This is actually really strong - I've listened to so many other covers, and when seeing the level with the corresponding music... it sounds nothing like the music from the game. This on the other hand is awesome. The Undercaves... love it.
I keep coming back to Reshidove's take on Time Travel. It tickles my nostalgia bone really hard for some reason that I can't quite place, more than anything else in this (excellent!) collection.
I would fork over *GOOD MONEY* to see an "Ecco the Dolphin" movie on the big screen. No human dialogue,(unless perhaps recordings of ancient Atlantians)just subtitles accompanied by clicks, whistles and whale song. Doing battle with an aquatic alien race would be *EPIC* !!!
Same! I also want a Ecco the dolphin movie with the same story as the game, of course it must have dialogue between the dolphins and other sea creatures but kept at a minimum
I love this so much! These remixes give me chills, especially as someone who adores the games and uses the music to study. These would work so well as a film soundtrack! And I never even knew a xylophone could give me chills! And I love the eeriness of some of these, and the inclusion of the occasional dolphin noise. Every one did an amazing job; I know this was released a while ago, but I want to say you did an awesome job! Definitely put me in a mood to play same Ecco.

This entire album was magical. Also, that Sea of Darkness remix? *chef kiss* EDIT - I commented earlier before finishing the entire album. I *had* to talk about that title remix at the end by Ruclefia. That was absolutely magical, and a true joy to listen to. Thank you all again for your creativity and hard work.
Welcome to the Machine was brilliant! Loved the Pink Floyd in there. I feel like PF definitely had an influence on that track (I mean, they took the name and all), and some of the other Ecco music. This is great, thanks to everyone who worked on this album. Thanks for uploading.

I was expecting 2 hours of Gregorian chant covers, what a disappointment! Everyone did an awesome job on this one. It really captures the feel of the games. I appreciate the wide range of different approaches to covers, without straying too far from the underwater vibe either. I think this is one of the cleanest albums released so far.
This adds so many more layers to the ever enchanting, mesmerizing and even downright creepy story that is Ecco the Dolphin. This music is truly inspired by genius and heart and I appreciate it immensely. This has also been a most compelling soundtrack for me to draw to. These artists should be very proud of themselves and keep up their gorgeous work!
I found the fast portion was a bit juxtaposed to the chillest part of the song and felt out of place, but the rest was fuego and it is the song I most return to

Time Travel and Jurassic Beach. Atlantis Lost was so dreamy and epic it sent shivers down my spine.💞 I was sorta hoping to see Trellia's Bay, Moray Abyss and Aquamarine Bay but I understand they can't do every song. I like the underwater, animal and ice noises the artists added.
Ah man so many good tracks 😲 I really enjoy the opening track, Rexy's track and Edirico's track to name a few. I'm not all that familiar with the Ecco soundtracks to be honest, but it seems to me like whenever VGM cover artists tackle tracks with themes based on one of the four elements it goes far beyond what we usually hear in our community. Kudos all you fantastic ppl who put in that extra mile to realize this album 😏

i wonder how many people thought of adding lyrics to any. or if there would be another tribute album. make the songs into other feels. like Flaminco or "boyband" song. or something to sound like a magic girl show's theme song. good to see "tressure caves" here. would be great to know what some of the unused would of been. maybe alternitive credits? had a dream i or i as someone else was putting lyrics to "welcome to the machine" and I had never thought of making it some kind of rap or anything

This seems to be actual remixes of the game music, nice With all respects to the original game composer, the album Songs of Time is nice but consists of new tracks, not the game music

With all respects to the original game composer, the album Songs of Time is nice but consists of new tracks, not the game music

@@PixelMixers Now that I've looked into it, Songs of Time seems to be arrangements of the Sega CD soundtrack version so it's nice to have remixes of the Genesis version too
