IDK why but your reaction on this is hotter than ever. Thanks everyone Note: If this gets 40k views I’ll try making some tone tutorials :) Another note: my strandberg is currently having rear pickup issues :( as soon as it gets fixed, I'll start making.
Big same. I feel like even if all of their stuff is really good, they peaked with this album and this song especially, and they've never put out stuff to this level since (again, without discrediting how good the other stuff they've done is as well).
your color grading and shots are fantastic. I esp liked the one at 1:27 facing the light. also the subtle complementary colors between the blue screen and tan hoodie is great
Amazing! Absolutely incredible! Nice camera angles, moody lighting, and awesome playing! The tapping part was my favorite. It was sooo smooth. You deserve way more views and subs! Keep it up man!❤🎉
absolutely not. physical difference between iPhone and full-frame camera is huge. but you can try color grading for similar colors. search apple log that is built in to your iPhone. btw I used Panasonic S5 and 50mm 1.2 lens
im gonna start doing some covers soon and i would like to know: do you use just the regular song as a backing track? or a version with removed guitars? or you did it all from the ground up, programming drums and bass?
I always loved this as Spencers song, but actually being able to hear the guitar really opened my eyes. Hate how they are mixed into the background on their releases. Great tone and playing, but disappointed in that dent!!!
Man, what are you doing to get that tone? I have the exact same guitar, but High gain causes an immense amount of overtones. It sounds pristine with any clean or dirty clean, but it sounds like trash when I use a high gain amp. Any help would be appreciated!
since you have the same guitar, fluence voice 2 would be better for the tight rhythms. and huge amount of gains are not that helpful for 'Djenty' tones. try lowest gain as possible to chug. lower the gain, pick harder. and for the 8-string, to use too thin gauges makes you hear nothing but shitty buzz. at least use .74 or thicker. I used .74 and it did not satisfy me. I recommend .80
Well.. I have used EMGs quite long time ago. Since then it’s been a long time not using active pickups. High gain rhythms are very tight on voice 2, but just kinda too much on voice 1. But voice 1 has quite a punch in cleans and leads. Also thump tones. So you have to choose between those by situation and these bothered me quite a bit. And split tones are.. just not quite there… Idk it feels unnatural for me. But if you are looking for ice cold cleans, this is it. If you want headless, i think strandbergs are iconic enough to buy. Without considering all that stuff to choose.
Keep in mind the active vs passive Fismans. I have four 8 string Strandbergs (each with a different pickup) and I really dig them. To my ears they just have a very digital/modern and almost 3 dimensional sound to them. I think they're wonderful. I bought my first Metal 8 and just had to own more (I have 10 total now). Four 6 strings, four 8 strings, one 4 string and one 5 string bass.
@@p.h_il Ok, sick. Thank you, that answers all of my concerns perfectly. I recently tried the diamond pickups that come in the newer Schecter Demon 7 and was pretty pleased with the midrange clarity and bite from really bearing down on the low end around drop G#. "Articulately gnarly" is most succinct way I can describe it, after a little dialing in Abasi and throwing a bit more fabfilter flair on it. Combine guitars put out a new multiscale 8 string headless kit for $360 USD. I'm gonna have to throw either Lundgrens, SD Noumenons, or Nazguls in it and call it a day. Apparently the overall fit and finish once assembled and given a little TLC is fantastic. Will report back before too long if I make the plunge

You should do one without lyrics . Really unique style to this song added your own flavor. Like to hear it better if you have a link
hey man great cover!! Can you explain what kind of delay did you use for the clean intro part
dotted 8 and simple 1/4 delay on built-in delay of Archetype Nolly
Amazing cover! What settings did you use to get that clean tone in the intro? Has to be one of my fave clean tones ever
Compressor did
