How to Smoke a Tomahawk Steak on a Pellet Smoker, Seasoned, Smoked and Seared!

  • I've made a tomahawk on the channel before but never like this! We're seasoning it to perfection then smoking it until 120 F internal, and blasting it with a sear from white hot cast iron. You don't wanna miss this!

      Exactly the word that came to mind for me. But, I guess when you're on camera, things like that don't necessarily seep out of your subconscious when you're speaking.

    have one on the smoker one as we speak, except i finish mine on the grill to really sear the fat..... also prefer mine med/well 🤠

    Hey I have a question, if I’m doing 3 tomahawks at once. Do I need to change the temperature? Or still at 225?

      Nope. Keep the temp the same but it just might take a bit longer to get to internal temp, but then again it might not.

    Would a regular pan work for the searing or does it need to be cast iron?

      You could do a regular pan, just make sure it’s super hot.
