal PC cd game for this that came with my Packard Bell in 1997 and in the file directory you can find these tracks, I think they are in wav format. This music is some of the most relaxing ever and I loved playing this game in part just to listen to the music.
This music is so full of soul and meaning. Perfect for writing scenes where a character thinks deeply about something or discovers something amazing. I like the songs so much.

Y'all know that TH-cam compresses the audio of all uploads, right? At this time there is no lossless audio on TH-cam. There are people over here lying to themselves that they are listening to high res music like, "this sounds amazing on my $500 high res FLAC player and my $1000 cans, " but they're listening to an mp3 whose quality depends on the quality of their connection. Lol. Either way great upload. I love every version of the Ecco soundtrack.
You are right. But it's always better to be sure that the uploader used original files. You know that the sound is AT least original quality when uploaded. Beside that, 192 kbps sucks here.
@@Benjeta it doesn't sound terrible as it is, but this is something i see in the comments of music uploads all of the time. People need to know that if its on TH-cam, its not lossless. I'm sure that there is some kind of benefit to uploading a lossless file vs an old mp3, but the quality caps out somewhere It would be awesome if the uploader linked a download to the original files.
