From Nespelem to the Inchelium Ferry Landing on the Colville reservation just over 50 miles. Road surface varies and logging truck kick up gravel in some of the corners.

I have lived in Washington state for over 20 years and have ridden motorcycles all over the state and the entire Pacific-Northwest for all 20 of those years. My riding buddies and I tour the Cascade Loop (Hwy 20 east over the Northern Cascades, SR 153 to Hwy 97 to Hwy 2) at least three times every riding season! This ride is full of beautiful scenery, well maintained road surfaces and fresh north cascade scents. We always start the ride on a Monday morning, as weekend traffic can be quite heavy. Do yourselves a favor and take this trip, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for posting this video, excellent as always!

Just did the Cascade Loop, coming from Darrington on 7/1 before moving to FL. What an epic way to conclude my time in WA state.
Another great one is Highway 2 from Monroe to Leavenworth (over Stevens Pass).
There is also Whidbey Island (western section of Highway 20), through Deception Pass.
So many great rides in WA state!

The north cascades highway is amazing. I rode over it about 20 years ago on my 1982 Suzuki GS 1150 E on laborday weekend. The road is closed in winter due to snow, so the road at that time was pool table smooth and 50 mph speed limit. No local cops, only Washington state patrol. Since you're pretty much in the boonies with no gas or towns for about 70% of the route there are limited encounters with the WSP. maybe 2, one on each side of the top of the pass. Ideal ride in summer, 4th and 5th gear roll on at 60 to 90 mph all day. Great ride. Views are spectacular. Bring some layers, it can get a bit nippy because you do get up pretty high.

I’ve done all the rides you had on this list and they are all great. I rode the Mount Baker Highway this past summer and I thought it surpassed all the other rides in Washington. Maybe anywhere.

Spirit Lake Highway - I can confirm this is a great and pleasant scenic ride.
North Cascades Highway - I haven’t done this one on a bike yet, but it’s a beautiful drive in a car.
Vancouver to Maryhill - This is an overlooked great ride!
Mt Rainier National Park - Another great ride. 240 miles round trip from Olympia…
Randle to Spirit Lake - This ride in addition to FR25 is my favorite ride so far in the State.
Rattlesnake I Pass - I haven’t done this one yet, but plan on it later this year.
The rides you picked are all nice. Not sure why you limited it to 6. The Olympic Peninsula has many routes including the ride to Hurricane Ridge.

@@Yowzoe The ride to Rialto Beach is good and another good ride is to Wynoochee Dam. To update above the North Cascades Highway is a fantastic ride, but it isn’t on the peninsula.

Tonasket to waconda over waconda pass to republic then over Sherman pass go north towards Canada and go west over boulder pass to Curlew then loop back towards waconda following toroda creek rd turning west on chesaw rd to chesaw. This will cover one of the most awesome riding roads in the USA. I have rode all these roads on a 2006 gsxr 1000. If you go there try to beat Tonasket to republic stretch in under 18 minutes it’s 41 miles😁

Some good rides listed, but definitely an incomplete list with out including anything from the Olympic Peninsula. Even if you just do the HWY 101 loop. Not to mention off shoot roads and the National Park. HWY 2 from Monroe to Leavenworth is always nice too.

You absolutely cannot include Maryhill without mentioning the Maryhill Stonehenge WW2 Monument just off hwy 14, 1/4 mi east of the 97 junction going to Biggs Junction/Goldendale. A must stop for anyone in the area, with amazing views of the Columbia River.

"rain forest" on hiway 20? No. Rain forest is only on the ocean coast/Olympic Natl Park.... The rest is your normal forest with some of it being old growth, except where logging or other changes occurred.
Otherwise, good info. Mt Rainier and N
Cascades always make these lists, but I'm surprised that Eastern WA doesn't get any love - there are some nice curvy routes along the WA/ID border, or a ride like up to Grand Coulee that goes through much different landscapes than you will see elsewhere. Rattlesnake pass was a nice suggestion in that regard.
