Join us on our summer road trip in Wales, we stop off at stunning canyon then head north to find the secret infinity pool!
This tranquil location has fantastic views over the pass, we arrived just after sunrise and watched as the early morning mist passed through, before long the sun came beaming over the hill top and transformed this breathtaking pool into a private paradise, it remains peaceful thanks to its secluded and secretive location, this keeps it beautiful and stops it from being overwhelmed.
A farmer built this pool as a green energy project, it is not drinking water as some claim, he has publicly announced he does not mind people visiting as long as they take all their litter with them and don't cause noise pollution here late at night.

Apologies for the music on this video during both sets of drone footage, we originally used a piece of music that was advertised as copyright free and unfortunately it ended up being a scam and they copyrighted us!
We've had to use the youtube editor to replace the music so we were very limited to what we could choose, couldn't fade it in or out or change the volume 😅 We now use an app for music so this won't happen again! 😄

Thar was just beautiful. I am immobile due to chronic arthritus and even walking for me is out of the question and so a video like this is like being taken on a walk. I love Wales as well, so doubly special. What a gorgeous place. I’m so glad you were given a drone because your drone footage is a beautiful added bonus, I even love footage travelling in the car because it is all part of the trip! So beautiful. I used to climb Snowdonia in the summer, when I lived in Henllan. Did it at midnight once just to take photographs of the sunrise. It was amazing, one of the best I've seen. The water canyon looks amazing from the top, even more so with the colours of the rising Sun over it. They were so vibrant.

Ha it's a micro hydroelectric system. I've built them all over wales. Thats the intake/dam. Me and my colleagues have done a few around snowdon and that area. Always thought people would be against damming up the mountain streams but calling it an infinity pool definitely gives it a positive spin! Glad to see people enjoying our hard work.

When we were kids we all had favourite swimming spots in the rivers and lakes of Snowdonia.White rock was my favourite on the river Mawddach. Always icy cold
Congratulations you "found" a "Secret Infinity Pool" which is neither a SECRET nor an Infinity Pool!
That is the private drinking water source for the house you passed on the way up there!
So nice job swimming in someone's drinking water.
It’s a small scale hydro electric plant, nothing to do with drinking water

Alan Dawson do you have any evidence that it is drinking water? Even if it was, the water would need to be treated.

Alan Dawson the newspapers features a video of the landowner describing it as a hydro pool and that he doesn’t have an issue with people accessing it, and the newspaper references it as a hydro plant scheme. At the end of the day it would be treated if it would be used for potable reasons and the landowner has no issue with people accessing it as long as they leave no rubbish. Sorry if I’ve missed the point of your original comment which i think was that they shouldn’t access it because it’s private and drinking water but the private comment isn’t relevant as the landowner doesn’t have an issue and there’s no evidence to suggest it’s drinking water and if it was, it would be treated anyway.

Absolutely amazing content and love the mix up from explores to this more vlog style content. Bit of constructive “criticism” though although you have a beautiful voice Sam can we hear Jess do the voice over narrations. Jess’s voice is so calming and gentle not that yours isn’t mind haha. Be nice for Jess to come out of her shell more and less a video one day :). Keep up the amazing work guys.
This might not be your usual kind of video footage but, it was awesome because it was beautiful and you guys were still exploring. Plus, you both seemed to be enjoying yourselves. Thanks for taking us with you. I would never be able to hike there or anywhere. Guess by now you know it's not a swimming pool at all but a we're system to control the flow of the water on a farmer's land to bad people tearing it up already.

Have you been to the Blue Lake just South of Fairbourne. The cave entrance has been blocked off now tho due to littering. :) I was luck to go before then.

You don't show your start location. Do you have a grid reference for where you left the road, please? The only footbridge across the river I know is at Blaen Y Nant. Other than Nant peris further down the pass. Did you go over a metal footbridge across the river to begin with, or higher up the pass. I'm not a time waster. I have complete respect for snowdonia. That's a great video, wonder if it's someones drinking water source or hydroelectric. All that build up and no video from in the pool looking out over the infinity edge with the sun rising... :-)

I live in wales and its such a stunning place! I visited the first place last summer it was crazy busy when i went and unfortunately the water was all murky from all the people swimming in it and disturbing the sediment. And snowdonia, well what can i say, defo one of my favourite places on the planet! 🏴

Although it is undoubtedly beautiful. It's a water supply for houses downstream. Please don't advertise the location like this as the land owners are sick of people tresspassing on their property and contaminating the supply. There are some lovely pools on the opposite side of snowdon along the Watkin path that are not used for water supply, go there instead! :)

The place is really small and despite it being 'secret' it can get v busy in summer which also muddies the water. Snowdonia has so much more to offer!

Absolutely loved this video,made me hanker for mine and Hubby's b&b long weekends away in this fair isle,so loved all the scenery,stunning! Never knew that pool was there,what a gem. Jess in the pool looked like a Naiad,a water nymph from the painting " Hylas and the nymphs" by "John William Waterhouse". You were so lucky with that beautiful weather. Love the music too,just perfect.
