Very awesome - one of the best covers I have seen, period! What type of guitar equipment do you use? Because that is some pretty sick sustain, definitely noticeable in the tapping and sweeps. I am curious because that is where I am lacking.
I love the breaks, and splitting the video up shows everything right on. Absolutely amazing playing, fan of Unearth since the beginning I still believe this is their best song.
@Koshea2 - Thanks man, I listened to Bullet and ETF for ages but since I got into different bands and styles like this I would never go back. I think that maybe after a while you will get bored with BFMV and explore more into this music, but maybe not. If you're like me you will listen to almost anything!

The title of this video is not "This is the best song I can play" it is a cover played as close as I could get it at the time. I play guitar for fun, not to be the best guitarist in the world. If you want to give people shit for being bad at guitar then you are at the wrong video because this cover was made to inspire, entertain and to help people learn how to play this song.

@JackMcGuitar no problem and I also struggle with alternate picking in my opinion it's the hardest thing to master technique wise on the guitar. I'll check out those tabs too. keep up the good work!

@artfulfox not really man, I had been playing for 9 years before I learned this so to play it all except the solo is one hell of an achievment for you, seems as you've only played for 2! If you keep learning as fast as you are now I'm sure you'll have the solo in no time!
@10packtimbits Building up the speed for it took me a long time as well. Unfortunately I have no tips for you other than practice... keep playing that same intro every time you pick up the guitar and you WILL slowly get it full speed, it's just a matter of time and persistence
@hermafrotard Honestly, no I didn't, but the reason it might seem a bit scratchy is because I edited with Windows Movie Maker, which isn't ideal for video editing and it makes the frame rate seem variable as if some frames are skipped and others played twice. That happens in all my covers but mostly in my cover "The Jesters Dance" which it almost looked like my hand was teleporting around the guitar neck haha
Ah JackMcGuitar you did it once again, you sounded great. However I still can't compare you to the original since we have different styles of music (except BFMV). Sounded great and can't wait for the next one.
@GuitarGuySamurai Thanks for the tip man I just looked them up then. I have actually been looking at getting different strings lately. I was looking up Elixir but they dont come in the guage I want, which is about 11-54...The closest they have to that is only 10-52 and 11-48 or something. How are the boomers different the E-Ball?
@irishdragon735 - You say "..get so accurate so quick" ? It took me 9 years to get to here!! haha so I dont think it was "quick". And this song took me nearly a month to learn.
@demonfoxnetwork I just have to be extra careful when I record it that I don't do anything that I wont be able to do again. I often make mistakes and have to redo the video which can be frustrating, especially when it sometimes takes about 10 attampts.

@xGUITARZEROx It is an EMG-81 on the bridge and EMG-85 on the neck. You do not hear my amp in this video, just my pedal (Zoom G7.1ut) which is directly connected to my laptop in order to get higher quality sound.
@AStandardHero Thanks dude! That sucks about your finger man. Well good luck with it. I guess I'm just lucky that my fingers are quite long and skinny because it definately does help. Buts its funny, my fingers on my left hand are a tiny bit longer than my right because I constantly stretch them when I play guitar haha.

@JackMcGuitar Yeah they do use 7 strings but, there's nothing wrong with playing a 7 string riff on 6 strings. I used to do it all the time until I got a 7 string :) I think I'm going to grab an 8 soon as well.
@MrFluffay I don't know too much about guitars. I think in the end it's just a matter of trying them all out and comparing them and deciding which one you like best. I'll take a look at those links and tell you what I think but make sure that you try them all out yourself aswell.
u remind me of my guitarist. Good bassist are hard to find and seems like everyone plays guitar bcuz theres more satisfaction when playing it alone so thats why i chose the bass when i was 14. Im gonna put my victor wooten cover "classical thump" on here!!!!

Well I have to record the audio seperate to the video because I dont have 3-4 cameras to film all at the same time.I record onto audacity and I then edit the video by syncing the clips in time with the audio using Windows movie maker. Then I simply render the video and upload it.

@darknessofmadness Yeah I thought I would try something a bit harder for a change. Now I have shown myself playing at the best of my ability, unlike some of my other covers such as starting over or Deliver us from evil.
@jameswaller15 - The only thing I struggle with in TWIO is with the sweeping, there is string skipping which for some reason I have huge difficulty with, but the rest of the song I can do.

@GaaGerzGuitar I believe for this particular song it is just B, standard 7 string tuning. But songs like "The March" are in G or similar.
