I have a set of the smooths on my Black Abyss barrels. I dig 'em. Think they were the first non-Sniper or non-Storm specialty points I bought. Now I treat points like barrels, strive to try out as many brands as possible.
When it comes to specialty points, the manufacturer's can thank you for the uptick on sales. I have pretty near changed all of my points after watching your videos over time, both the reasoning as to why it's better and how to do it. The red dragon chrome I've tried and they won't stay in the board hardly at all. I have to take them out of the board before I pick one up off the floor floor so they don't fall out and impale the back of my head. Lol
Only thing I don’t like about RD and winmau is that they aren’t consistent on how they measure speciality points…Freeflo are total length, venom points are the total length and these seem to be length from shoulder forward
Thanks for this! I saw them at my local shop and their price is basically the same as the target storm nano points (a bit more expensive than what I prefer). I have 2 questions: - is this 1 g weight bigger than a usual non specialty point with similar length? - How does that smooth gold one stick to the board? Tbh I always have some doubts about smooth, not black points, I have very bas experience with silver (normal) points.
The 1 gram weight is generally a bit heavier compared to a normal point but it's not enough where it's noticeable unless you're changing to a really long point. The gold points stick REALLY well. I typically use gold points in my match darts.
I've got the 38mm version of those points because I like a longer point, also the darts you were using looked like Penetrator darts as I've got the 29grm ones.
Hey WW! Love the videos man! Any recommendations for a set of long storm style points? I'm looking for something 40mm+...I have the 38mm raptor gt points but can't find anything longer
Check out the recent Caliburn Waterdrop video. They have the EVO points from Caliburn with some long a** points. They're a bit different but super long sizes. The points I used in that video were the equivalent of a 45mm regular point.
@WorldwideDarts awsome!! I look forward to the review, I checked out the caliburn evo points and I'm not very keen on that system, I'm hyped for this upcoming video though! Thanks WW 🎯
@@bart4209 I just now crawled out of bed (7a.m.) and checked my emails. I spoke with the owner of Yaoyeah and it looks like I'll have 5 sets coming to feature in a video. They have lengths all the way up to 45mm!! Should make for a good video!
It's possible but I didn't notice any damage at all after about 1/2 playing and most of that was throwing at the bullseye. Flights didn't even have a nick on them
Can you confirm the length (out of the barrel) please as it doesn’t specify the length on the website description. The Red Dragon Site doesn’t either which is why I’ve always discounted them as an option up until now. Thanks. Seems to be 30mm but just want to double check, cheers.

Thanks! Technically I was classified as "pro" here in the USA many years ago. I went to my first ever soft tip Bullshooter event and won the doubles as well as the singles and that gave me "pro" classification. i.ibb.co/5xs2hBZ/20240318-171109.jpg

Recently tried the raptor gt points and have been pleasantly surprised by them, great review as always. 👍
Thanks for always keeping us informed with everything related to darts
Always love a WWD upload, especially when you're talking about points!
Nice points review! My personal preference are Mission Snipers.
I have fitted the plain black to 3 sets so far and needed adhesive on all of them but they grip really well in the board
i recently changed my grip to start placing my middle finger on the side of the point so they could be what im looking for
Thanks world wide ... I do have to say I like these points they look aggressive and grippy for the pointer finger
Nice points, I like Red Dragon darts, I'll give these points a try as well.

The gold ones I have might end up on the Loxley Baker darts very soon.
Enjoyed the review as always. I like the Target Swiss Points but I might get a set of the Red Dragon and try them.
Any chance u could do a vid on how to throw tail down darts I would love to know
Looks good. On my Winmau Sniper i need some new points i was going for storm points tho first.

I saw those gripper ones in electric blue on amazon

I'm definitely gonna have to try these points

Are the 38mm points, 38mm showing or 38mm in total?
@@lewismckane3672 In total.
@@lewismckane3672 The points that I have are the RAPTOR GT points in 38mm which I got from Red Dragon Darts.
The points are 38mm total length.

@WorldwideDarts il check it out! Thanks for the feedback! 🎯
@bart4209 Oops, I forgot but I have a bunch of Yaoyeah points showing up for a video. They have some really long specialty points. Super nice too

Look way better than the old hook-like raptors. Have them on one set and they are absolute board destroyers.
Those Raptor GT's were terrible! I didn't like that nub at the end of the point.
Can you do a review on the specialty points from perfect 9 they are great 🎉🎉🎉
had a set before they’re pretty good but the black coating wore off really fast
I have my concerns. I think the grip at the nose cone will damage flights. What say you?
It's possible but I didn't notice any damage at all after about 1/2 playing and most of that was throwing at the bullseye. Flights didn't even have a nick on them
Hi another great video but can you put them on target swiss points or will it ruin the threads on the darts ?
If you want to repoint Swiss barrels you'll need a much longer point. The point hole is really deep. And yes, RIP Swiss threads
@@WorldwideDarts okay thanks as i was planning of buying them because they looked good but didnt want to ruin my darts 👍
BOOM!

With any specialty point like these the length stated is what is showing outside of the barrel.
@@WorldwideDartsbut they are available in 33mm and 38mm. So is it this length sticking out of the barrel or is it minus 4/5mm?
@@anonym8875 I checked my order form and it was the 33mm ones I bought. The black ones
@@WorldwideDarts alright thank you. So the 38mm ones should be about 35mm sticking out of the barrel right? Thinking about buying them
@@anonym8875 I have the 38mm points and I can confirm 35mm stick outside the barrel, I've got the black set.
So are the flights chewed or it’s ok? Cause I love this set of points and I want to purchase them
Flights will be fine 👍🏻
I seen boom L flights, are they made after you just wondering?
Yes :)
@@WorldwideDarts nice I will have to grab some :)
