I remember when my mom used to cook beef soup when I was younger she always took out the marrow out of the beef’s bones and would put it on a crusty slice of bread with salt, I absolutely loved it. It’s so juicy and smooth, really tastes like “meat butter”
I’ve been watching you for months and just cooked my first tomahawk and everyone is wanting more. I appreciate you and Max the Meat Guy so much. I’ve learned a lot from you guys and can’t wait to learn more!
Guga I cooked 4 bones tonight along with my Spinalis steaks and I got rave reviews from the two kings and queens that I served. Thank you so much for the guidance of cooking the bone marrow. I just used SPG as recommended and two of the four served were blown away as they never ate the bone butter before. I served the bone marrow with slices of a toasted baguette with garlic infused olive oil. Thank you for your guidance!!
I think what I like about these videos is how much he likes what he cooks. There are a lot of chefs on television that I can’t tell if they eat what they cook.
I grow up with this. We use to boil the bone few hours then rub a slice of toast with raw garlic then spred the marow on the top, season salt and pepper.... The best think ever .
I love that you're humble enough on this channel as well as SVE to show your mistakes and not present things to us like you're perfect producing perfect products every time!
This video was AWESOME, I can only pray that one day I’ll experience this with my kids the way you did here. Including the bone marrow shots at the end :) well done Guga.
I've never done marrow bones like that, when i was taught to make beef stew (70's Alberta) it all started with morrow bones boiled in water with (for me) bay leaves, Italian seasoning a few pepper corns. After it's simmered for a while take the bones out and spread the marrow on toast with a sprinkle of salt. Loved the video
......ITS PRETTY GOOD!!!! Angels reaction was awesome lol, I want to try it but y'all said it was expensive and I live on a ramen noodles and canned food budget so yeah wishful thinking 😂
Buying bone marrow at a restaurant is fairly expensive and hurts the pocket, to to your local butcher, they’ll be far more budget friendly, plus you get to be Guga for an hour or two and work on your cooking skills!
In our household whenever we have a big cook up including meat me and my siblings usually fight over the bones cause you have all this delicious marrow inside it’s just heavenly. I end up eating the most cause usually they feel full after a few spoons of marrow 😂 It is delicious if you never tried it give it a try!
I've been forced in to becoming vegetarian because of health issues, but I've been binging your videos for DAYS. And just salivating over ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING
@Tom Silverheart the thing is that you cant overdo with garlic powder since it has only small amount of the acids that make garlic taste (not smell tho, only taste)... you will need allot of garlic powder to replace the same amount of taste that one clove of those "potent" garlic varieties has... garlic powder is all about aroma and raw garlic is all about taste...
Some of it is more very fine powder, and some is more granulated. I prefer the granulated, I think it has a superior smell and taste to the very fine white powdery stuff. Just look in the jar, is it blonde colored with a little grain and texture to it? Should be good if it is. I have "Market Pantry" brand from Target and it looks just like Guga's.

Yeah not true in FL. I was there once and in a bar once with my parents while underage.
