Sister Gretchen, I finally started my house and found out that you have to be a whole crazy person to do this. I thought about you the entire time but I'm up for the challenge I don't do social media and plan to figure out how to send you pictures, thanks for your dedication in helping us see something in everything we encounter, I'll keep you posted.
Sometime I wonder if I'm going nuts
@@almaharnett7416 I know what it is, she makes it look sooo easy, and I'm screaming " IF IT'S THAT EASY WHY AM I STARING BLANKLY AT THIS HOUSE LOL. I PLAN TO MAKE HER PROUD SO THAT MEANS I CAN'T GIVE UP NOW LOL SO DON'T YOU!

And I would totally love to see pictures you can either mail them to me!
Those beads you painted ended up looking a lot like some lamps my grandmother had back in the 70s. You did an amazing job on those.
Glad you enjoyed it Shari!! This was a really fun and simple project! Very satisfying!! Thank you for watching!!
The little lamps and jars are enchanting, but my favorite is the dear little cup. Gonna have to rummage through my various boxes and bags of "what are you keeping that for" to see if I might have similar items!
Adorable little lamps. I just love the flowers 🌸 you painted on them. That you for sharing. 💐
Beautiful painting on the lamps, not to mention the lovely lamps themselves! Truly the video that makes me smile and dream of my projects right before bed. ❤ Thank you!!!
Darling! Charming! Adorable! These are some of my favorite things to make. They come together so quickly and the possibilities are endless!
TFS, Kathleen ❣️
I love the flowers you put on the lamps. They look wonderful! You make it look so easy! I will have to practice that method!
Those lamps were awesome,so pretty, thank you for sharing your ideas with us
The idea of using toothpaste tops for lamp shades is genius, Gretchen. The lamps and other trinkets are just adorable.
LOLOLOLOL!! I have been doing that with toothpaste caps since I was a child! I makes me smile to know you like that!! Thank you for watching!!

Thank you !! YES I know which one you're talking about !! 💖💖💖
I always keep the caps from my hairspray (clear) and my husband's hairspray (pink) to use as lampshades or pots for plants. Gretchen, I received the tee shirt I ordered from you. I love it!🩷💕 It's pink, and it washed and dried beautifully.
I'm tickled to hear you love using common items to create with! YAY!! VICKI YOU GOT a T-SHIRT!!!! Thank you for your purchase!!!! I appreciate You!!!
Miss Gretchen would you happen to have a little shop where we could purchase your tiny treasures? The lamps are so beautiful and I loved how you painted the hurricane lamps. 🤗🤗💕💕

LOLOOLOL!!! I totally understand!!! I need to do another LIVE GIVEAWAY!!!
Hello Gretchen, your little oil lamps and pots are very cute, I do enjoy watching you play and create all the little extra bits and pieces for your houses. Have a great week.
Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊
amazing work. You have given me some great ideas for making lamps for my dollhouses.
I'm so glad to hear you are inspired Katia!!! I appreciate your feedback!
I love your creative mind so so smart
I have a couple of these lamps and love them! My current project is wartime Britain, but there was power rationing, so finding ways to eke out light without flipping a switch would have been good. I see a couple bead lamps in my future! Yours are so cute!
Those lamps are so pretty. They remind me of a couple of my own human sized lamps🥰. Now I will have to make my dolls some lamps. Thank you for the inspiration 🥰💐💐💐💐💐💐
These are so cute! I have been wiring my handmade lights for my walls and ceilings. These could also be wired for light, since beads have holes in the middles. I conquered soldering. The sky’s the limit for making lights when you know how to work with wire, solder and batteries.
They are all so cute! 😍 I especially love the little brass cup. 🥰 When I was decorating a 1:24 scale dollhouse for my niece, I used a couple of translucent pony beads with paper-fastener "lids"- amber for a honey jar and yellow-green for a pickle jar. Your solid bead looks great as a cosmetic jar, and the other jars are so pretty! 😊 I am absolutely obsessed with making tiny jars and bottles out of beads- maybe my next project ought to be a cosmetics store! 😄
Great idea!! 😃💯
Beautiful Sis❤
Absolutely adorable friend! ❤❤
You are so KIND THANK YOU 💖💖🥹😊
Yea, Gretchen! I was just looking at some nice small bone beads I have and wondering what could I do with them, and now I know they are cold cream jars for my Madame (it's her self-given French title, so not the the business kind) who likes to be pampered. She is nothing like me but I humour her. Actually, Madame is still not existing visibly, as I made a version of her in a large scale 20 years ago but have not made the doll house scale evolved version yet. I work in an organic manner, not a linear one. Also as you can see, I don't work very fast either.
It sounds like you have some wonderful ideas Maroulio!!! Yes bone bees will be perfect for Cold cream jars;!! I love the name madam that's really cute!!!! Keep me Posted I'd love to hear more!!
So creative!
They are so pretty. The painting really sets them off 😊
The lamps are cute!
Aren't these just some of the most fun things to make?!?! When I watch you and others make lamps I want to get out all my stuff. I would love to know how old you were when you made your first lamp? Oh I'm so glad to see you using those brass cups, I thought they were so cool. Looks like a little shaving cup. Love it all Gretchen! 🥰✨
Glad you like them! 😀 First lamp I made I was probably about 10! It was made of some brown wooden beads and I painted them pink and then drew the flowers I'm going to have to show it on the channel one day!
Your hands work magic into your miniatures. I can’t get my hands on the beads you use in between your big beads. Would you mind sharing where I can find them, please?
Yes of course! They listed as bead spacer or bead separater for jewelry. Alot of mine are from old broken jewelry. But they are sold any where craft beads are sold. I will put a link in the description of that video.
Thank you for watching!!
Love all these ideas!
I love that name,....what ever you are keeping those fore. 😂 sometimes I wonder myself
LOLOLOL!!! I'm so Glad you like that Alma!
The lamps and other little accessories look great. I use tooth paste caps for the lamps I’ve made too. They are perfect for lamp shades. 😊
Beautiful!
They are wonderful, Miss Margo loves her new lamp. Thank you so much. I love the hurricane lamps and how you painted them. I planned on making one and trying to light it up. Just to see if I can, but I definitely will add some non working lamps to my scenes. I really like how the paint looks vs. a decal. ❤🥰
I meant to tell you that is why your LAMP is not painted. I wanted to allow you the honor and the FUN!😀💖💖💖
@littlegretchensworkshop7665 Okay..🤗 I will definitely paint it! ❤️🥰❤️
So cute. Have you made any floor lamps? Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Hello Denise! Actually no i haven't! i do appreciate the suggestion! I'll add it to my list!! thank you for watching!!
Very helpful video Gretchen, you’ve made some beautiful little lamps, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Your lamps are beautiful and inspirational my friend!
I love your ideas so much !!❣️
Thank you so much!! 💖😃💖
Just found your channel and subscribed. I've spent several years accumulating dollhouse room kits, and supplies for customizing. You're right up my alley❤

Fantastico❤
❤ love this as usual, so adorable. I’ve managed to buy a huge Georgian doll house that I’m currently doing up, so thank you for the constant ideas. 🤩
That is AWESOME! What a Wonderful project! I'm so Glad You are enjoying THIS!! Take your time and have fun with it!!!
@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 I’m nearly done with the wallpaper in the hallways but I have tried everything other than superglue to hold up the lights in my other houses but they fall down, do you have any suggestions? I don’t want it happening in this house 🏠
As much as I liked the lamps, the constant footage going in and out of focus was just too much. The camera just had no idea on what it was meant to focus on half the time. Using auto focus when working with it that closely zoomed in needs to be at a fixed focus point to stop that from happening.
Because you have it so closely focused on your work space, there was no need for you to put your hands so close to the Camera with items in them, just hold your hand steady away from the camera long enough for people to see them. You moved them into close to fast and just as the camera focused it was gone and so it went back to a fuzzy picture.
I only say this because my brain has a problem where things like that causes headaches right behind the eyes, in my youth I was prone to fits where I blacked out, thankfully I grew out of them, but in its place certain movements and actions cause these headaches instead. I can’t be the only one who has this issue, anyone who suffers from vertigo would also be suffering with feeling sick because of this.
Please to others don’t jump up and down because of what I said with practise of controlling the camera focusing will improve the video footage and that leaded to more views in the long run.
I have been coming and going watching Gretchen’s videos for a long time and never said anything but this is an ongoing issue which is why I stop viewing her videos for a while with the hope maybe next time it will be better.
Thank you so much for your feedback and making more aware of how serious it can be. I appreciate your suggestions and advice. I apologize for your bad experience watching my content. I will practice more to improve..💖💖💖
