Jedha Patrol great video. Have you had any issues with your detolfs on top of the mosjo stand? Says weight limit is 99lbs. And detolfs are like 80lbs each.
Do you have to screw the Detolf cabinet into the wall? I live in a studio apartment and my landlord does not want me to put screws in the wall. Also, how big of an issue do you have with dust? Looking for Display options for limited wall space when I can not put shelves on the walls.

Thank you for sharing your work and ideas. We bought and put together three Detolf cabinets, strip lighting, and a custom made bottom riser base, this weekend. Thanks to your advice the display case could not have come out any better. The idea to rise the cabinets, and use a remote/phone plug really made a difference... Thank You

Looks fantastic. I will borrow the two floating shelves idea for my computer room. I collect Mezco and Figuarts 1/12.......and I’ll put them on those shelves.
Since we don't have an Ikea near here (takes almost 2 hours to drive there), I didn't even think to look for display cabinets there. Went on the website and see lots of things I could use when I finally get a space to display my collectibles. The local stores are very expensive, so would be worth it to take a day and go to Ikea. Thanks for this video! Great ideas!

You should check out tresco lighting.They are a little expensive but there stuff is nice and a lot of it is just plug in.

Storm King black foam weather proofing strip rolls. Cuts the dust buildup bigtime.
Hey, I’m assuming you bought extra connectors. Because The two that I bought did not have enough connectors in order to connect my 4 strips on that same cabinet
I’ll be following your build almost exactly Ryan,but with a few changes mainly on how I’ll be lighting the display cabinets,I’ve already had the lighting behind my computer monitors.
My figures will not all be Star Wars though so it won’t be an exact replica of your setup lol.
I was amazed also on Amazon the same detoffs are $250 or more
That shelf in the wall is a must! R.I.P my wallet when I go to my nearest ikea i'm also getting me another detolf they are great nice displays btw I subbed.
The cubes from Ikea also work for elevating the Detolfs off the floor. They work well if you only have a single Detolf.
Which cubes are you referring to? Can I have a model name? Because it is exactly what I am looking for.

Finally got my first Detolf display, went to Home Depot to get these lights. Buyer beware you can not get the color changing ones! They come in a pack of 4) 12” strips just like the standard ones. ( I bought them for the ‘dim’ function ) They only have two large connector wires and one small 3” connector making it impossible to hook your lights up on each shelf like everyone does. Returning them tomorrow, hopefully the standard ones work better!

Just to give you an update as of 4/28/23 the Detolf cabinets are running at 129.99. just bought 2 myself.

It's a great thing that you show how to get your set-up. I actually have one of those Big Bang Theory figures. I have Leonard in the Star Trek uniform. Got it for free from Entertainment Earth. Great video and set-up. Recording in public is awkward. It felt awkward filming at the comic con I went to.

Did you notice any bowing from the TV stand? I'm concerned with the weight of two detolf
positive they definitely hold up good..as of now i got an ikea Detolf filled with gundam model kits standing on a mainstay(cheap walmart brand) nightsand flipped sideways for the last 2 months and its holding good hahahaha..jst waiting for my local ikea to reopen and do the same as in this vid XD

Yeah i bought a tv stand from Ikea called "BYAS" and added 3 Detolf's on top. Its been 5 months and it still holds up strong, I highly recommend the purchase. Raising the Detolf's on a stand & adding LED"s makes an amazing difference. You definitely wont regret it.

LOVE YOUR SET UP...Thanks for tips...just got back from IKEA...got the Linnmon/Alex combo and 2 detolfs or detolves (I don't know how to spell the plural of it...8P). I'll get the 2 Mosjo and the other 2 Detolfs/Detolves some other time because they didn't fit in my car... Anyway, thanks again for the tips...:)

The floating shelves looks great how do you wallmount them and how many pop's can it carry or weight it carries great video and love showcase displays I have one myself but it's twice as big and it carry's some matrix and spawn and pops

How much weight does the masjo hold on top? Seems like the 2 detolf cabinet would be too heavy for it? Only asking cause I just bought some detolf cabinets.

Nice set up, can you adjust the shelves inside the glass display, so it would fit 1/4 statues?? About 23”, so would be 3 sections instead of 4.

Jedha I need your help! I bought the commercial LED lights from Home Depot like in this video and I have 4 ikea detolfs. The connections that came with my lights are 2 pretty long ones and a really really short one. So I’m not able to get all 4 strips on all 4 shelves. I don’t know what to do
question, why not putting the led strip on the side of the display on the cabinet front metal bars?
Because side lighting isn’t as flattering

Do you think the glass cabinets are too heavy to stand on top of the mosjo or is it just right? I bought two glass cabinets and one mosjo and I’m afraid they might break it but yours seem perfect
I am pretty sure this unsupported mosjo won't be able to hold two fully loaded glass detolfs for the long term. The concequences will be catastrophic.
