    Hello Hay and Kyle,
Thank you for going to the trouble of producing your footage. Llyn Idwal is a most amazing location to be, such a dramatic landscape.
I was solo camping and went there to fly fish, my passion. I took a photo looking into the armchair from the beach. It's a canvas now, up on my lounge wall. I need to see that view every day. It's so amazing. So is all North Wales, I adore it.
Did you notice the huge landscape looking up the A5 towards Bethesda? It's a huge valley and just reminds me of how tiny man is, in comparison. It's just amazing!
I envy you both. Both are happy together, doing the same thing, and sharing your lives together. That must be amazing. x.
Look after one another. Love and cherish each other. Some people go a lifetime and never find what you both have. Grab it and never let it go x. That's how precious what you have is. Never take it for granted x.
Love to you both and enjoy your lives.
Take care, best wishes, Ian x.

Beautiful! I have just finished reading a book called "The Snowdonia Killings" written by a man who lives in the area. the main character in the book has moved to the Colwyn area from Peckham, London and keeps going on about the views. We have visited two of this three spots 2008: Snowdon Mountain Railway and Llyn Idwal. Last one we (my wife and I) have orbited completly , second half with lots of rain. But it was so amazing! I always remember this with a deep smile! We got very wet, water in the shoes and so. I changed socks, shoes and shirt. Zipped down half of my trousers, so only shorts remain, bought a cup of coffee and felt nearly newborn!
    Loved it!

You could easily spend five or six days around Llanberis - from there you could hike Moel Eilio, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) via the Llanberis Path, Elidir Fawr, explore the brilliant Dinorwic Quarry including Anglesey Barracks. There is also a wonderful waterfall called Ceunant Mawr and all of these and more can be done without moving the car.
Ogwen Valley is one of our go to places. From there there's so much to do - Tryfan, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr and a whole range of Carneddau mountains. I get excited when talking about Eryri (Snowdonia) haha.
Nice pronunciation btw when saying Llyn Padarn - Welsh people love it when you try to pronounce the names so thank you

As you mention Charles Darwin visited Cwm Idwal in 1831 and observed that the large, scattered boulders at Llyn Idwal contained marine seashells which was a key aspect in his theory of how glaciation and movement within the earth's crust formed the mountain landscape, hence the name Darwin's Boulders, such a lovely area, it's an SSSI because of it's unique and diverse flora

There is also no such place any more. It has been officially stripped of its English name and is now only officially called Yr Wyddfa now.

brilliant video, I know that area very well after visiting for over 50 years, first trip on the rack and pinion railway when I was very young in the 60's with my old nan and grandad...such happy memories! I've never actually been on Llyn Padarn on the boats but I certainly will be!
you should try the walk up Snowdon, that would make a fab video.
    once again, brilliant video

Very nice vid, I am sorry yo say you never made it to the "devils kitchen", it is not, on the lake as you said, you are just looking down a bit at the lake, but the "DK" is way above and behind you, more or less over your left shoulders, its a very hard walk but hopefully you will get there some day.

❤❤❤ Incredible. Would love to see vlogging in Angelsey or maybe you've not released that yet🙏 My in laws retired in Angelsey 20 yrs ago so would love to see our fave places on your channel. We've just come back- this time went on a boat trip from Trearddur bay to South stack, seeing the beautiful geological patterned layers and sea caves. the sea cave under South stack had a seal in it. Went on the Salt tour at Angelsey sea salt, Whisky tour at Aber falls, up the great Orme, our 20th Anniversary Lunch at the Portmerion Hotel, Coastal walks on Holy island, Special places there are never ending. Still love the Peaks tho🤩

Wow, that sounds like a fantastic trip, you've mentioned several of our favourite places too, we love Anglesey Sea Salt and always go there for a coffee and a look around the shop 🤗 We did spend most of our time on Anglesey but didn't really film. We did however find an incredible place that was new to us both that we now want to return to, just to film :) It won't be the last you see of Wales and Anglesey on our channel. Thanks again for watching Zoy, always nice to chat in the comments ✌️
