I have found that long Points can destabilise my dart throw if there is any imperfection in it, its a trade off, if you throw a thicker barrel heavy dart they work better.
In the comparison picture the shorter points darts are put flat in the bord. To show the real difference they should be put in with the same angle of entry. The balance of the dart changes
My 40mm arrived today, I currently use 35mm on a 22g barrel but with how I throw I sometimes miss the point entirely with the odd throw as I throw with the point as part of it and with how I hold the dart my 35mm are just slightly not long enough 😂
Longer points more likely to fall out or bounce out like Luke Littler's. I saw lately a lot of his darts fall out or dont go deep enough into the board. Thinking about putting longer points myself. Will see the results in couple of weeks :)
Great video. I’d like to give these a try. Do you have to buy special Swiss point darts or could I change the points on my existing darts? Also where can you get the little tool you used to unscrew it?
Hi Sam, do you know if there is any other planned swiss points in 40? Like the standard smooth or storm? Im scared that the dx or ds will ruin my board
I’m currently using red dragon darts but now i desperately want to move over to target for the Swiss points what 26 gram darts would you recommend I hold mid to rear thansk and I hope I win the light I currently don’t have one 🙏🏼

I tried the 30 mm’s, now i ordered some 35’s and 40’s just to try what fits the best to my throw 💪
Love your videos Sam they’re so handy and have really helped me improve my game
Glad you enjoy them mate
Find them harsh on the board but like the precision and sound on impact

When noticed this I unsubscribed. Believe this is indicative of future issues.

Depends how your throw them I guess
The example was a little bias Sam, lol you had the two 26mm points at angles, but the 40mm were sitting right up.
Great video.
I’d like to give these a try.

You need Swiss point darts mate 👍🏼
In my personal opinion the 30mm are the best length of Swiss point as it’s a nice middle ground
there's just 0 benefit of 30 over 40 chief
100% agree with you mate
@@cameronreay8153don't you think the darts fly differently the longer the point is though?
Been waiting a while for this vid
👍🏼
what was that side by side bs about? you just changed the angle

I don’t mate sorry. The dx points aren’t super aggressive though so I think you’d be ok with them
@@Sam_brack alright mate, i think i will give the DS 40mm ones a try, since it seems like the less aggressive of the 2
whats the difference between swiss points and smooth points and does swiss points damage the board more than smooth points?
Swiss points are screw in points. They come in smooth and more aggressive
@@Sam_brackhe asked about damage
Could you suggest a set of darts for me please? I am a rear gripper. Also is it worth getting 40mm swiss points and k-flex?
Take a look at my last video!
@@Sam_brackThanks they look so nice 👍

Bolides are best for cheap but good swiss points darts
I’ve just ordered a set of 26g. Will do a review when in get them 👍🏼
Just buy a repointer
just ordered the 35s
use what you prefer … for me the 40mm with my barrels and short k-flex are the perfect setup.
Well done sean hope it’s used well😮
Just got some DS in 40mm Black
can you install Swiss points on any darts?
no, only target darts with swiss tips
If you have standard point darts you can but a re-pointer from the likes of Target.
*buy
my points don't come out of my darts and i want longer points is it worth just buying some new darts in general
you can buy a repointer, not worth buying a new set every time you want to change setup
Hi sam hope your well, are there 40+ mm points for non swiss point users?
Yeah lots of other companies do longer points. Have a search online and you’ll find some
do you know why i cant remove my points from my own darts? they are 24g reddragon Razor Edge Spectrons
Not swiss points, need a repointed machine
You need a repointing tool
@@Sam_brack thanks!
@@JamesVaeau thanks
Did the barrel become unusable after it snapped ???
No. Just changed points
@@Sam_brack thanks :)
Great video Sam
My top fan ❤️
I like the 40mm points
Sold out everywhere
Plenty long enough that’s what she said
The angles are different and they change the center of gravity with longer points
I find the balance of the darts is way off with longer points. Maybe I just need to get used to them.
Yeah it definitely changes it slightly
all darts should have easy to switch points
Hi Sam
Hi mate
Unsubscribe save your money.......different boards captain obvious, what a scouser
Target darts are shit just a gimmick..
